We believe that there is no better place to hear a story than around a dinner table with friends and family. Each dinner features a multi-course dinner highlighting the story of a specific fish species, fishermen, chef, or hot topic in ocean conservation.
La Pescheria dinner is prepared by top chefs who bring the stories of the evening to life through each course. By sharing stories of the how our seafood travels from boat to table we provide guests with an interactive dining experience that empowers them to make purchasing decisions that support healthy oceans.
Great service and fabulous fresh fish cooked in salt crust. Pasta was very good. Highly recommend.
Always delicious. Molto & Persheria are our Naples favorites....
Overpriced for the dish served. Too hot outside for the doors to be open.
We were a party of six and we all enjoyed our dishes. Great food, great staff nice ambiance. The pasta special with lobster and langostino was excellent. Should be put on daily menu. We tried various dishes and everyone was pleased. Good choice of
Italian wines also
The food was decent, I had spaghetti w/lobster and shrimp and both were overcooked but not bad. The menu is confusing and I probably would not go here again because of this.
Very special restaurant on 5th Ave. Maria is always perky & efficient! Thank you, Kristin
One of three dishes was served refrigerator cold. When notified, wait staff scooped up the dish without apology, leaving one member of our party without plate or cutlery. I had to take place setting items off the next table so that we could share what we had. The same dish - not a replacement - arrived warm ten minutes later. No apology nor compensation was offered. Indeed, the service became abrupt after the problem. This is an unacceptable response to a problem that occurs from time-to-time even in good restaurants. We will not be back.
Very loud. Too many tables for floor space. Bar too close to tables.
Food was delicious. Pastas fresh, fish soup wonderful as well as the branzino meatballs. However if you order the fresh fish beware of the pricing. Can get expensive when selecting your own fish. For example my husband and I shared a $90 branzino. Delicious but a bit high priced. I would recommend this restaurant in a minute but will not select my own fish again. Other fab foods to order.
We had a super night although it did get busier and noisier as the evening went on. Would definitely go back.
Most authentic Italian meal I’ve had outside of Italy. The seafood is very fresh and perfectly prepared. I recommend the salt encrusted whole branzino.
Excellent as usual. Love Lorella as our server. Will defiantly be back😊
The food was nothing special but was very expensive compared to similar restaurants. It could just be that we didn’t order the right thing but we just found the fish very bland.
Fish as it should be served. You get to pick the one you want, and have it prepared your way.
Food was excellent as was the Service!
Excellent dinner. Fish was fresh. Must try the salted baked whole fish. Worth it!
Great service !!!
Just a terrific experience all around - food, service, ambiance - first class. Always love Molto and now LaPescheria. Highly recommend!
Excellent meal 🐠. Love our server Lorella😊
We had a wonderful time dining here. The food and service were excellent. To start, we enjoyed the burrata with anchovies, and had the branzino meatballs. Amazing! We then had super fresh fish and house made pasta. This is my new favorite restaurant in Naples!
Ordered a filet of snapper pan seared, an entire fish encrusted in salt appeared and was unprofessionally fileted right in the salt, it should have been transfered to a clean platter before fileting, resulting in a good portion of the fish being wasted and the fish served was very salty. This was $56 with no sides. Will not return
The waitress announced a special but she didn’t give us the price. It’s $61 for a salt encrusted fish, we would’ve thought twice before ordering it. When you announce a special, please include the price
Absolutely the best seafood on 5th Ave S. Pick your fresh fish, it will be perfectly prepared and filleted tableside. Fabulous!!!
Food was pretty good but not great. Scallop appetizer was really good. Calamari appetizer was ok but not really exciting. Veal dish was a little dry. Not good selection of wine by the glass. Out of lasagna and apple pie. The atmosphere is casual but nice as was the wait staff. It’s really a fish restaurant so not sure this is an adequate review since we didn’t order their special dishes.
4th visit this season
We will be back at least one more time
Service was horrendous.
great food, authentic Italian influences. all the dishes were great. food is very fresh and presented well. owner and daughter hostess are kind people who are there to help you have a great meal. This is a new restaurant but has hit its stride quickly. have been there for lunch and dinner. both excellent.
Not at all consistent with the description of a restaurant focused on sustainable catch. Also very expensive for average food.
Excellent new seafood restaurant on 5th Ave S. Unique dishes that you have not seen before along with traditional seafood offerings such as choosing your own fresh fish. Don’t miss the branding meatballs.
Our table was ready on time but once we sat we waited 10 minutes before a server greeted us. Waiting another 15 minutes to have our bottle of wine opened and hear the specials and place our order. Several appetizers finally arrived and were delicious. We then waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes after our appetizers for our dinner to arrive. We asked several times about our food and the server didn’t see a problem with the time between apps and dinner.
Good food, unacceptable wait time for grilled fish. Made an otherwise enjoyable night not enjoyable. Not sure if we’ll be back.
Everything was great! The food is delish. Service was top notch. Will definitely return soon!
Unfortunately our server was arrogant and supercilious. Since it was our first visit to the restaurant, we were not familiar with the menu and he made no effort to help us. He quickly ran through the special (which we assumed was the fish that we would order cooked to our liking from the three options offered). Well, that was not the case and we couldn't figure out what to do. He was annoyed when I asked him for some more time (which I needed to figure out what to order). We finally asked him again to repeat the special which he did (with an eye roll). My husband finally figured out that the special was unrelated to the three items listed in the box on the right of the menu. Clearly the waiter is not a "people person" and for some reason figured that even a first-time visitor to the restaurant child need a little guidance. He wanted to turn the table quickly and then rushed us through the appetizer and entree. We decided we didn't need a dessert! I might be tempted to try again (since the fish was so delicious), but not with that server.
My gnocchi was excellent. Glad our server recommended it. A lovely evening
The ambiance is nice. And our waitress, Laurela, was wonderful. But the food was a real disappointment. I had the whole fish with potatoes and tomatoes. Lots of potatoes, the sauce was very bland, and the fish OK but not much of it. For $62! Others in our group shared the salt fish. The amount of fish was not enough for two, and the fish was very bland and tasteless. Also expensive.
They will not make it in Naples.
Place is badly understaffed, hopefully they do better next winter
Fantastic meal, value and service. The Italian's kn ow how to cook and this restaurant is at the top of the local ones. Would recommend to all.
Out standing food, but evening mArred by uneven service and an uncomfortable noise level. We were seated inside and the small space can’t handle the crescendo of a filled restaurant. If try again will ask for outside table. The pasta dishes were superb.
