Yes,it was great. Food was great, fast service, thoughtful waitress
Too cramped and loud.
Young group of 3 were over served "happy hour" drinks. The very young man had a total potty mouth!!
My chicken mole had a burnt taste and the chicken morsels were small and overcooked.
Beans and rice were good.
Margaritas, so so.
La Rosa is the best Mexican restaurant in Central Oregon! We are always treated great with awesome food and margaritas and wonderful employees!
Good food, good food selection, and would go back. A bit noisy, and prices on the higher end.
Service was very good but food was mediocre at best. Worst example of skirt steak I've ever had. It was thin and flavorless; You could practically see through it. Other stuff might be good but don't have anything that says it contains skirt steak.
Not as good as usual.
Our reservation was at 7 pm. By 7:30 they were sweeping around us and putting up chairs on surrounding tables. Not going back,
Cancelled my reservation as we were 10 minutes late. Said they called me as a reminder before they gave my table away which was NOT true. High school girls who either can’t tell the truth or are not understanding/trained in customer service. We have been going to that restaurant for years and did not appreciate the poor treatment. We went elsewhere.
Great place for dinner! Food always excellent, drinks delicious, service spot on.
The bean dip is the bomb. Usually, they make the guac table side but, for some unknown reason, didn't at this visit. Also, server didn't bring an extra plate for a shared dish.
good food, small tables. Table for 6, is elbow to elbow and face to face. They could use more space. Food was excellent, but I watched the rest of my party eat, as the kitchen forgot my meal. It showed up 10 minutes later.
Great local choice for quality Mexican food! Huge menu so there’s something for everyone and the chips & salsa are tasty. Specialty drinks and cocktails, too. A blend between home style and nouveau...
Great food! I had a lobster enchilada that was wonderful and unique.
Quality food and good service...would recommend it!
Corn and cheese replenish was excellent.
We attended the Christmas Tree Lighting across the street from LaRosa. With a reservation, we warmed inside the restaurant and was seated promptly by the window. With the tree lights sparkly through the window, we were promptly served a delicious seasoned shrimp healthy salad with a glass of wine! Thank you LaRosa for being an iconic Bend Restaurant. 😋 Yum
Consistent and good
This was an after game dinner with our grandson. We had a great time.
We have been coming here for four years. Everyone is always super friendly and the food is consistently good. It's a great family place. We always run into people we know and my daughter loves seeing her friends from school. The portion sizes are not excessive which is nice. Our favorite dish is the beef fajita double-up plate. My husband, daughter and I split it and it's plenty for the three of us. And their guacamole fresco is delicious. They can get pretty busy, but ever since they added the ability to make reservations online, it's been so nice!
The food and drinks were great as usual. But the service was horrible.
Nobody ever came back to refill our waters.
And the one time our waitress came to check on us she never came back to bring the other drink we ordered or the water we requested.
We sat for a very long time with empty plates waiting for someone to bring the bill.
Then the bill was incorrect. 4 of us ate and 3 of us had drinks. The bill was only for the one drink we ordered and never received.
So it took awhile to have her fix the bill and produce the correct one which included our food and drinks on it.
Awesome as always
Delicious food served quickly by a great waitress!
Great, food was amazing
Their ceviche classico was inedible, smothered with jalapenos and very quickly numbed the palate.
To start we ordered the Guacamole Fresco - it was delicious and fresh because they make it right there at your table! So fun! My husband ordered the Ranchero Steak (their equivalent to carne asada) cooked to his preferred temperature rare/medium rare and said it was very good. I ordered the Burrito Camarones with the tomatillo sauce instead of the Rojo sauce - because it’s more mild for my taste. Filled with lots of succulent shrimp - it was fabulous!! To finish things off we shared an order of the flan. It was garnished with fresh whipped cream (yum!) and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar (which we would have preferred without-but that’s just us) The flan was so creamy! The service was top notch. The servers were all attentive and pleasant. All in all we had a lovely experience and we would definitely dine here again!
Food was great and our wait person added to our overall experience.
You can always know the food will be great and the outdoor dining is especially nice! Service is very good as well.
Good guacamole. Very disappointing fish tacos. Good enchiladas. Service mediocre at best. Water served in plastic cups. Nice desert (ice cream specialty).
La Rosa is a neighborhood gem. While it has the customary Mexican dishes (fajitas, enchiladas, etc.), it does a pretty good job with some not so ordinary dishes (pork shank, seafood pineapple). I think they especially shine with their slow cooked meats.
Margaritas were perfect and seafood rellenos wonderful.
I grew up in Texas, and I have enjoyed Mexican, Tex-Mex and Spanish foods
The "Pina Rellena" this evening ranks in my top 5 all time favor!
a pineapple halved and filled with prawns, Mahi, scallops, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, and then smothered with lobster cream sauce and cheese = WOW!
gluten free across the broad menue
We will be back !!
Great place for a pre-Cinco de Mayo gathering. Happy Hour specials are muy bien!
I live in Bend and it took having out of town guests for me to get around to trying La Rosa. And am I so glad I did. My guests and I all loved it. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It was pretty busy for a weeknight and a little noisy but the food made it all worth it. I can't wait to return!
Excellent food! Table side prep guacamole is delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
It was great!
Good spot for a casual dinner for a group. Loved the guacamole that was made tableside 😀
Great food, probably the best Mexican food in Bend. Good drinks. Great for families too.
Great service even though they were busy. All staff very attentive. Food was very good. Really filled up on the guacamole made fresh at the table.
Went to La Rosa this past Valentine's Day. Appreciated the fact that we could make reservations especially on a popular eating out night. We were seated right away at a corner table which was nice considering the restaurant was busier than normal. Enjoyed our own special bottle of wine with a $10 corkage (love it!). I think La Rosa does wonderful with their slow cooked meats. I had the pork shank which was quite nice. It was supposed to be served with a pineapple salsa, but it was definitely lacking. It only appeared to be small cubes of unripe pineapple. Beefy it up with some jalapeno, onion and spices would be nice (and, honestly, using canned pineapple in lieu of unripe fresh pineapple, would be more optimum). And, one last thing.....the pork shank is served with tortillas and roasted potatoes; that's too much starch. Why not roast some carrots, parsnips, etc.? My husband had the chicken mole, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely return to La Rosa!
