We had a wonderful evening at La Roca. There was a saxophonist playing and we were had a beautiful ocean view. Very romantic! We shared the salad with figs, onion soup, short rib fettuccine and red snapper. Everything was delicious but we especially enjoyed the salad and fettuccine. Our waiter Francisco and his assistant were very attentive. Alejandro was manning the rolling drink cart and made amazing espresso martinis with Baileys. It was a really nice evening in a beautiful setting.

My husband and I loved La Roca. The food was excellent and the ambiance was perfect. Watching the sunset as we ate the delicious meal mede for a perfect birthday dinner. It was one of our favorite meals we had in Cabo. Service was good and everyone was so friendly and responsive. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful setting and great property. Food was just ok and overpriced. Wine list was weak. Service very slow.

We arrived and the greeting was very professional. It was a lovely space. However. We were seated outside facing the ocean (it was at night) but the lighting did not match the rest of the hotel. It was bright and unappealing and we couldn't see the ocean despite it being very close to us. We had to ask them to turn the brightness down and they did which was nice (there were only a few other diners sitting outside). The food was mediocre at best (despite the beautiful presentation) and totally overpriced ($38 US for 4 oz of lamb). The food was lacking the sophistication and nuance of a restaurant at this price point. To add insult, their was a service fee of 9% added on to the bill and when we asked if this was part of the tip, he mentioned that he wouldn't get any of it. Drinks were good but tasted as if only 1 shot was added.

Ayer fui por primera vez a cenar con mi novia por el 14 de febrero para pasar una bonita velada; pero desde que llegamos el valet parking no nos volteó a ver al darnos el ticket por estar hablando con unos americanos, tardaron más de 10 minutos en atendernos y solo por que le hablamos a un meseero nos atendieron a la fuerza, los meseros nada atentos con nosotros y eso que solo habían 5 mesas ocupadas. A los que si les daban buen servicio fue a los americanos se acercaban a cada rato a ver cómo estaban si necesitaban algo y a nosotros nos atendían casi casi a la fuerza, muy bonito el lugar pero el servicio y la comida malísimos

Service was inattentive. Our server was not knowledgeable of the menu. We had to ask for bread. Wine glasses and water glasses were left empty and we had to track the server down to get a refill. You could smell the shrimp coming from the kitchen. It was rubbery and smelled very fishy. After one bite we decided we could not eat it. We were offered an alternative dish, but at that point we were too turned off to eat it. The lamb was microscopic. Overall it was poor service and poor food. Hopefully this was just an off night.
