This was a second visit in one week first one great. So rebooked for the second visit as it was a birthday celebration only to find booking agreed by you was not noted by them so no table ready for us the as we were 5 the given a table for 4 with me stuck on the end in the main walk walk way for dinners and service staff to fill table orders. Made it a big let down. The only thing going for this visit was the standard of the meal was very good.

I was passing through town and thought that I would try this place. The ambiance was pleasant and comfort. The staff was friendly. The menu choices were sufficient, even as a vegetarian, I was pleased with the options. I chose the gluten free pizza and it was quite nice. Paired with a lovely glass of wine and then a tasty dessert, I was content.

Our first visit to this independent Italian. So much nicer than the generic ones. My requests (high chair, candles) were waiting for us. Staff were so friendly and food had an unusually authentic quality. We were there at closing time but felt no pressure to hurry. It was spacious too. The kids menu was obviously tasty too as my two year old granddaughter ate the lot! Have planned to return with a friend already. It is worth travelling a few miles for.

The resturant is great .some of the tables are too close together which i didnt like . Unfortunately my meat was a bit tough on my last visit.stupidly I didn't tell them so my own fault . But great atmosphere and friendly staff

We booked this restaurant at the last minute and had never been here before. The restaurant is in a good location off the square in the town centre and even though we live about 8 miles away it was very much worth the drive. Our first course ( brushetta) was not on the menu and was prepared without quibble at our request. Although it wasn't the best I had ever tasted it was very good and obviously prepared as an extra. We then came to the main courses and I plumped for the seafood dish with spaghetti. The flavours were quite brilliant and the volume was just about right. My wife had the pesto chicken which appeared to be equally as good. I had the Lemonchello pudding and, although expensive for what it was was extremely good and very powerful on the flavours. Overall a VERY pleasant experience. We will be back.
