    La Piquette never disappoints: the branzino was flawless, and the service attentive and welcoming. It remains our favorite restaurant in DC and our go-to spot for everything from celebrations to casual dinners with friends and family.

    As always a wonderful dining experience! I am, however, so sad to hear of the chef’s recent death. Francis was talented and had a great personality ! A people person! A Frenchman!

    Loved our server and as always the food was very solid. The soft shells crabs were delicious but the were drowning in the sauce that it was served with. Other than that, we always love La Piquette!

    Dinner on June 7, was delicious. Host me us at door and had reserved a favorite table. So kind and gracious Cocktails, appetizers, entrees, desserts and wine were all perfect in every way. A memorable evening ! As always!!

    I had the seasonal softshell crab, which was delicious and perfectly prepared. I love the fricassée de champignons also. For dessert, I had the poached pear, which comes with a bit of vanilla ice cream. A not too sweet conclusion to a wonderful meal.
