La Pizza & La Pasta - Eataly Boston
We had a great time for my moms birthday! Scrumptious homemade pasta and great wine selection!
The food is great but service is pushy. They try to turn the tables fast. We were rushed to order, never offered dessert, and had to flag down a waiter for a second round of drinks.
The pizza is absolutely delicious but I croak every time to pay nearly $30 for an individual pizza and a soda.
We had a large group from work and they were very accommodating seating us together. Service was friendly and efficient with no delays eventhough we were particular. Would definitely reccomend Eataly.
Even though I booked online we still had a bit of a wait as I mentioned one person short !
The food was great and came out very quickly! Its a little loud but still quiet enough to hear your table's conversation. Our waiter was great and had lots of recommendations on the food and drinks. Would love to come again and try the pizza!
Our experience was beyond perfection, incredible food, fabulous service. It made my friends birthday. They handeled our large party if 9 with ease and everyone left happy.
Very nice staff and excellent food.
Server would seat us without a reservation but open table had wide open availability so I stepped away and made one do we could be seated. Our food was fine but the portion of the rigatoni dish was scant and the bread was cold and starting to be tough to eat.
Food and service were excellent. It’s in the middle of the store so there is a great deal of noise and it lacks ambiance, but that is to be expected. It’s a great lunch spot.
Disappointed that lasagne is no long on the menu! I raved about it to our out-of-state guests and then heard “ we no longer offer it.” The meal was fine, the waiter was very good... just personally disappointing.
Everything was delish and reservation was honored on time
Sunday afternoon meal. It was easy to book a table. We had to wait for our table so we just stepped aside. We were seated on a small table for two. The menus were already on the table. The waitress came a few minutes later filled our waters & spilled water around the table! No finesse what so ever and in an extreme hurry. It took a while to bring our drinks and then all the food came at once and the waitress was nowhere to be seen. They just placed everything on top of plates etc as the table was tiny. We tried to clear a few plates but the person said they would come back never to be seen again! We ate but I felt the beef carpaccio was too small of a portion for the price. The pizza Capricciosa was too soft. The noise level was at an uncomfortable level and we ate and left elsewhere for coffee and dessert. It’s definitely a restaurant for a fast meal. The price was too high for the food quality. Amazingly the waitress showed up to pick up the cheque!
Our waiter was super helpful!
Suggested just what we wanted.
Everyone at our table of 7 and as very
Satisfied! Thank you.
Real Italian pizza and al dente pasta.
Best homemade tagliatelle I’ve ever had! The pork ragu sauce was unbelievable!
Fantastic Food! My second time in 1 week and I live 45 minutes away. That should tell you something.
We had such a wonderful experience celebrating my daughter's 14th birthday at La Pizza & La Pasta. The team went out of their way to accommodate us - despite our large party size - and were incredibly attentive and gracious throughout the entire meal. The food was incredible - and we're a family of Italians! Surprisingly high-end quality and presentation for such a large venue, and we had very little by way of leftovers as a result. I can't recommend this restaurant enough - we are so grateful to the staff for all of their special touches (including candles for my daughter's cake). Thank you, La Pizza & La Pasta and Eataly team! You were fantastic.
Fun setting. Delicious food. Waiter chose a wine for us that was wonderful. Great time had by all. Would definitely do it again.
Good food and ate at the bar. The bartender wasn’t that friendly and didn’t just going through the motions.
My favorite Italian restaurant! Bucatini pasta, any pizza never fails- two thumbs up
We've eaten at La Pizza & La Pasta several times and have always enjoyed the food and the dining experience. If you enjoy good pastas, antipasto, and pizzas, in a high energy environment surrounded by Eataly's market, you will like it. On our recent visit, the delivery of our courses was rushed, with our second course coming 2-3 minutes after they delivered our first course. The only thing keeping us from rating it higher is to caution guests that they seem interested in rushing guests through the dining experience to turn over the tables. So make a specific point to your server that you want adequate timing between courses.
Pizza was great, everything we ordered mediocre. Overall, very overrated. Plus, they cancel your reservation if you're a minute after the 10 minute courtesy to your reservation, obnoxious, even though you have to wait to get to the host to check in.
Great our waiter was a little creepy but what u gonna do? Lol
You must order the mozzarella plate!! The flavor was the best I have ever had! Absolutely fantastic!
Love eating here!! The food is always on point!
Great environment, tasty food. Quite pricey. Our server had a bit of an unfriendly attitude, and rushed us to close out our check when we likely would have ordered another bottle of wine.
What a surprise to find this market chain in Boston. Fernanda D was our server two days in a row and she did an excellent job. She was attentive and delivered the food super fast. The fresh pasta dishes are excellent and the pizza as well. This place was so good we ate here two days in a row and had the gelato 3 days in a row. VERY interesting store with all kinds of cookery. This is Williams Sonoma and Sur la Table combined with excellent quality eating. It is very similar to the food courts in Harrod's in London.
The price of the wines went up significantly since my last visit. I opted to have a beer instead, and I really enjoy wine over beer any time. Also, the wait staff were seemingly constantly hovering near the table. Literally, as soon as I finished my last bite of my meal, a hand reached around me to remove my plate. This is ridiculous! I got the sense they were just trying to clear myself and my guest out of the restaurant ASAP. I like to relax and enjoy my meals when I dine out. Not be rushed from the restaurant. The price is certainly not low at Eataly and the rush, rush of the wait staff totally makes me not want to return.
I felt that the food was overpriced. 3 people for a lunch of salad, pizza, and two glasses of wine, with tip, was almost $100. Our waiter was very attentive.
Fun place to have a bite to eat. Very casual ambiance. It was a bit noisy, but a vibrant local. The food was very good, prices a little on the high side, even for Beantown.
The servers were not helpful with wine, they were pushy and it was not a pleasant experience.
Best pizza I ever had! The service was good and the wine that was recommended was brilliant! Great value for money
Food is average. It is not worth the price. And the service was poor.
Appetizers and entree came together. Noise and setting seemed like eating dinner in a subway station. Will never go back.
Birthday dinner with my family. Because of traffic, we were 15 minutes late for our reservation. The host was kind enough to honor our reservation anyway and we all enjoyed a wonderful evening!
The staff had no idea what they were doing. It was a guessing game of “who ordered what” when the food was delivered. The waiter literally spit in my eye when speaking. It was revolting. Another friend was severely injured when a waiter smashed a child’s chair into his arm when carrying it over his head. BUT the real clincher was after a three hundred dollar meal in an Italian restaurant there was NO ESPRESSO available to us!
Great service, excellent food! Love to dine plus a bonus to grocery shop for favorite items from Italy!
Had to wait 30 min from my reservation. Hostess arrogant and rude. Kids were hungry and tired to wait.
It was loud. The choice of cheese from the tagliere were the cheapest and awful. And I am Italian, I know the produces.
No soup. No ice tea. No salad. Loud. Uncomfortable. Not worth the overpriced menu
