La Pizzeria - Campbell
Established in 2006 by real Italian Pizza makers La Pizzeria has been growing since then alluring customers from all over the Bay Area. A real catalyst for lovers or real Italian Pizza.
Now under new management with an expanded Italian style menu that includes Pasta, Salads, Antipasti, Desserts, Cocktails and Wine. The all created and managed by a real Italian Chef: Antonella from Roma.
Honored as the 'Pick for Best Authentic Italian Pizza' by the Wave Magazine: "...authentic pies that would make any native Neapolitan proud..." But don't take their word for it, try it for yourself.
Calzone and veggie soup of the day were amazing. Very friendly service. We will be back. Appreciate that they use Open Table for reservations because my son is in crutches so we could control the wait time.
Nice relaxed pizza place, with better food than most.
Great service, pretty good food, average environment.
Great food! Extensive menu too. We met the new owner (who purchased it 2.5 years ago), he’s a super nice guy!
Nice little Campbell Italian restaurant. Family-owned. Delicious, authentic Roman-style pizza.
We love this restaurant! The food is authentic Italian, the pizza's thin and tasty.
we really like hanging out and enjoying the delicious food as well as the warm and friendly atmosphere.
Good food, excellent service. Little gem in downtown Campbell
We’ve been going here for years and we can not get enough of this place. We have had family night, date night, my 40th birthday party, other birthdays, date night with my son...it’s our go to. Best Italian food you can get without having to go to Italy.
Great place for good food on a Saturday night, but noise level does not allow for great conversation.
Made reservation but had to wait as the restaurant was not ready to seat us. Very noisy on weekend evenings, many families with smaller children. Food is good not great.
The pizza is always delicious! It’s my 15 year old son’s favorite! Great place to go with the kids.
The food is good overall. The pizzas were good, but the pasta was a bit dry. It's overpriced and the ambiance has changed. It used to be beautiful and romantic. Now it's just bright and uninteresting. It was my birthday and nothing was mentioned, even though my husband made sure to put it down in the notes of our reservation. Overall, it was a disappointing and very expensive experience. We won't be returning.
Always great food and service. I've had both their pizza and pasta and always delicious. Family owned.
We have gone to La Pizzeria many times, but something was different this time. The pizza was different. I told my wife something has changed with the pizza. It turns out the restaurant was recently sold and has a new owner. I think they might be using different ingredients. The crust was thicker and the pizza smaller. And tasted different. It was still good, but not as great as previously experienced. It might just be the new owner settling in, but just know some things have changed. I will give it another try soon and hopefully it will be like all of our previous experiences.
Food is ok. I was expecting a pizza more authentic to true Naplitana as the menu read quite well. I was disappointed in the execution. The service also was lacking - especially with one whole dinner forgotten.
This said, the kids enjoyed it, it was a quick bite, and fun atmosphere. I only wish, for the price, they executed with more attention to detail.
Food is always good. I had the sausage and broccoli ravioli and it was delicious.
The restaurant has good food but over priced for what you get. The portions are small. If you come here be ready to wait for awhile to get anything. They are always under staffed and take forever to get drinks and food and the bill. Overall this place is good but be ready to be there awhile.
A favorite for authentic Italian pizza!!! Our family loves to head to La Pizzeria for dinner with friends, even with small kids.
Love this restaurant❤️ They put up new lights that are a little too bright. But highly recommend this Italian gem!
They have raised the prices and $18 plus dollar seems too high for a personal pizza. Add $8.00 plus for salad makes the overall meal less affordable.
A really traditional pizza experience. Not too heavy on the toppings and they don't slice the pizza unless you ask. Wine list is a good value.
This restaurant claims to be an authentic restaurant but it really isn’t. I was born and raised in Italy and can tell you the pizza is not at all italian and in the lasagna they put ricotta instead of bechamel. If you want italian american food this is great, but if you want authentic italian food this is definitely not the place.
Kirin was amazing to myself and my wife. he was fast, courteous didn't flinch when asking for a recommendation etc. Our new favorite Waiter.
Amazing! Totally accommodating for our allergy kid.
Our server (didn't catch his name, but he wore glasses) was awesome. Very attentive and brought out our food super timely. Also got free tiramisu for my bday which was fabulous! Thank you La Pizzeria!
Best Italian place in the area, always the freshest ingredients, best service and they take care of you like your family!
Simone runs a nice place. Thanks for serving up a wonderful meal, again!!
Our waiter was incredibly good and attentive to details! The food was great- pizzas and gluten free pasta dishes. The only thing I can complain about is the loud music that was playing from the bar next to this restaurant, it just did not fit the atmosphere we were going for on an outdoor patio of an Italian restaurant, eating pizza with a nice glass of wine.
we've been maybe once before. the food is good. the wait staff is friendly. ambience is not great, depending on where you are seated. we were seated at a table where all the waitstaff hang out (while waiting for food) and it wasnt a great experience. we were lucky to be at a table for 4 with only 2 of us, so we could shift to the farthest two seats "away" from the action, but it was basically distracting and a bit disruptive. other than getting stuck at a bad table, we had a good experience.
The food is great but it was Way Too Loud. We were unable to hear each other talk. I enjoy eating and lively restaurants, but this was over the top. Next time it’s takeout for sure as I will not risk another family dinner ruined by the volume. Either that or somewhere else.
Great food always. My favorite place in downtown Campbell.
Really friendly staff, attentive without hovering, simple wine menu, but a nice variety on the food menu.
The cheese board we had was fantastic, accented by the homemade focaccia.
The blue cheese gnocchi was out of this world and the pizza was great!
Great experience and fun for the whole family. Our waiter was awesome!
Harrison was our server, provided our group an exceptional customer experience! Will definitely be back.
The pizza and gnocchi were good. The service was a bit slow/spotty. I wish the menu were a bit more expanded, the appetizer menu seemed lacking.
We celebrated Father’s Day a day early and the waiter was AMAZING with our two little ones.
This is our new favorite spot in Downtown Campbell. Great food and service in a relaxed atmosphere. I recommend sitting on the patio.
Quick service, friendly waitress, excellent manager. Group included myself and three 12 year old boys, and the staff did a great job of accommodating us. Excellent pizza!
Great pizza and pasta dishes! Fun place to go alone or with friends. Has an outside patio too!
