La Pergoletta offers one of a kind, delicious Italian cuisine at a bargain price. Fresh ingredients prepared by the most capable hands await you, your friends and your family. Stop by for lunch or dinner. Begin with appetizers like the antipasto misto or have a fresh salad like the panzanella or the burrata salad.
La Pergoletta also features a variety of pastas like the lasagna bolognese or the burro and salvia filled pasta, if you're looking for a richer and heartier dish. Other popular choices include the tagliata classica chiecken and the tagliata creme di funghi filet minion with porcini, portobello and Parisian mushrooms and creme. Finish off the experience with affogato al caff, a scoop of vanilla “drowned” in Lavazza espresso. Go all out with the panna cotta caramello or the cannoli. La Pergoletta would like to personally invite you out for an elevated experience.
Traditional Italian done incredibly well.
Nice casual dinner. Alexis was a great waitress. Caesar salad was delish and the home made pasta was perfect.
A great, homey Italian spot with classic, wonderful food.
as always, excellent & enjoyable. food, ambiance, service...
Great neighborhood restaurant. Hits the spot when you're in the mood for red sauce and red checkered table cloths.
I told the waiter what wanted and he said he had something just like it but it wasn’t at all close. Everything else was good
Perfect for a bite before a show at The Greek.
Come early - service was slow.
But the pasta was worth the wait.
Went before Greek theater event. We had a lovely meal and bottle of wine. Only snafu was at end of meal they somewhat abandoned us leaving plates on table too long and not asking for dessert/drink orders or if we were ready for bill. Otherwise a 5 star experience
This is my go to Italian restaurant....family owned, friendly ambiance, reasonably priced and the food is AMAZING!!
Bread was ok, could be better.
Food is always fantastic! Whenever we bring new guests to this restaurant they are always impressed with the food and ambience. The guests always go back
Always love La Pergoletta. Thank you for being great
As always, every single thing is absolutely delicious!
The atmosphere is relaxed and charming. The waiter was competent, but when I told him my pasta was over cooked and mushy and my arrabbiata sauce was mild, he told me he’d let the kitchen know. Next time maybe take my plate and remake it???
Food. Drinks. Ambiance. Food.
La Pergoletta is a personal favorite and, in my opinion, the best Italian restaurant in LA. The food is really delicious and authentic, the pasta is al dente perfection and the decor of this little hole-in-the-wall place is reminiscent of the Italian countryside. Also the focaccia that comes in the breadbasket is the best, fluffy and herby!
Excellent service, incredibly amazing and delicious entrees (seriously you can't go wrong with anything you order), awesome ambiance. One of my all time favorite places to dine.
La Pergoletta > Farfalla. I've been here a number of times and am consistently impressed with the food quality. Pastas are handmade and the flavors are excellent. I'd recommend getting a reservation, it can be difficult to walk in depending on day / time.
We were looking for a restaurant to eat before a show at the Greek Theater. We live in Newport Beach and haven't been to the Greek for many years. On all the lists I found, La Pergoletta was listed very high. La Pergoletta was the opposite of what I envisioned. I was very surprised that we had arrived at the restaurant when we pulled into the lot. I expected something fancy. La Pergoletta is hardly that but the food is much better than most of the fancy spots. It's great pasta. Very casual but the service is excellent.
Neighborhood restaurant. Never would have found it - but so worth it. Get the Tiramisu....worth the calories!
Delicious food and relaxed atmosphere. Will return!
Though the space itself is an ugly hole in the wall in a minimally, the food and service were outstanding.
La Pergoletta is a hidden gem that never disappoints! Definitely our favorite Italian restaurant in Los Angeles!
The homemade pasta was amazing. They have a good wine list. The desserts were good.
First time and loved it! Casual atmosphere, service was warm and attentive. Food was good, authentic. Husband wants to go again!
Great host, great waiter, food was piping hot and delicious. Alfredo sauce best we've tasted.
Worse experience I ever had. Eggplant Parmigiana was served raw and uncooked. Service was non existent.
We travel far to eat here. Love the food! Best pasta in LA. Laid back, neighborhood place in a strip mall is a culinary jewel. The meatballs stuffed with cheeses are to die for as is all gravy and the pasta.
Don't judge by the appearance of the strip mall where this restaurant is located. Step inside and you're transported to a cozy, romantic restaurant in Italy. Great stop for couples and families. Pasta is fresh and homemade. We chose this due to its close proximity to Griffith Observatory.
We go often, for the excellent food and, the comfortable atmosphere. We've never had a bad experience. La Pergoletta gets busy and very noisy but, that's because so popular!
Still pretty great fresh pasta, but the service has gone a little downhill. And it's starting to seem a bit pricey for what you get. Hope they improve things with their new branch in Echo Park...
I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and I thought the dish was average at best. I asked for the pasta to be al dente but it arrived downright mushy. The portion was small and the meatballs tasted similar to the packaged meatballs at Trader Joe's.
If you want a traditional Italian meal like this, spend maybe two or three dollars more and got to Dan Tana's.
Although we had a lovely time at La Pergoletta we sadly found the food (& wine) to be just ok - right from the bread! And after hearing good things. Ah well, we tried it.....
Always a favorite.
How do they get the gnocchi so light?
If you are on a low-carb diet, break it for the pasta, any of it.
Although a little far from where we live, we met friends for dinner there and fell in love with La Pergoletta! The food is delicious, pasta made fresh every day, wonderful choices of Italian wine, and the prices are not excessive. We will definitely return!
Great food! Will be back!! We had the risotto di mare and buratta salad, we were in a hurry, food came out fast and was soo good!!!
Great. Awesome service
Service was amazing and best Italian food on the west coast!!!
Overall it was good, not amazing. Both of our food was pretty garlicky.
Fresh pasta. FRESH PASTA. Did I say "FRESH"? Yeah, I did. Amazing how something so simple as fresh pasta eludes so many Italian restaurants in this city. La Pergoletta offers an array of fresh pastas (well, it is ALL freshly made in the kitchen), and you can pair your favorite with your favorite sauce/presentation. We had some night light red (in short glasses!). Great meal. Thanks so much. We will be back, most certainly.
