We had a party of 7. My wife and I waited 25 minutes for our drinks. 4 of the seven received and ate the dinners while myself and 2 others waited for our entree's. When we finally received ours after everyone else was finished, my pork loin was raw in the middle and had to be sent back. I told them not to bother recooking it, so I never had dinner. The manager offered us a free dessert. We waited 16 minutes for it to arrive. It never did, so we left. The food that made it to the table was good, but the service was terrible.

We started upstairs at the Gin Bar to watch the sunset. Downstairs for dinner. It was spectacular. For mains I had a risotto with a blend of seafood and pork. So good. My husband had their rib eye. Amazing. We had their creme brûlée for dessert, it is changed frequently. Ours had tarragon, so good

Always enjoy coming here. Drinks were great and served in a beautiful etched coupe glass. Little extras like the chief welcome appetizer and at the end of the meal a glass of bubbly to celebrate our date night. Wonderful service, looking forward to returning next time we are in town.

Always love this place! But it seemed a little off. The tomahawk steak was tough when it has always been tender and delicious. The first cocktail was not great so I ordered a cosmo, which was fine, but part of the fun here has always been the EXCELLENT imaginative cocktails. Will certainly come back, but hoping this one night doesn’t mean there’s trouble here. A thousand pitties if so.

The good: the food was all excellent, but the tasting menu was very limited to three very small dishes and small desert, we all left a little hungry. Reasons for a mediocre review: After 10 minutes of arriving, no one came to our table to assist, and had to request water from the Hostess. After water was delivered we waited another 10 plus minutes for anyone to come which they brought a snack (delicious clams). On our reservation we clearly put in the food restrictions and my wife could not eat what was brought. We still had no drinks or request from anyone other than the water we requested. We flagged down a waiter and said that what was brought my wife could not eat. I asked them to check the reservation and dietary restrictions. They took the food away promising a replacement which never came. Finally the first course arrived, after the welcome drink (which was excellent), but they had not provided silverware which we asked for. Silverware arrived then shortly after the “paired” tequila for the first dish which was already mostly eaten as it was very small. Minutes later the second plate arrived, which we had no time to process the first, which was literally three spoonfuls. After we had finished the “paired” tequila arrived for that dish. We still had not been attended to in any way. Mnutes later the main entree arrived, still working on the first and second drinks then several minutes later the “paired tequila” arrived so we had four drinks on the table already which we were not given a chance to finish. The desert arrived, still working on the “paired tequilas” at the table, then minutes later the “paired” digestive drink was delivered. I went outside for a few minutes accompanied by my son, and we were waived in because they had delivered a small birthday desert which they took to the table when I was not there. We felt extremely rushed through the whole “experience” and service was horrible. The renowned chef although was present never checked in.

Nice staff, pretty average food. Apple pie dessert was very very bad. Crunchy diced apples with a cracker on top. Manager interrupted us during a clearly engaging conversation to ask about our experience and make small talk we weren’t interested in. We said we hated the apple pie and he didn’t do anything about it; clearly doesn’t really understand good service. Final impression is this place is clumsy and overpriced.

Oyster combination was beyond delicious, drinks were innovative and great, pork main meal and grilled chicken were both perfect, tomato salad fresh and sweet and the dessert was perfect. Overall the meal was fantastic. The drinks were unique and tasty and the appetizers were also great. My main took a longer time than anticipated; I didn’t receive it until everyone was near finishing their meals but they did offer a complimentary food item similar to what I got while I waited. I’d recommend this restaurant to others.

Food was unique but not tasty so I see what they’re trying to do but the execution was lacking. There are too many places in the area that are better so it’s hard not to compare. Also… the service wasn’t great. There was lots of people standing around but no one really being attentive to the guests. I’ve ready other reviews that said the same thing so I wasn’t too surprised but very disappointed. I feel bad because I really wanted to like this place.

We absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was fantastic, the service was outstanding, and the vibe was cool - highly recommend it. The charcoal roasted oysters were a highlight, but really everything was excellent. This is a really fun part of town too - anyone visiting San Jose del Cabo should check it out. Lots of boutiques, bars and restaurants.
