I have to complain about something here unfortunately.
First, food was stunning and personnel very gentle and professional. Service was a little slow (we had to wait 45min before getting our table meaning 10:15pm for a 9:30pm reservation).
My problem is actually with the context. We were invited to book here based on the Miami Spice promotion stating that dinner would be $39 per person. When I booked nothing was mentioned beyond that. Arriving there they tell us that they don’t apply Miami Spice on week ends!! So we are trapped to have to go with regular menu. At the end, food was great but instead of $80-100 dinner for 2, we ended up paying $240 for 2!!!! That is 3 times the cost.
I felt fooled and trapped and somewhat robbed because the booking was done through the Miami Spice context and link on the app.
I would like to see what can be done or who I can talk to about this because it is not acceptable to me that we can be fooled and led to something that is not happening. I was happy with the quality but not at all with the co diction and final cost. I’m expecting some actions to address this misleading situation. Thank you.
Excellent food. Not enough servers. Brought me the wrong order. Server never came back to find out if we needed anything else. Had to ask for water 4 times. Deserts took 20 minutes to arrive. Noise level very high, and felt very warm.
First time we were at their Dubai location, then Miami two weeks ago and again yesterday Aug 15 for a birthday celebration. Outstanding in all ways till yesterday. Our waiter, Mauricio, was clearly new. We reminded him three times that our pre dinner mojito and tomato juice were still pending. Then the wine carafe of $81 wine came, then the first appetizer so we told him to cancel the pre dinner cocktails. We never saw them. Dinner tasted good, they sang happy birthday but service was not good. I had to ask the captain to remove our dirty plates. When we get the check, the mojito and tomato juice were on the check and I showed Mauricio who explained the issue to the captain as they stood next to our table. The captain scolded him and told him to never bring the wine before cocktails. We got a new check for correct total (excluding mojito and tomato juice) and I gave my credit card and signed. SOB Thieves I note when I get home. The credit card charge was for the higher sum including the mojito and juice. THIEVES. Glad you got you $38. We will tell everyone and not be back. Such dishonesty.
A lovely expierence.
The service is outstanding. There were many touches that separates this restaurant from other fine dining restaurants - for example, there are delightful tomatoes, lemons and olive oil waiting on the table, our water glasses were never empty and the wait staff was hospitable.
We went for Miami Spice and the lunch menu was amazing. The food was fresh, light and super flavorful.
Love this place!
Nice food! The waiter was very kind and very attencious
Too little food for Miami Spice and most of it was average. Except for the cheesecake that was outstanding.
Excellent service and quality of used ingredients!
For a French Restaurant, I actually expected better desserts, but enjoyed them anyway!
My wife and I went for Miami Spice lunch and it was outstanding. My wife loved the beets, a fav or hers and I had the Ratatouille which was excellent. The main course Chilean Sea bass and Clam linguine in where delicious and enjoyed with a nice glass of wine. The creamy cheese cake and sorbet were very good. The service was outstanding with several people making sure you were well taken care. Overall I put this on the must visit list for Miami Spice.
Great ambiance, delicious food, wonderful service, beautiful decor, will recommend and attend in the future for sure!
As always, outstanding food, service and hospitality.
One of my favorite spots in miami. Waited 20 minutes for a table that wasn’t occupied when we walked in. We had to ask for the miami spice menus. Felt rushed
We had a lovely lunch at La Petite Maison using the Miami Spice promotion.
It was so nice, I made dinner reservations for my birthday Aug 26.
Even with Spice, it was pricey so be prepared. But authentic as a French restaurant which
are rare in this town.
It was exceptional.
The restaurant is great , just the service people need to stop asking every 5 min if we still working on our food and when the plates still have food , they were taking it a way ! I was very frustrated how come nice and expensive restaurant service is so pushy and everything needs to be so fast - I don’t get it 🤷♂️
Food was Fab! Excellent service. Great atmosphere. Loved it!
The food and service are both excellent. However, the portions are small, even by French Restaurant standards, and the prices definitely reflect that this is a place for business people with BIG expense accounts.
Miami Spice Lunch. Party of 5. Tried most of the options. I left hungry. Redux of the old joke about French restaurants except without the big plate accentuating the small servings, plus these small portions served family style. Entrees didn't come with a starch or vegetable. They were priced a la carte. Even the water glasses embodied the toddler portions. I gave 4 stars because the food was delicious, the service was excellent and setting was pretty. A note: the micro 1/2 chicken was perfectly prepared for but for those who can't take pink chicken cooked to medium, then avoid. I don't think they embraced the spirit of Miami Spice. I could nickname it La Petite Maison Lite. I give the example of Novikov which was new to Miami Spice last year. They too have a very high price point, but their Spice lunch offering last year was super generous. We went back several times with friends during Spice and after at regular menu prices and even last night at a dinner party I recommended them. I think restaurants should approach Miami Spice as a competition to win over the hearts and wallets of diners in what is now a crowded Miami dining scene.
Disappointing, even for Miami Spice. The calamari was overcooked, the service was largely inattentive. It is a beautiful place; next time I would just have a drink at the bar.
Outstanding service!!! Most professional and nicest personnel!!! The food was absolutely delicious!!
Will definitely go back again when I come to Miami next time!
EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE. GOOD SELECTION OF WINES.
We try to go to this restaurant everytime we come to Miami, we really enjoy the food, the cocktails and the ambient.
Wonderful fresh and delicious blends of Provençal herbs and spices make this restaurant definitely worth a visit! The best chargrilled veggie board I’ve ever had. The Margarita Pizza was wood-oven grilled to perfection! Delightful ambiance and absolutely tremendous flavors!
Excellent! Quality restaurant! Cocktails, appetizers and entrees were all top notch. We ordered the steak with chimichurri sauce, gratin potatoes, burata, veal chop, gnocchi and the fillet of redfish
Great in general but Valet service was terrible. They just left you stranded because of the rain. Service seemed to be disconnected with valet “a different operation”
It was a great experience!
Excelente!!!!El servicio de Maurice fue muy Especial
July 23, 2019 was my wife´s birthdate and our wedding anniversary. I thought it would be a good Idea to dine at La Petite maison since we had a previous excellent experience. Much to our disappointment: Service made us feel neglected. It took more than 35 minutes and my complaint to get our main courses dishes. It got to the point that we wanted to leve and when asked for the check, everybody started to apologize and run to take care of us. Later the chef tried to make up sending us a very nice dessert along with two glasses of champaign. A little too much, too late.
I regret, that i do not know if I should scratch this, once appreciated restaurante, from my list of favorites.
Unique and one of a kind
Best restaurant in Miami
AMAZING in every sense of the word!
I enjoyed the dinner, the ambience, service, everything is outstanding We went to celebrate my birthday in the best Restaurant of Miami!
Food was incredible. Staff works as a team providing impeccable service. Will definitely recommend and return.
Gréât wine list, French food high standart
Petite Maison=littre gem! lovely décor, the food was delicious and well presented and good and caring service!! Ill go back very soon!!
Service was poor. Entrees were all brought at different times. Our appetizer plates hadn’t been removed, when the entrees were brought. We needed to keep asking for the plates to be removed after each course. The food was average. Nothing spectacular, as the first time we had gone about a year ago.
the food and service are great, definitely a great venue for special occasion. the food was delicious.
just be ready for high prices for smaller than usual plates. this is not a bad thing but just good to know since most of us are use to left overs when paying $$$$ prices.
Thank you expel did service with Sofia.
Fabulous restaurant and meal!!! Highly recommend
