   My husband and I had a lovely dinner at La Rosa. The ambience is so nice, and the food is delicious. We have eaten here for many years and can’t wait to come back.

   Because of construction beyond their control you might not know what is inside the doors. Wonderful decor, friendly staff, food is fantastic and the owner if great. Give it a try.

   Open table confirmed our reservation but didn't inform us that the restaurant was closed, so we didn't to eat at one of our favorite restaurants on our 30th wedding anniversary.

   Veal scallopini is supposed to be breaded and fried. This was not. I got the lemon butter sauce. Gross. It was thick and overly lemon. I could hardly eat it. Major disappointment. My son got the seafood plate and it was good. Other son got chicken Alfredo - also good. Husband got chicken parm- same issue. Chicken is supposed to be fried. It was weird. “Fine”. Servers were very nice. Unfortunately, at $40-60 a plate, I’d say not worth it.

   It took 45 minutes before they brought bread to the table, the Fried Calamari were dry, the Eggplant Parmigiana tasted good but it was mushy, the Chicken Marsala was Ok but they used regular Wine instead of Marsala wine, the Snapper was so hard you couldn’t cut it and left it also when you order a bottle of wine, they should open it at the table, not at the bar, so I never trusted the taste of that wine because the first bottle wasn’t good. The second bottle tasted the same as the first, but drank it and paid for it.

   I somehow get the sense that the chef/cook didn't show up that night.. After ordering it took 1.5 hours to be served. My husband's lasagna didn't even look or taste like lasagna. My chicken marsala was swimming in oil and so salty I couldn't eat it. I have had that dish before and it was delicious! They offered to take it back but I didn't have another hour plus to wait! Two other diners with us said their dinners were ok. They didn't charge us for the lasagna but did charge for the chicken marsala. Not sure if we will return to give them another try...

   We had a very nice experience dining at LaRosa. It is great that they offer valet parking.

    The night at La Rosa was a special night as we were celebrating my partner's birthday as well as our engagement. La Rosa was the PERFECT setting for both! Quiet, elegantly simple, excellent food and service.
