We eat out a lot and this was the least impressive dining experience in a long time! I have no desire to eat here again.

We went for my birthday dinner and it was just okay. The lava stone bowl that the queso came in and the taste of the queso were the best part. The sauce on my enchilada was cold and the tortilla kept popping open so I had to eat the tortilla seperate from the meat. My boyfriend ordered street tacos and they were literally just a tortilla shell and beef with no toppings, with tomatillo sauce on the side. Definitely not the amazing meal I was looking for on my birthday:(

Decent food, slightly overpriced for what you get. They definitely need to upgrade their rice! It's super dry and flavor-less. Drinks are great too!

The restaurant is beautiful and the ambience is nice. The chips and salsa were good, but all of the food after was a disappointment. Our meals were mediocre. The tacos were okay, but the beans and rice were so salty that we couldn’t eat them. The guacamole was bland, and after taking our orders our server went MIA until it was time for our check. We won’t be going back.

My wife and I had a dinner reservation for Sunday at six. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed early due most likely to the weather (very typical Denver winter storm...other restaurants nearby remained open.) We drove quite a ways to get to the restaurant. If they're gonna shut down early, they ought to at least make an effort to contact their internet reservation holders! In the words of our sh*%ty president, "Sad."

The appetizers were great. My son enjoyed his fish tacos, however everyone else at the table had a different experience. The combo platter was under cooked and bland. When we told the sever, he did nothing. Not even offered to exchange the meal. The chorizo burger was also bland. We were not impressed. So bummed!

Server didn't ask for our drink order, just food, took ten minutes to get him back for us to order drinks. Ordered a $17 trio, chili relleno was rubbery and extremely dry. I liken it to a frozen jalapeno popper that was not reheated properly. No real flavor. Drinks finally came, after our food and my wife'sangrea was about 4 oz in total volume, for $9. Poor overall food, service, table wobbled and expensive. We eat out for. Third time there, strike three, never to return.

Have been to La Sandia many times since they have been at this location, this was the first time service was terrible. Our server was also bartender, which when he got busy-our service declined. Had to ask for our appetizer, which came just right before our food was served. Had to ask another server for food containers and check.

Courses poorly timed. Main course served before we were done eating appetizer, dessert served while we were still eating main course. Felt hurried.

Fantastic and flavorful dinner for 3. One tried street tacos and said the steak was incredibly tender. One enjoyed a sampler platter and the third LOVED the chicken Zarape! Chips and salsa were great as were the drinks. Prompt and super courteous service as well. will return for sure!!

We had a party of 5 at 5:30pm, with one of those guests being a 2 year old. We were seated in what turned out to be the bartender's section. The bartender was taking drink orders and making drinks for his quadruple sat section and those coming in off the printer. We were there for 45 minutes without having our order taken, and we had to finally go ask the host for a server. We finally got our order in after having been seated for 55 minutes, and were told they would comp our appetizer. Once our food came out, we had to request silverware which took 10 minutes after having to once again seek out the Host for flatware to eat. One of the meals was the veggie rellano, which was cold in the center and two other meals looked as if they'd been sitting for quite a bit. After waiting an additional 20 minutes for the check once requested, surprise surprise they forgot to comp the appetizer. Unfortunately at this point the toddler was over having sat in his highchair for over 2 hours and we didn't think it was fair to subject other patrons (who were angry enough with the service) to his displeasure, so we left paying full price for food that was cold, and not great. I am not sure why you have a bartender assigned to serve a section, why you would quadruple seat that section at the same time (not counting the two tables already seated, and why you would seat a group with a child in this particular section {the Host needs to know their audience - get the group with the kiddo in and out the door before the dinner rush starts}). On our way out we let the Manager know (who never came over to talk to us as the Host indicted they would) the bartender was floundering on keeping up with his section. She provided us with comp cards for guac and margaritas, but I'd be hard pressed to be subjected to this level of service at this price point again. I can get better service at a chain steakhouse for the same price point. Make sure you ask for the section with a dedicated server.

Service was extremely slow, food only lukewarm. Had to ask 3 times for additional silverware. Restaurant was not busy at the time so can’t use that excuse for the service. Usually good service and food. Very disappointed, won’t be going back.

We made a reservation for 6:00 pm and arrived at 5:55 pm. The people in front of us had no reservation and were told it would be a 40-45 min wait for a table. When we spoke to the host he told us the same thing. When we told him we made a reservation he told us they were busy and that that was the wait. We asked to speak to a manager and suddenly a table was available. There were many empty tables but they were short on staff. Our waiter was handling 12 tables which he told us was over double what he should have. He was doing his best and it was not his fault.
Food was ok but restaurant needs to be updated.
We will never go back.

This is a place that is dire need of a upgrade / remodel. The bar is okay but the restaurant is pretty much a dump. We tried out 3 tables before finding one that didn't rock and then the chairs were loose from too much wear. The dumpy atmosphere was okay for the assemblage of crying / whining children that kept the volume level at a near constant wail. With all the restaurants at Park Meadows this one will be my last choice going forward.
