   We ate early so the Friday afternoon clientele was energetic. Our service was prompt, attentive and accurate. The wedge sa lad was unusual but delicious. The Oso Buco was filling enough for two and delicious.

   I went here to celebrate my birthday with friends. This is my 3rd visit to this restaurant and the food and service has been excellent every time. One of our favorite finds in temple!

   I had heard about this restaurant but hadn’t tried it until recently. Food was good but they have very limited gluten free options so that limited my choices. Food was average. Wait staff was very attentive. Noise level was great so we could enjoy our conversation. May go again if their gluten free options improve.

   A somewhat limited menu in terms of entrees (we were there for lunch; not sure if the dinner menu is more extensive), but excellent food. We split a Wedge Salad, and it was as good as any salad I’ve had. They char the Romaine, then add bacon and a great dressing (not sure what). My wife and I both had the short ribs with pasta, and our co-diners both had the Shrimp Scampi. All “A+” !! The Bread Pudding is unique and very good. The wine list is also small, but includes some very good choices. Service was extremely attentive and friendly without being obtrusive. The piano player made for a perfect backdrop; the dining room is small and it was very quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Will definitely be back, and can’t wait to do so!!

    We had a pleasant meal here. The food was excellent. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The cabonera was excellent. We loved the cauliflower! My opinion the food is a tiny bit on the pricey side. La Riv is stylishly decorated. Our server Becca was wonderful. She was attentive, knowable and very professional. The only problem was the noise level. A group of ladies were at the bar and we were seated right by the bar. They were talking and laughing. Not a problem. I am glad they were having a good time. However, I could not hear my table companions. In retrospect I should have asked for a table further away from the bar. The bar is quite open to the table areas. Overall, a good experience. We will be back and now I know to ask for a table away from the bar if possible. Thank you!

    Food was good but not much to choose from. Dessert was awesome. The drink selection was great but they were out of the one I wanted to order. The ambience was too loud for a restaurant at this prices. Wanted a quite dinner but even when it was slower the noise didn’t seem to settle. Service was pretty slow but the waiter was excellent. Not the high end experience I was expecting for the cost.

    Spent many a meal here. Service is great, food is fantastic and when they don’t have a live band it’s a great date night spot. Highly recommend Wednesdays for pasta night.

    The hostess who sat me was very personable and sweet. You could tell she makes a point to get to know people. She made me feel welcome (I solo eat) and even though I offered to eat at the bar that had plenty openings available she stated that she already had a great spot waiting for me. And it was great. It allowed me to people watch, take in the ambiance and be by myself all at once. The waitress was possibly new and maybe shy but was good and knowledgeable about the menu. She wasn’t talkative but she also wasn’t overly bothersome. I’d definitely go back for a date or solo again.

    The atmosphere at LA Riv is very nice, and the wine selection is wonderful! My food this time was good but not great: the snapper could have been a little more flavorful. I did thoroughly enjoy the roasted sweet potato.

    The food here is great! It’s definitely a bit pricey but definitely worth it. Everything was fine with our experience only our waiter was horrible. Only saw him twice. 0/0 for customer service.

    We were pleasantly surprised at all aspects of this dining experience. Menu selection was great. So many different choices. We were able to order meals that fit our healthy eating choices. The service was Johnny on the spot. Joey was patient and answered all our questions about food choices and the manner of how they were prepared. Our appetizer was presented quickly and our meals arrived as we finished the appetizer. The bill was actually less than we expected, but well worth the price. I will almost guarantee that we will return sometime in the future. Everything was phenomenal! Thank you!

    We had a great time with our family. We started at Bombay two doors down, (owned by the same people )for drinks and moved on to La Riv for dinner. Wow what a lovely place and fantastic food. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. For a person with celiac they made it a breeze to order! We will be returning for sure!! We loved it!

    Enjoyed date night with my husband. The food was great but definitely over priced 12 dollars for a side of macaroni is a little much. Wish the tables were a little more separated felt crowded. But great service and clean.

    Date night with my wife. Great evening - service was exceptional. Temple has a new great place to enjoy a great steak! Our sides were plentiful! Shrimp scampi appetizer was delicious! We will be back!

    We always enjoy going to La Riv. They have wonderful food and a really nice atmosphere. Joey did a great job keeping up with us and enduring my husbands joking around. Worth the visit.
