Everything was perfect the food not breath taking but it was good
We went for my birthday dinner and it was just okay. The lava stone bowl that the queso came in and the taste of the queso were the best part. The sauce on my enchilada was cold and the tortilla kept popping open so I had to eat the tortilla seperate from the meat. My boyfriend ordered street tacos and they were literally just a tortilla shell and beef with no toppings, with tomatillo sauce on the side. Definitely not the amazing meal I was looking for on my birthday:(
Decent food, slightly overpriced for what you get. They definitely need to upgrade their rice! It's super dry and flavor-less. Drinks are great too!
Had a lot of fun at the bar and met a fun couple.
The restaurant is beautiful and the ambience is nice. The chips and salsa were good, but all of the food after was a disappointment. Our meals were mediocre. The tacos were okay, but the beans and rice were so salty that we couldn’t eat them. The guacamole was bland, and after taking our orders our server went MIA until it was time for our check. We won’t be going back.
My wife and I had a dinner reservation for Sunday at six. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed early due most likely to the weather (very typical Denver winter storm...other restaurants nearby remained open.) We drove quite a ways to get to the restaurant. If they're gonna shut down early, they ought to at least make an effort to contact their internet reservation holders! In the words of our sh*%ty president, "Sad."
The appetizers were great. My son enjoyed his fish tacos, however everyone else at the table had a different experience. The combo platter was under cooked and bland. When we told the sever, he did nothing. Not even offered to exchange the meal. The chorizo burger was also bland. We were not impressed. So bummed!
Food was fine but the service was extreamly slow. Not busy in a Sunday night so no real excuse.
Server didn't ask for our drink order, just food, took ten minutes to get him back for us to order drinks. Ordered a $17 trio, chili relleno was rubbery and extremely dry. I liken it to a frozen jalapeno popper that was not reheated properly. No real flavor. Drinks finally came, after our food and my wife'sangrea was about 4 oz in total volume, for $9. Poor overall food, service, table wobbled and expensive. We eat out for. Third time there, strike three, never to return.
Excellent, Nuevo-Mexican faire. I highly recommend the Chicken Zarape and the Sweet Corn Tamal.
