   I have visited here a couple of times, so as my husband and I were in Southend, I suggested we go here as he has never been. My husband had pea and spinach croquettes, which he said were lovely For mains, I had the burger, and he had liver and bacon,he said, was delicious. The burger was spot on, and the chips were proper chips. For desert, I had a strawberry sundae, which was nice. I had a couple of breakfast martinis, which I highly recommend He had a locally brewed ale from Leigh on Sea, which we both said was great supporting local brewers Service great very friendly Lovely day out It's not far from the main high street If you're in Southend, give it a visit, and you won't be disappointed.

   Very pretty, nice staff, great that they have a gluten free menu and are aware of cross contamination which means as a coeliac I can eat there safely. We will be back very soon. Parking easy and cheaper than in Southend. £2.50 for 2 hrs, great .

   A special place to eat . Food is excellent, so is the service and setting.

   Beautiful quaint setting, tasty food and wonderful staff. Had a lovely lunch with friends enjoying the food, the view, the sunshine and a fabulous milk shake. A place to return to.

   Amazing experience, we had a pram and the staff fully compensated our needs and made us feel very welcome, staff were incredibly polite and the service was A1. Will definitely go again. Food 10/10

   Took mum for afternoon tea yesterday all the food was amazing and the service was impeccable will 💯 be back probably next weekend only one negative was I used my card on my phone but the mobile machine wouldn’t accept it so used the fixed one inside when I got home noticed money had been taken 3 times but was soon returned.    Such a great first visit. Sure I’ll be back. Lovely setting. Great food choices and helpful happy staff - honest not faking it. Will definitely be back

   Quirky dining experience in the old Bowles Pavillion. Good service, good food and not too expensive. One dish was slightly cold but was re heated for us. Good choice of dishes. Would recommend.

    Outstanding! Fabulous little restaurant, set alongside the bowling green it offers a delightful oasis of calm. We went on a sunny day & enjoyed drinks on the terrace outside. The menu offered great variety & we opted to share lots of small plates. Everything we tried was truly delicious. High quality ingredients cooked well & ice cream sundaes which have to get a special mention :D Service was 2nd to none, friendly & attentive. Such great value for money. Highly recommended!
