We had a great time and a good meal for my birthday. I did have a caesar salad before the filet mignon 10 oz with fries and it was very delicious and cook as demand. My girl friend had the beef carpaccio and the beef tartar and it was all good. I did had a surprise chocolate cake for my birthday it was very appreciated. The only negative thing we can say is the wine is a bit expensive.
Fantastic dining experience. Our server Charlie was very attentive and took the time to explain the different steakcuts available. We both went with the fillet and they were cooked to perfection. Very tasty side dishes as well. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Montreal!
Always a great experience. If you engage in some friendly banter with the staff you tend to get even better than the already outstanding service. The staff here are true professionals of their trade. Something we see less and less in the food service industry.
Way overpriced. The service was very good and the reason for higher overall experience. Our waiter was awesome. The steaks were good but not as you would expect for the price. And as always a bone of contention is having the only available spot being told was 645 only to stare at empty seats after we left.
THIS RESTO IS A JOKE !!! the food is good but a little exaggerated pricing .. they mistakenly send mashed potatoes when we clearly ordered french fries (cause waiter admired it was his mistake) and in the bill they charged us both the mash and the fries!! the weightier was nice and gave good service but the ambiance and THE STAFF !! OMG !! F-ING TERRIBLE!! to many "managers" passing back and forth not knowing what to do with themselves and they treat the other staff memebers like garbage. they are constantly yelling at all the other staff members at the hostesses (very rudely) and at each other. the profanities that are yelled out at each other is ridiculous .

Food is incredible, service is excellent. My fiancé and I drive up from the states on occasion for a quick weekend trip and always make a point to stop here for dinner. Even though we only go every few months the wait staff knows us by name and they make a point to make every dinner a memorable experience. Always blown away by the food. I would highly recommend making a reservation to make sure you don't miss out on an incredible experience!
The food was unbelievable, menu is amazing with a lot of varieties. Everything was on point and totally worth the price.
The style, ambiance and cachet of the restaurant is very unique and it makes you feel in a james bond movie.
Music was a a bit to loud all evening. (Pop/lounge music)
Not the best service we ever had, we were expecting a more professional service with the overall cost of the restaurant.
C'était notre première fois à la queue de cheval . À notre arrivée l'hôtesse n'a pas trouvé notre réservation ( très fâcheux ) . Elle nous a tout de même conduit à une table . Le service était excellent . La présentation et l'explication du menu par le serveurs étaient bien. L'ambiance et le décor chaleureux .
À part le prix élevé , c'est un très bon steak house.
Our meal was average. The restaurant wasn't very busy so atmosphere was not great. Three out of four of our meals were excellent, my sons steak was overlooked. Our waiter was very apologetic and cooked him a new steak but is disappointing when you pay these prices and the meal isn't perfect. Overall we enjoyed our meal but left feeling a little underwhelmed.
Been coming here for 12 years, always an event. Worth the splurge. Always more than a dinner - it is an evening that is unforgettable! Gorgeous interior - a show in and of itself. Waiter was excellent (Charlie). If you like steak and seafood, this is the place to go. Creative dishes, wonderful surprise dessert for my Husband's birthday - a good time was had by all! Will look forward to our next visit.
We went on a Saturday night and there wasn't much of a crowd. A man, I assume to be the owner, was quite loud & berating the staff throughout our time. The steak and add-ons were quite good, but th wine and beer were lacking. The waitstaff was not up to par for what this restaurant intends to be.
Hosted my employees as a reward for their hard work. Meal exceeded our expectations! Steaks were exceptional. All food was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Service was attentive and helpful without "hovering" or being pushy. Menu is a bit pricey but I will be certain to return to commemorate special occasions in the future. Note: my New York Strip was perfectly prepared to just well of medium, and was the juciest piece of meat I had ever consumed.
The most arrogant service ever. They are trying to make you overspent on everything - foods and drinks. The wine list is ridiculous! When we ordered food they didn't have neither one the meat cuts on the menu we ordered in a steakhouse, really. We reordered and again the excuses "we are out of it". On Friday night! Then they recommended the $170.00 piece of meat for two. Really! The manager came to apologize after we told the waiter we were leaving. The manager offered to get his chief to make the cut we need. How it is possible if they were out of it in the first. Place. This place is not honest . They are trying to make it exclusive but feels more like a trap where they want you to spend $1,000 dinner...
the food and the ambiance were solid. service good. but we were squeezed in the basement next to the service area for the bar. that definitely took away from the experience. make sure to get seated in a more comfortable place there and expect to eat great at a premium.
