It was good. My granddaughter was visiting from Seattle. She enjoyed her salmon dinner very much. Loved the rockery and waterfalls. She got some great pictures. I’ve been to the Cliffhouse often and it never disappoints.

So happy to see the Cliffhouse now offers half portions. We used to have to drive to Pacifica in PalmDesert. We much prefer to stay closer to home.

Our guest ordered a bottle of wine, saying to the waitress "a bottle would be cheaper than 2 glasses."" He ordered from the wine list, not even noticing the price. When the bill came for the wine, he discovered, to his chagrin,. it was $165. Fortunately, he paid the bill for the wine, but we were all appalled at the price.

First time at the Cliffhouse. The service was exceptional and the food was great! We order the short ribs and salmon, you can’t go wrong with either of these. We sat in the patio and was very comfortable. I will definitely return for dinner again! If you have not tried this restaurant, it’s a must. One of the better restaurants in La Quinta!

Came with my wife and 2 kids. Asked for the cliff but I was told you had to make a special reservation so a little bummed about it. Ordered the fillet mignon, medium rare. Steak came 20 minutes later, well done. Not s big deal, I asked them to bring the correct order, which took them 25 minutes. To recook a steak. I ended not paying the steak but still, the whole experience was disappointing.

Great service provided by Susie. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed our experience. We ordered the fish tacos and were surprised by the generous fish portions. We also ordered the tempura shrimp and corn soup. The only disappointment was the slivers of fried yucca fries.

PRIOR to last night, this WAS my favorite restaurant in the area. After being seated, we waited for more than 15 minutes before the server greeted our table. We ordered poke and a Caesar salad to start. The salad was good but the poke did not look nor taste very fresh. After waiting more than 45 minutes for our entrees, the filet, which had been ordered rare-medium rare, was delivered well done. I suspect that the servers and the kitchen were understaffed, but it definitely did not seem like anyone was making much effort to make up for the slow service. All in all, a very disappointing experience. I will not go back anytime soon.

We both ordered the 6oz short ribs. It was delicious but sorry we didn't order the 3 oz because that portion would have been enough for us. The carrots were delicious and so were the mash potatoes. I would suggest serving a larger portion of mash potatoes because we both feel that there were not enough.

They screwed up the order and put an item on top I asked them not to. Then they brought out a half order instead of a full with zero presentation in a bowl. Birthday cake was just set on the table never asked if we wanted coffee or tea or anything else. Ruined birthday dinner.

Delicious food and great service. My husband and I both had Cioppino, outstanding. Ambience is comfortable 1960s decor inside. Outside seating is next to waterfalls and cliff. Wonderful experience.
