La Pizza & La Pasta - Eataly Boston
While pizza and pasta are just the tip of the Italian iceberg, there is a reason these two culinary staples are the most beloved exports from Italy. Enjoy Eataly Boston's seasonal selection just steps away from where their expert pasta chefs and dough-slinging pizzaioli (pizza makers) create dishes before your eyes.

Everything was good but plastic piece in food! They were very nice about it and made up for it accordingly
Excellent food. Very loud music. Hard to hear server and the others with me
Service is very good but food is mediocre at its best. Soup was covered by an inch of oil, I had better pizza in a train station in Italy for half of the price and it had truffle as well. Coffee was awful which is a big surprise considering it was an Italian restaurant. Polpette was edible and same goes for arancini. Bread with olive oil was a highlight of our dinner and in my opinion it should not outshine marvelous Italian food but it did. Sad, very sad.
Food is amazing, just like you’re in Italy! Place is cool, very clean. Staff is super! 10/10!
Food was delicious, I thoroghly enjoyed the mozzarella. Pizza was delish but the zucca ravioli was a little too sweet.
Food was great. Server not as attentive as one should be.
Food wasn’t that great
Food was fresh and excellent quality, service was also excellent. Atmosphere was a little busier than I anticipated, but I was not aware that I would be eating in the shopping area. Next time would choose a table away from the wait staff station - too much background noise.
Fabulous late lunch. Great food, great service. Loud… but the adds to the experience!
I don’t understand why, when the restaurant was very lightly attended, the kitchen delivered the entrees within 60 seconds of when the salads were delivered. Second time this happened. Why are they rushing us through the meal when there is no line waiting to dine?
Prompt efficient and delicious food.
Highly recommend the linguine with clams pasta dish.
Wonderful experience! Came here on a Monday lunch, so it wasn't overly busy. Husband got the mushroom pasta and I got the meat ravioli in the cream sauce. Delicious! Would love to come back.
We had great service, amazing food. 10/10 recommend!
Poor service and nothing Italian about our dishes. Only the pizza was half decent. Not worth it.
All in all very disappointing. To begin there was a hair in my burrata, of course the server brought a new one but gross. Pizza was pretty good. Pasta was completely bland, as were the polpettes and not warm. Should have realized there would be virtually no ambiance as it is in the eataly marketplace but truly not pleasant. For the price, go literally anywhere else.
Our server was very nice. She was willing to answer all questions as we had quite a few people who weren't sure about the menu. And the pizza was extraordinary! So good.
Great experience. Food portions have gotten smaller than before but the price stayed the same. I would still go there again
The food was good and you could tell the ingredients were fresh, but the service was terrible. The waitress was great at first, took our orders quickly, check on us when the apps arrived. Then she ghosted us. We had to flag someone else down to order dessert or another round of drinks. We waited 15 minutes for the check. Mind you, the restaurant wasn't even half full at this point. Food was good, but would probably order to-go in the future.
Great ambiance! Almost like eating in Italy! My daughter loved it here!
Pizzas and antipasti very good. Very poor service though. Long waits for water, ordering, clearing…even though there was plenty of staff and support staff present. Bad attitude from a runner when asked if we could simply have utensils to serve the shared pastas on the table. He eventually brought two spoons. To serve spaghetti. :-/
It was pretty good. My daughters pizza was good. My bolognese was just ok. I’ve had far better, but it was a classically Italian recipe. The cannolis were good but $11 for 3 small cannolis was pricey. Overall for a small pizza, bolognese, cannolis and cranberry juice the check was $58. Yikes!
Awesome food - pricey but worth it! Also quite noisy but it was Christmas Eve!
Our server was great but he was busy and it took a long time to get our food. I felt like it was overpriced for what we had. It was just ok.
Great idea but the location inside the store means it is VERY noisy and difficult to have a conversation. Food was hit or miss, some dishes being great, others barely average and lacking in flavor and taste. Wines way overpriced. Service very slow to begin but improved somewhat as the meal progressed. Like many restaurants they seem understaffed.
I thought I had made the reservation for 5 but the hostess said it was for 4. She was a little rude about it. Fortuately they had an available chair so it was no big deal. We have eaten at Eataly before and loved the Tagliatelle alla bolognese...however this time it didn't seem as we remembered it. However the pizza was amazing. We got a simple cheese pizza and it was delicious.
Casual Saturday dinner with my daughter. Her margherita pizza was very good, better than my lobster linguine which was ok but a tiny portion and definitely not worth $40.
Overall our experience tonight was awful. Our pizza was very dry. I waited for over 15 minutes for sauce. I was charged for the sauce. My husband ordered pasta and it was also dry. His pasta came at least 10 minutes before our pizza. I asked for parm cheese and it never came. $6 for a can of soda. Wine was the smallest pour I have ever ordered in a restaurant. We said something to the waitress and she said it was correct. We compared to tables around us and it was obviously less. I spoke to the manager and she did nothing. The manager said she would make a note for our next reservation. What does that mean?? Tonight was a special night for our family to come into the city and see a play and go out to dinner. There are 100 other restaurants I could have gone with and spent $150 and had a better experience. My husband came home and ordered a pizza.
The truffle sausage pizza fo $27 dollars was excellent and can be split. The calzone was good: a delicious bright tomato sauce and yummy ricotta and salami. The wine @ $13.00 a glass was better than average. We had a good casual dining experience with a good server.
Delicious food and drink with friendly, attentive service
We were not seated until most of us arrived which I would have liked to be seated given our reservation. Tasting wine went well however they poured my wine into the same cup that I used for tasting and it had a different wine
Best Italian food I’ve had in a LONG time. 100% would go again next I come to Eatally in Boston
Very concerned at first. Mall location inside a store. Well worth persisting. Food was spectacular and service friendly and excellent.
Amazing restaurant in the middle of the Eataly shopping market. So cool!!
First time. It's a fun experience, although would look more forward to returning if masks not required. Food good. Market is expensive but unique. Validate parking, although it's still a lot. Try to find on-street meter if driving.
Overhyped, overpriced, long on marketing but week on flavors.
Pizza was good.
Eataly has always been a family favorite--in Boston and Toronto. This experience was simply not up to the Eataly standard. We had made a reservation over a month before the date but we were sat in a side space that had NO atmosphere and required the servers to run food quite a distance. The servers were really trying. But our food arrived cold. One meal arrived more than 10 minutes after the rest of the meals. And worse, the quality of two of our four meals was certainly not up to the standard we've had before. And when we looked for a server to ask about the quality, there was no one around this side area. It was a total and expensive disappointment.
Excellent food and service. Our pizzas were amazing. We highly recommend it.
The food was delicious. Eataly is an entire experience in Italian food. There are 2 sit down options, moderate and expensive, and the food shop surrounds it all. Walking in past the cheeses, pastries, meats that goes on and on.
We then saw a show at the Berkelee and returned just a tiny bit too late to purchase take home pastries. Damn.
This is all in the Prudential Center, where parking was convenient to all. A fun date for provincial persons!
