La Rambla Restaurant & Bar
A very pleasant experience with great food. Our group of five shared lots of tapas plates and came away as full as if we'd eaten big entrees.
One of my favorite restaurant’s! The food is great and the cost is reasonable.
Wonderful evening of Spanish wine and tapas. In case you think churros are an amusement park kids snack, try it at a good Spanish restaurant with an orange chocolate ganache sauce.
Food was tasty! Paella was a little dry but overall good! Green beans were so delicious :))
Fun Tapas place with good food and great service. A great choice when in Mcminnville.
Our bnb owners recommend this place and they said it is a real treat. They were correct! We had a great meal and good wine. Service was great and the ambiance was excellent
Wonderful service. Delicious food. Loved tapas selection
Amazing food! Thank you to our amazing server! It’s easy to order a lot because the food is so good, but definitely get the paella!
We've eaten here several times for lunch, when it was delightfully peaceful. However, at dinnertime (and we had a 5:15 reservation, when you'd expect it to be calmer), the noise level was deafening. Definitely detracted from our overall enjoyment, although the food was excellent.
My husband and I celebrated a friend's birthday here with her husband after wine tasting. It was perfect-great food, Oregon wine, etc. We arrived 45 minutes early and were seated right away. It was a bit louder than we prefer but it was Friday evening and Happy Hour. Our server, Mandy, was excellent, although extremely busy.
Food was amazing—paella and flan. Will definitely be back. Service was also great.
This was an excellent Tapas restaurant. The Octopus was thick and meaty but amazingly tender. The stuffed peppers were also delicious. We really enjoyed all the dishes we had which also included a beet and arugula salad and empanadas. I highly recommend it.
Great food, really friendly staff, I've been here twice and both times it was a great experience.
Great tapas, wonderful ambiance. Nice little gem in McMinnville.
Excellent experience...fried octopus was outstanding and great service from Kendall
The food is amazing! The restaurant does get noisy when full. Overall, great experience!
The food was great and I am glad we planned ahead and got a reservation. The restaurant was packed and lively.
There was no corkage fee, the perfect answer to dining in wine country.
Everyone was friendly and provided great service.
Great meal. We always love the food here. The service is always good.
Great service, a wonderful table near the front of the house, and paella to die for.
Having eaten there twice in a week, great service, innovative, delicious tapas and a good wine/beer selection. Would go back tomorrow!
I couldn’t recommend this place enough, can’t wait to experience it all over again.
I highly recommend a visit to La Rambla for a touch of real Spain. Our dinner fulfilled my expectations ...
I've seen Paella on tv and in magazines all m life and now have enjoyed learning of it's tastes and perfedtion! Get down to Third Street soon and try it yourself. I don't think you'll be disappointed!
Great way to enjoy South American favorites without a passport! Octopus and boccorones, and lamb meatballs were the highlight.
Small plates, great variety, excellent choices, well prepared, delicious
Excellent, friendly staff and utterly delicious food. Wine list very impressive as well!
This came highly recommended by a friend who visited a month ago. It also received warm smiles when I told locals that we were eating/had eaten there. The menu was very interesting with many enticing options and the food we ordered was very good with great flavors. My lips were still numb 30 minutes after eating the harrissa lamb balls. :) It was difficult trying to decide which four dishes to eat because they all sounded so enticing.
My only criticism is that it was incredibly noisy. I usually do not notice noise and even prefer some, but I am not sure if it was a certain party that evening or the lack of soft surfaces or both, but it was deafening. My phone was registering a constant db level of 87 with spikes to 90 which is the equivalent of being 25 feet away from a motorcycle.
I would definitely (or is it deafinitely :)) return and hope for a quieter experience.
Fine for tapas, comfortable and quick, lacks polish.
Great wine and service. Food is spectacular. A must visit for McMinnville.
The Paella was amazing! We really enjoyed the variety of Tapas.
Food very good. Been there a long time and there is a good reason why.
Great food and service, highly recommended
Rare and Wonderful find in Mcminnville. Food was amazing!
Very good variety of well prepared dishes with meat, fish and vegetable options. Service was competent and welcoming. Interesting list of craft cocktails and local and international wines. Tapas and larger plates are offered. Recommend highly.
Amazing tapas! The flatbread pizza and potato dish were out favorites. Everything was excellent.
Although it’s expensive, the food is great and the service is good. We’ll be back.
It was very enjoyable however we were a bit taken back when we ordered two appetizers and a cocktail and said after asking for the wine list that “we weren’t in a big hurry.” To which she replied, “oh we’ll have to let the next reservation know.” (!!!!!) It was 6:00 pm and we ordered salad wine and entree and when we left there were open tables. We didn’t linger, just wanted to enjoy our visit and not bolt down food and drink. Anyhow, first time ever that wait staff anywhere has made that remark. Hope it’s not common practice.
It was a little noisy and hard to hear.
Excellent Food, & Service!
Ordered appetizers Grilled Spanish Octopus & Pork Croquetas were absolutely delicious. Main dish of Spanish Paella with shrimp, clams, mussels, chicken, pork, Spanish chorizo was so tasty & made for a fabulous dining experience! Highly recommend La Rambla!
We really enjoyed our experience at La Rambla. There were three couples traveling together and we celebrated a birthday. Our server was attentive while not hovering.
We enjoyed 6 small plates which we all shared. The Octopus, pork nachos, pork belly, calamari, patatas bravas, and empenadas were outstanding. We then ordered the paella for the table, and while anticipating the same flavorful experience with the other tapas, we were disappointed that the dish was too salty to really taste anything else.
While the paella was disappointing, the wine list is outstanding and they take great advantage of having great Oregon Pinot Noirs close by.
Overall, we would recommend La Rambla and eat there again.
We've eaten there several times and are always pleased and satisfied. Except for the noise level, everything is terrific. Definitely order the paella, along with tapas for a full and delicious meal.
