La Pizza & La Pasta - Eataly L.A.
While pizza and pasta are just the tip of the Italian (and Eatalian) iceberg, there is a reason these two culinary staples are the most beloved exports from Italy. Enjoy our seasonal selection just steps away from where our expert pasta chefs and dough-slinging pizzaioli (pizza makers) create dishes before your eyes.

First time coming here and it was amazing! The food was great very fast too within minutes the food was out, love how the portions are small just the right amount and drinks were delicious. Great place to take pictures. I would definitely recommend to come and try, it’s a good place for wine lovers lots of wine to pick from.
Good food, great atmosphere.
What began as a Dine LA experience has now become a
new obsession and I can’t get enough !! Some of the best pizza and pasta along with great wine and customer service.
This being my second time to this restaurant I had high expectations. I save it for special occasions as it’s a bit of a drive and an expense for me. The first time I went I had a great time, an incredible dish and service. Unfortunately my second experience did not live up to my memory of this place.
Upon arriving there was no hostess in sight. After a minute or so she showed up but avoided eye contact and seemed a bit annoyed that we had showed up for our reservation. Maybe she was just having an off day.
We had been seated for close to 5 min before someone greeted our table. Our server was nice enough but I could tell her min was on her other table and she just wanted to take our order as fast as possible. The service was just okay for the rest of our dining.
I was disappointed in the pasta dish I got. There just want anything about the dish that ‘wowed’ me. I love me some pasta and I can still remember the incredible dish I got last year. I tried some of my husband’s Lasagna and it was better but didn’t seem to earn its higher price point.
All in all I think the service was just having an ‘off night’, which happens, and the food was pretty good, better than a lot of restaurants, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for the price point.
Amazing food! Love the ambience!!! It was the perfect lunch place for our birthday boy.
We had a great time and the seafood pasta is absolutely amazing!
Food was decent, but service was slow and overcharged is. Fortunately we caught the charge and they amended the bill.
The pizza is the best I've ever had. Everything is very fresh and authentic. Tip: Make a reservation, but when you arrive, stop by the hostess and check-in. You will almost always get in prior to your res.
Fun and Delicious !! And a great place to shop after eating !!
Having dined before and had a great experience.
Brought 2 co-workers and was not as happy with the service.
Server was friendly, but not too attentive.
Overall, food taste was good, but something was missing.
Very aggravated the pasta dishes came out very quickly for my 3 companions and I was left to sit there without my meal. After almost 15 min I flagged down our server, who had not bothered to check back, and asked about my pizza. She said the kitchen doesn’t always get all the dishes out at the same time. I asked her to please check because I would end up eating after everyone else finished. Her attitude was indifferent. The pizza arrived a few min later. This is unacceptable! The pastas should have been timed to arrive with the pizza. And... the server should have let me know up front. Will not return.
Have been coming here since it opened, but hadn’t been for several months. Unfortunately, it’s not what it used to be. The service is no longer good; we had to wait ten minutes for someone to take our drink order and no one ever came back to ask if we needed anything else and our check was brought even before we were done with our entrees (even though we intended to order dessert). The menu has changed, which is fine, but they removed some very good items. The food is still pretty good, but there are good places that have better service.
We literally had to flag down our waiter every time we needed something. He would often come to the table next to us, but not look around to see if anyone else wanted ask for something. You were out of the only wine on your list that I like. I ordered a cocktail. It was undrinkable. It was 20 minutes before I could get a waiter to order a new drink and another 15 before that drink showed up. 45 minutes into our dining experience, I got a drink. My entree was cold and lumpy (the special pasta.). I finally gave up on eating. One piece of pizza and one drink that came with dessert. Won't be back for a very long time.
Originally, my dad and I wanted to try out the two-course for $19 deal, but were disappointed when we found out that the deal is not applicable on the holidays. We still went anyway because I’ve never been to this restaurant in Eataly. I ordered the mushroom fettuccine and my dad ordered the Pansotti. I was disappointed because both dishes tasted bland and flavorless. Given that both dishes were pricey, I was expecting flavor and richness. To my dismay, I did not like any of the dishes especially the $35 mushroom fettuccine because it was too peppery for my taste. However, the only redeeming feature of today’s lunch was the arugula salad and Isaac’s kindness and service. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.
The host was very unfriendly with us because we had 2 extra guests that joined our party. We were celebrating the closing of my exhibition and that set a bad mood among everyone.
I always think the food should be better than it is. The Brussels sprouts were good--crispy with a generous coating of Parmesan cheese. The tartufo pizza however was oily and almost mushy tasting. Crust was rubbery with no crisp at all. Pasta was mediocre. Service is spotty! Sometimes good and other times haphazard. They served the pasta without a serving piece. Had to ask for a plate! Expensive for the quality. Should be better. Just disappointed that it so often is less than good.
Date night with the wife.
The food was delicious and are waiter was very attentive. Especially with a great wine recommendation for the non wine drinker. :)
I was disappointed they changed the menu. The Tagliatelle pasta is no longer the same. I returned it once it came out and immediately you can see it’s not the same. The waitress did confirm some menu items had changed. She suggested something else and I went with it because by this time I just didn’t care anymore. I was so sad about my favorite pasta being gone. Tb roñé she suggested was goof but it wasn’t what I wanted.
Great service, good food 👍🏼
Amazing. Friendly and professional service. Had a reservation and was seated right away. Food was great and perfect for a date night.
My boyfriend and I came for Valentine’s Day at around 4:30pm Service was great! We did wait about 10 minutes to be seated but we didn’t mind. We ordered the Tagliatelle pasta, Ventura Pizza, Housemade Burrata, and our waitress recommended us getting the bread pictured on the side which I forgot the name of but it was such a great combination. Their Cabernet Franc was very good as well! We will be back soon.
Great experience! Loved our waiter and his patience with us with wine questions!!
Love this place just this time around one of our pasta dishes took over 30 mins to come out. Just way too long otherwise everything was amazing
We were seated exactly on time, and able to have a quick 15th anniversary celebratory lunch with our young son – we were in and out in 60 minutes and in time for my husband’s flight! It was brilliant!
Food & wine were good. Portions were medium sized. After 2 appetizers & meal we were still a little hungry. Pasta a little to aldente for me.
Good food but extremely overpriced
Great place to eat
Pasta is just okay. I had the Calamarata, the pasta was under cooked and sauces was mediocre. Definitely would not return.
