   The guest isn’t seated until everyone arrives. My friend’s order was partially forgotten, we had to remind the waiter about the order. I have found a lash in the sauce of my dish.

   Spectacular food. Had to wait probably at least 15 minutes with my wife before we were attended to by a server, likely because the place was bustling. Once things got going though, we had a great time.

   We had an 8 pm reservation and had to wait over 30 minutes for our table. The flow of the restaurant is really not set up for waiting so that was a bit uncomfortable. Once seated everything was good, but I don’t understand the purpose of making a reservation if you still end up waiting 30+ minutes.

   Too many tables in a small space. No air flow, very hot. My wife was choking and no staff came to her aid. Her entree arrived 10 minutes before mine. The wine portions were tiny, but the beer was excellent, fresh and cold.

   Food was not good-tasting, not high quality, nothing special. Service was slow and while not being busy. Though, the servers were all kind. Just disappointing when the food was not good but I guess was still affordable with a $22 prix fixe menu, 2 glasses of wine each with the total being about $170 for 3 people. Still seems a bit expensive and don’t really know how it became that expensive. I’m sure outside of the Eataly prix fixe the restaurant is fine.

   Came to Eataly because I was in town from California and people said we have to go try La pizza and pasta because it was super good. Made this reservation like 1-2 days in advance and was all set for an 8:15 reservation. Couldn’t find the hostess stand for 10 minutes and had to ask multiple people where it was (so confusing- there was no signage). I waited for about 30 min to get seated for my reservation. They were busy so I understood but there was absolutely no communication from the staff to me about how long we’d be waiting for and that the kitchen was closing soon. Our server was ok. Felt rushed the entire time. Food was pretty good- nothing to rave about. However, I got my pizza first and my boyfriend didn’t get his pasta for 15 minutes after my pizza came out. I waited to eat my food until his was there. Sever saw he was missing his pasta, never came over to offer his apologies or to tell us he’d check on where it was. Overall spent $100 for one appetizer, one pizza, and one pasta. Underwhelmed. Go somewhere else.

    Sat us 25 minutes late. The restaurant week meal wasn’t worth it. The appetiser was the smallest portion I had ever seen. Truly pathetic. The pasta selection for restaurant week was awful. Pizza was good but not a bargain.

    Really disappointed. The prices are so high for the portions you get. Also, Both dishes I tried had barely any flavor or seasoning... Would not recommend at all. Staff at the entrance of the restaurant is not friendly.

    The restaurant was pandemonium. A large crowd around the hostess. I told her we had a reservation for 7:00 , and she told me that they didn’t have a table ready yet because earlier tables were taking longer than expected and while many had paid the restaurant couldn’t just ask them to leave. (I’m sorry, they can 100% ask an earlier table to leave if they have incoming reservations.) We waited and waited, it had the atmosphere of a airport boarding area where all flights have been delayed 6 times and individuals are ready to lay down on the floor and cry. We are finally seated. The hostess assured me that she’s going to send us a complimentary appetizer for the inconvenience. She goes so far as to ask about dietary restrictions. She disappears. We never got a complimentary appetizer. In fairness, our waiter was lovely, but he was clearly overworked. The restaurant was loud and we were crammed in like sardines. The restaurant is named La Pizza AND La Pasta, so silly me, I thought we could order both. But when I order pizza and my children order pasta I’m informed that they are cooked out of separate kitchens so we will be eating at different times. Sure enough, my pizza arrived 10-15 minutes before my children were served. The crust of the pizza was good, the toppings were subpar. The pasta was inedible. The cacio e pepe was no such thing. I beg of the restaurant to take a course in how to make cacio e pepe. The spaghetti pomodoro was under seasoned. My children are 8 and 10 they will eat any pasta you put in front of them and even they recognized the lack of salt, the lack of sauce, the lack of flavor. They did not eat.

    Truly fantastic experience! The food, the service and the ambiance is out of this world. I could have stayed for hours. The wine lists are outstanding. The pizza is to die for. The homemade gnocchi was amazingly delicious!

    Pasta was good but was expecting more. Pizza was excellent, and the starters (ciabatta, prosciutto, burrata) were also fantastic. Good service overall, lively vibe.

    Noisy and sat too close to tables next to us. We were sitting there for 10 minutes and no one came to help / give us water so we left. The food at the tables next to us looked sub par.

    The food was probably the worst Italian I have ever had. The bruschetta had a light cheese spread and then peas on it. Had a soap like taste. Other app we had was essentially puréed zucchini that was lightly battered and fried. Also not pleasant tasting. The entrees were extremely bland pasta dishes, with the ravioli having no sauce just what seemed to be residual pasta water on the plate with it. The gnocchi was basic and bearable. I have eaten at another restaurant at Eatily and had a great time but this restaurant fest menu is a must pass. Good price at $22 a person, but considering you are better off with a box of Kraft Mac and cheese the value just isn’t there.

    Food was mediocre and inoffensive but nothing memorable. The Bolognese was very light on the meat, more a tomato sauce with a bit of meat rather than the other way around. Five dollars for a small, bun size focaccia was a bit rich too. Margherita pizza crust was too thin and too wet. Out of all the dining choices in NY, we wouldn't go back.

    I’ve dined here numerous times and as always the food is amazing. We keep coming back for the food. The service however was pretty bad this time. We were sitting at our table for about 15 minutes before anyone even came over, not even to fill our water glasses. We were served food without silverware, waited a lengthy time for our appetizer plates to be cleared, and couldn’t find our server anywhere when we wanted a drink reorder. Finally asked another server for help and when he came back with our drinks let us know that he just found out that our server had gone on break. He ended up taking care of us and was wonderful, wish we would have had him the whole time. But honestly I think the food is that good that despite the bad service will be back again. I guess that’s what they count on.

    Staff was nice but we waited over an hour to order and about 30 minutes for our check when the tables around us were being serviced. It was very loud but a lot of that was just the people around us. Food was good but overpriced for what you get.

    It feel like you are eating at TGIF or Applebees - tables are so close together, the atmosphere is cold, the dishes feel like coming out of a conveyor belt, the place doesn’t have any authentic feeling or character. At the end they just drop the check on your table and rush you out.

    The food here is excellent. The service is poor. There were multiple people who seemed to be waiting on the table. None of them knew the wine list. I had to wait until my meal was served to finally get the wine and bread I had ordered.

    Restaurant was quite loud. Food is overpriced and average tasting. Wine was very overpriced. Kind of neat to be there with all the store part around, but wouldn’t go back to eat there.

    It was a great experience, I had childhood friends from Maine here exploring the city for the first time with their children; and it was perfect. Though loud, you can still maintain a conversation. Service was great. A bit pricey, but it's meant for the tourists so if you purposely go there it's hard to complain.
