Everything was great! Perfect pre-party, pre-club vibes. Amazing seafood entrees. Love the YOLO glass! Also lots of room to dance. Service from host to bartenders to servers to bussers = 10/10. Highly recommend!
The food and options are superb! Great taste and nice presentation. Can tell good ingredients and care goes into every dish. Wine list needs some expansion, drink list is good. Atmosphere is lively, thanks to the music and decor. While service has been OK on our visits, it really needs management to attend to this. Servers are nice, but in our estimation, too busy to attend to all tables appropriately. We always encounter a too-long wait time for our wine/drinks and no one usually checks to see if our food is good. It's the little details... Still worth going to, as the food is great. Gracias...
Drag brunch is amazing as always. Definitely one of the most wild I've ever been to in the city. While you might think this is a bit on the pricier side - $60 minimum per person as well as the money you'll spend on tips, just remember, you're also paying for the show, the entertainment, the art, and all of the work the drag queens put into their craft.
The staff is awesome at actually coming around and filling up your drinks as opposed to some places that seem to forget you exist the second you sign up for bottomless
One thing to keep in mind - the food will come out sporadically as everyone in the entire restaurant is placing orders at the exact same time for drag brunch seatings. If you want to try and ensure you get your food on the earlier side, come prepared knowing what you and your entire party want to eat.
We made a reservation as a friend recommended the restaurant. Because eod the drag show taking longer we were not sat until over an hour after our reservation. It was bad but at least we were directed to a bar for drinks. Once we were finally seated we were asked to lace the whole order at a time. Appetizers and main courses which was weird but fine we just went with the first thing we could come up with. Appetizers came out fast and was pretty tasty same with the drinks, super fast and they were good. It was with the main courses that the lost us. We waited an hour after ordering for food. Tables that got there way after we had ordered were served before us. We ordered the chicken and fried plantains. It was really disappointing that the plates took forever and on top of that they food was cold. I would go back for drinks but I wouldn’t consider dining there again. The servers were friendly and all but being sat 1+ hours after the reservation time and then taking as long as they did for the food speaks a lot about the quality of the service
Drag show was really fun. The food was a bit overpriced for what it was but it was tasty.
The service was great but covid social distancing rules and mask wearing were not enforced.
Vaccination cards were not checked either.
This is a great place to have drinks & a leisurely dinner. Wait staff is particularly attentive & sensitive to your theatre schedule in case you have a show to catch after The meal. The corn & cheese empanada appetizer is the one to get. The entrees we got - paella, short-rib parpadelle, & grilled branzino were all made fresh & delectable. It’s a great place for a nice, sit down meal in the heart of the theater district.
Nice salmon special . . . very friendly staff. Short wine list but tasty house reds and whites
First off the food is fantastic. Wonderful seafood in a Hispanic style. The waiter enters your order via a handheld device. My adult son wanted to change his appetizer order and the waiter said “It’s too late I sent your order to the kitchen” then left in a huff to tell the kitchen. Most of all the lovely atmosphere is tarnished by the BLARING music. We had to yell to converse with each other. Ownership should choose to be a culinary destination or a singles scene spot but it is difficult to pull off both
Loved the drag show!!!
Excellent food and service. The brunch show is also phenomenal.
Food and service amazing
Fun place with wonderful food choices to dine .
first of all our food came out wrong and undercooked. we told the wait staff we needed to be out of there to see a broadway show and our meal took over an hour and a half long to come out. i would not recommend this place to anyone
Our service originally started off good. Overall extremely slow in getting drinks and meals. There seemed to be only one main server handling the whole restaurant. Personable staff. All appetizers and meal were delicious but a bit pricey considering the very slow service. If you don’t mind waiting, this is a good restaurant.
Great restaurant in Hell's Kitchen area! We shared the Mussels in white wine and shallots as our Starter. I then had the delicious White Sea Bass (Whole) for my main course and my husband had the Moqueca Mixta (seafood soup) loaded with mussels, claims, squid, langoustine, and much more for his main course! Wine selections were lovely too! We will definitely be back!
It was my first time at La Pulperia Hell’s Kitchen for the snack time Drag brunch, every Saturday and Sunday, with two shows at noon and then 2:30 pm. And I must say, the show is full of energy, and a portion includes Crowd Participation (so much fun!). The entire staff and service were excellent. My friend and I decided to order the unlimited mimosas for $35. The team was always ready with the refills; we never had to request a refill. Thank you! I recommend you go with a group of friends - So much Entertainment. The food Was also favorable. We had the guacamole as an appetizer and for the brunch, I decided to go with the Bake Eggs 😋
The best first impression of any restaurant in NYC in a long time! The entire staff was professional yet relaxed and fun - always working with a smile on their faces and with the intent to ensure we had a great time. Our entire party of 5 had a blast and enjoyed the wonderful array of seafood on the menu. The only room for improvement would be to expand the selections on their wine list- it has the standards, but it is limited in number and scope to pair with the fine cuisine.
LOVE it here! Can’t wait to come back!
Had a wonderful experience there. The owner spent time with us and ended up gifting us a bottle of Brut in a HUGE glass! Food was great and servers were friendly and attentive. All good!!
Attended the Drag Queen Brunch show. It was incredible. We had the best time celebrating my mom’s birthday. I was disappointed with the food selection and the lack of food offered on the menu. They ran out of smoked salmon which eliminated choice from the already small menu. Overall we had a get experience because of the Drag show.
Food was very okay but the drag brunch was amazing !!!
Have been there twice and the food, drinks, service and vibe are 10/10 !
Great seafood selection, attentive service without being overbearing
What a great drag brunch!
Great food and great service. A fun night with a DJ playing good music. Will definitely be back!
Amazing’ definitely will be returning. Everything was good and the service
It was alright but the portions were small for what we paid
Victor and the team are doing a great job 👏🏻 It is always a pleasure to come back to this neighborhood gem. Food and cocktails are delicious; service is outstanding. Happy hour prices are very affordable. Totally recommend it 👍🏻
Great drag show. A good way to brunch with friends.
The most fun boozy drag brunch!
Great food and drinks!!!
This place is outstanding!!
Great Happy Hour. Good drinks, good prices, delicious food. I wish the guacamole was a little bigger 😕
Just discovered this neighborhood gem. Andrea prepares the best cocktails in Hells Kitchen! The food and service are great. We sat at high top and had an amazing time with my best friend. We’ll definitely be back. Totally recommend!
Good food, got the Branzino and was cooked perfectly.
