We believe that there is no better place to hear a story than around a dinner table with friends and family. Each dinner features a multi-course dinner highlighting the story of a specific fish species, fishermen, chef, or hot topic in ocean conservation.
La Pescheria dinner is prepared by top chefs who bring the stories of the evening to life through each course. By sharing stories of the how our seafood travels from boat to table we provide guests with an interactive dining experience that empowers them to make purchasing decisions that support healthy oceans.
Must see restaurant on 5th Avenue. The food is authentic Italian seafood-focused at reasonable prices. La Pesheria has jumped to the top of our list of regular Naples restaurants. Wonderful food, enjoyable wines, and a wait staff that transports you to the Mediterranean. What could be better?
Thanks to Vinny and team for a great experience!
Went in for a quick dinner. End up staying longer. 30% off the food menu!!! We shared appetizers: blue point oysters, branzino meatballs (amazing) and a tuna carpaccio special. My wife had a whole baked Branzino, best fish she ever had in Naples. I had a fettuccine with lobster and scampi. Pasta was fresh and delicious. Had to try the homemade tiramisu. And yes, it was amazing. Even my 3 year old had dinner and he is a picky eater. Menu, service and atmosphere is great. Will come back, and soon.
Best homemade pastas and branzino carpaccio
or baked. Fabulous light cherry tomato sauce and fabulous lemon/olive oil sauce.
Best Italian seafood in town. The Bronzino baked in salt is delicious. Table side preparation and no bones. Perfect. Great service nice atmosphere and plenty of opportunities to practice your Italian. They have delicious fresh salads and pasta as well. The char grilled tiger prawns with or without pasta are great too. We have been there 5 times since they opened and will continue to go back. Highly recommend
Not a good value and will not last. On the night we visited we were one of two tables with customers, and other restaurants very busy. We had Branzino baked in salt, friends has grilled yellow snapper. Each whole fish was $51. My wife and I split it which gave us both a very modest portion. All that came with it was a modest portion of wilted spinach. Fish was good, and fresh, but plenty of bones. One serving of potatoes an extra $10. Verginas was offering full meal of lobster and steak that night, plus all the extras, and a salad and glass of wine for $25 per person. Should have gone to that excellent standby, as everyone else had done that night. For the same price I can go to the five star Ocean Prime or Trulucks. Glub, glub, glub la pescheria. Too many other better choices.
Was not sure what to expect, but should have looked at the menu more closely. The fish was as fresh as possible, but the charge for the fish is per pound. You pick out the fish and they cook it. It is hard to know what a dish will cost. For example, dover sole could be up to $50 a pound and the fish dish $50. The waitress would go back and weigh the fish, but overall that is a delay and a process to have multiple fish weighed. The dinner for two with a $30 wine corkage fee and appetizer was $135 - a bit on the high side. Atmosphere was great and the waitress pleasant. I would recommend the restaurant for a single visit, but probably not going back for a while.
We're big fans of Molto so were eager to try the newest addition to their restaurant family. Greeted by a male host who was friendly and accommodating. Our waitress was a different story. Slow to come to the table, very low energy, took our drink order. It took abut 10 minutes to get 2 glasses of wine - she forgot the Arnold Palmer that our 3rd guest ordered and we had to call her back to remind her. Never told us specials until we asked, didn't bring bread to table until we asked. Mind you, it was early and there was only one other table of guests so can't say she was very busy - just disinterested. The food was good but with poor service, we'll have to think about returning.
Food was great ambiance great
Very over priced, 1 fish and spinach $66. The fish was good but I’ve had a lot better in town for a lot less.
Finally a proper European restaurant. Bread was amazing as well as the oysters as appetizer. We chose our own fresh fish baked or grilled. The others had the daily special, tagliatelle with lobster. A treat to have fresh homemade pasta. Kids had great spaghetti and icecream on the house. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back when in naples!
Must have been a night where they were short handed. Only 3 employees to serve and clear tables in a full restaurant made for an unpleasant experience.
Such authentic Sardinian italian! Dining , atmosphere, and service was outstanding as well. Will return for sure!
Very authentic and excellent food. It reminded me of restaurants by the sea in Italy.
Maria was fantastic. Food fabulous. Met friends who also enjoy authentic Italian dishes. Fairly new place sister of Molto. Predict will be hard to get a table next season.
Great service and fabulous fresh fish cooked in salt crust. Pasta was very good. Highly recommend.
FOOD IS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD. VERY FRESH, GREAT SERVICE, SO DELICIOUS!! KEEPS GETTING BETTER WITH EVERY VISIT!
Always delicious. Molto & Persheria are our Naples favorites....
Overpriced for the dish served. Too hot outside for the doors to be open.
We were a party of six and we all enjoyed our dishes. Great food, great staff nice ambiance. The pasta special with lobster and langostino was excellent. Should be put on daily menu. We tried various dishes and everyone was pleased. Good choice of
Italian wines also
The food was decent, I had spaghetti w/lobster and shrimp and both were overcooked but not bad. The menu is confusing and I probably would not go here again because of this.
Very special restaurant on 5th Ave. Maria is always perky & efficient! Thank you, Kristin
One of three dishes was served refrigerator cold. When notified, wait staff scooped up the dish without apology, leaving one member of our party without plate or cutlery. I had to take place setting items off the next table so that we could share what we had. The same dish - not a replacement - arrived warm ten minutes later. No apology nor compensation was offered. Indeed, the service became abrupt after the problem. This is an unacceptable response to a problem that occurs from time-to-time even in good restaurants. We will not be back.
Very loud. Too many tables for floor space. Bar too close to tables.
Food was delicious. Pastas fresh, fish soup wonderful as well as the branzino meatballs. However if you order the fresh fish beware of the pricing. Can get expensive when selecting your own fish. For example my husband and I shared a $90 branzino. Delicious but a bit high priced. I would recommend this restaurant in a minute but will not select my own fish again. Other fab foods to order.
We had a super night although it did get busier and noisier as the evening went on. Would definitely go back.
Most authentic Italian meal I’ve had outside of Italy. The seafood is very fresh and perfectly prepared. I recommend the salt encrusted whole branzino.
Excellent as usual. Love Lorella as our server. Will defiantly be back😊
The food was nothing special but was very expensive compared to similar restaurants. It could just be that we didn’t order the right thing but we just found the fish very bland.
Fish as it should be served. You get to pick the one you want, and have it prepared your way.
Food was excellent as was the Service!
Excellent dinner. Fish was fresh. Must try the salted baked whole fish. Worth it!
Great service !!!
Just a terrific experience all around - food, service, ambiance - first class. Always love Molto and now LaPescheria. Highly recommend!
Excellent meal 🐠. Love our server Lorella😊
We had a wonderful time dining here. The food and service were excellent. To start, we enjoyed the burrata with anchovies, and had the branzino meatballs. Amazing! We then had super fresh fish and house made pasta. This is my new favorite restaurant in Naples!
Ordered a filet of snapper pan seared, an entire fish encrusted in salt appeared and was unprofessionally fileted right in the salt, it should have been transfered to a clean platter before fileting, resulting in a good portion of the fish being wasted and the fish served was very salty. This was $56 with no sides. Will not return
The waitress announced a special but she didn’t give us the price. It’s $61 for a salt encrusted fish, we would’ve thought twice before ordering it. When you announce a special, please include the price
Absolutely the best seafood on 5th Ave S. Pick your fresh fish, it will be perfectly prepared and filleted tableside. Fabulous!!!
