Great food! Love that the patio is open and this restaurant has more kid friendly options than the restaurant Terra on the rooftop. Tables spaced well and server was very attentive and knowledgeable.
Outdoor seating had heat lamps, but they were non-working. It was uncomfortable eating in the cold. This is the second time that I have had this experience at this location.
Our timing was good as we understand the kitchen got backed up. The food was delicious. It tasted like we were back in Italy!
Fun with the kids
Good food , enjoyed it , thank u
No acknowledgment of the special occasion. They were short on staff, so our table didn’t get bussed probably. The server seemed overworked. Our glasses were not refilled for tap water or the sparkling water we ran out of quickly. No one asked how our food was. A lot was lacking this night. And they were out of any/all seafood dishes. Not pressed to return soon.
Service from waiting staff was very helpful with recommendations and the speed in which for came out. Looking forward to trying their menu items in the future!
Everyone raves about this place but I found it pricey with OK pasta. I didn't like the bruschetta.
One of the best Pizza's in town and the fresh made Pasta is delicious too. This is the closest I found to be authentic like in Italy!
Good. Better service than we had last time everything was up to our standards great job. Food came out extremely fast
Birthday dinner - service was great. One person in party eats gluten free - many options available for her. Food was fantastic! Ambiance wonderful! Would highly recommend!
Good pasta, service! Cool concept, great for the neighborhood!
Food was surprisingly really really good, service was slow considering how not busy they were, but servers were nice.
We went for their Prix Fixe dinner and sat outside right as the sun was setting and it was beautiful. The ambiance is great, casual and comfortable. They have heaters so it wasn’t cold. The service is attentive and professional. We had the Quattro Formagio Pizza and the Mushroom pasta. Both are excellent. We also had the butternut squash soup and the arugula salad. The soup is so good. A nice bite to it and not too sweet. The salad was fresh and not overdressed. They bread is amazing and you can buy it at their bakery. Definitely coming back.
Having been to and enjoyed Terra on a number of occasions, I decided to try the Eataly Fest special menu at La Pizza & La Pasta. While the food was very good and plentiful, I was a bit surprised that a restaurant in the middle of Eataly could only offer an Americano as a coffee beverage and milk as the only available addition.
It took awhile to order after we sat down, even just to get acknowledged or water. My friend ordered the fixed meal, and the pizza came out before the soup. They said they have no control, but they took the pizza away. Then my food came while waiting for the soup, and it was cold. It was a pretty setting, but I wouldn’t rush to go there again.
Took a friend who's never been and she loved it (Me too.) Beautiful seating options on their outdoor balcony patio. The Prix Fixe for two is a great deal, and we enjoyed every bite. Talked too long and the dessert (tiramisu) was sold out, so went for an adorable "make your own" cannoli board which I'd also highly recommend. Then add a stroll through the Eataly market and...well, it makes for a very fun occasion.
Experience was lovely. The service was very good and food came out right away.
Service was fantastic and the menu choices were nice. Take the servers’ suggestions on wine !!!
Offered a special on wine and then didn’t have it. Waitress then spilled the bottle we ordered all over the table. Wine glass had lipstick stain on it. For a $300 tab, having a dirty wine glass is completely unacceptable. Didn’t offer any condiments on table, had to ask for salt and pepper and parmesan and when it was brought to the table, it was it tiny dishes that was enough for one plate worth. Served tap water room temperature that tasted disgusting, no ice offered or served. Meal was served in a “dog bowl” type pot rusty and poor quality for a fancy restaurant. Expected nice dishware. Weather was cold and ask for heater to be turned on and no one ever came. Food was awful. Most regretful $300 ever spent. Will not be returning.
There was a $25 special for 2 courses. The arugula salad was just a big mound of arugula with lemon vinaigrette and shaved parm. When it came it was way too salty, so I they brought me a new one with dressing on the side. I had the butternut squash ravioli. It was good, but not great. Butternut soup was a very small portion, but tasted good. The pizza is the way to go. 4 cheese was very good.
We always have the best time at Eataly! The prie fixe menu was delicious and we got to shop in the market for food for our week. The service was incredible as usual!
Good food, great service, perfect venue for a gathering of old friends.
We sat outside and enjoyed our pizza and salad. Friendly, efficient service. The food was delizioso!
The food and service are always the best and the place is gorgeous! And you can pick up Italian food items in their beautiful market - what’s not to love!
Sad to report that the significantly poor quality and preparation of all the dishes we ordered mean we will not return. A good number of staff were working but service was nonexistent on a Tuesday night with less than 10 tables occupied.
Food & atmosphere overall was great. However, there was virtually no flexibility for gluten free substitution which my companion needs for health reasons. It’s a shame b/c she couldn’t have the pasta or pizza she really wanted.
Good food , good service , thats what we care , good job ,
Thank u guys
I’ve been here a couple times, but last night it was very average. First of all was confused by the fact that they took bruschetta off the menu that evening because they had no bread, but there’s a bakery in the building as well as a bread slicer - the waiter gave us some excuse as they couldn’t cut the bread the correct way to make bruschetta. Number two everything came out pretty much simultaneously, but we had ordered starters and we’re not quite done with them when the mains arrived.
I don’t think I have ever experienced service where my waiter would talk to me while continue to walk by my table, but that is what I experienced here. I think that I had my waiters attention for a total of about 30 seconds during my whole meal.
We are repeat customers because of the delicious authentic food & excellent service!
On the expensive side, portions are on the small side.
It’s ok, a bit high priced. We went during the fall Eatily event for lunch.
Staff was friendly. I suppose I was hoping for someone Italian to help me believe I was eating and enjoying real, Italian food and service.
Great views of the Hollywood Hills if your book table outdoors. Food is excellent
This was the best pizza, both gluten free and regular crust , that I have eaten outside of Italy! The salads were huge and delicious!!!
Too long of a wait for food. Service pleasant and tried very hard
Eataly used to be good. Not anymore. Overcooked pasta, under seasoned sauce and dry meatballs.
We had 8:00 dinner reservations. We ordered cocktails, an appetizer, pizza (because we were told that it would take up to 45 minutes for a pasta dish) and a bottle of wine. The wine arrived first, next the pizza, followed by the appetizer and finally our cocktails. All in the reverse order. The pizza was not good and the noise level was extreme. Never again.
Food was great, service was friendly…but for some reason the pasta kitchen was unusually slow…
But would return for sure
