La Pergoletta offers one of a kind, delicious Italian cuisine at a bargain price. Fresh ingredients prepared by the most capable hands await you, your friends and your family. Stop by for lunch or dinner. Begin with appetizers like the antipasto misto or have a fresh salad like the panzanella or the burrata salad.
La Pergoletta also features a variety of pastas like the lasagna bolognese or the burro and salvia filled pasta, if you're looking for a richer and heartier dish. Other popular choices include the tagliata classica chiecken and the tagliata creme di funghi filet minion with porcini, portobello and Parisian mushrooms and creme. Finish off the experience with affogato al caff, a scoop of vanilla “drowned” in Lavazza espresso. Go all out with the panna cotta caramello or the cannoli. La Pergoletta would like to personally invite you out for an elevated experience.
Ambience is nice and dimmly lit by candle light. Food is amazing, fresh and taste delicious.
We had a wonderful meal and will definitely be back. We want to try the new location in Silver Lake too!
My friends all loved their pasta. I ordered a risotto and wasn’t a big fan. It was pretty cold when they brought it
The pastas were very delicious, but they need to add some more vegetable appetizers and sides to the menu.
Amazing food, it’s one of my favorites.
Incredible/Fresh food, great service, and amazing ambiance!
They cancel reservations after 10 minutes without warning or notice when booking the reservation. Also, our dinner was interrupted by firefighters trying to get through when another guest in the restaurant was carried out in a gurney. It was an awlful experience.
Great food. Great ambiance. Great wait staff. I had thought I made the reservation for 6:15, but in reality made if for 5:15. Upon arrival, the hostess was not very helpful. After I gave her our names she said the reservation was missed and she didn't offer to seat us. I asked her if she could seat us and she said she didn't think so but could possibly put us outside. (by the way, the entire restaurant was virtually empty) She did end up seating us inside but wasn't very nice about it. I took a photo to show how empty it was at that time. I won't hold her unpleasantness against the entire experience and would recommend this place to friends and family.
La Pergoletta is one of my favorite restaurants in LA. The food is always delicious and for that alone, I will keep coming back forever.
The food was fantastic, the service was great.
Really nice place and a good discovery! Pasta were really good as in Europe! It was a pleasure for us to have a real taste of Italy!
Have loved this neighborhood restaurant in the past even though the service is questionable. This particular visit was particularly bad! The hostess was cold and borderline rude, service poor and though it was busy and people were waiting, two tables next to us were told they needed to leave because they needed to seat other people...we were shocked. The couple at the table next to us were only there about an hour and the table next to them was asked to leave as well. They were so angry understandably! Lucky they didn’t ask us to leave as to leave as I would have left and not paid the bill.
It’s a shame because this policy is not to be tolerated when you’re out on a Saturday night and trying to enjoy a meal...I may never return, as this has left a bad taste in my mouth, so to speak.
Love this place! But on my recent visit, while finishing our bottle of wine, the hostess came up and told us we had to leave as our table had been reserved. This has happened to me at other restaurants and I'm not shocked that a popular place has to turn its tables over. But the way she told us was rude and hostile, and totally abrupt -- give us a 10-minute heads up and we'll sip our wine faster! This experience left a really bad taste in my mouth. There's a nice way to ask people to make way for the next customers, maybe La Pergoletta could find it.
One of the best hidden gems in the area. Affordable and absolutely delicious.
Food was beyond amazing but service was really slow!
I felt like I was back in Italy. Truly authentic!
Genuine Tuscan fare in a very homey atmosphere. Recommend the San Giovese wine. Great desserts
The portions were smaller than expected and we were hoping for warm bread service. Service was excellent and ambiance was great. I would recommend this place to a friend!
It didn't live up to expectations. The entire operation was chaotic.
This is a hidden gem in Los Feliz. It's feels like a you've been transported to Italy. The pasta is fresh and the sauces are to die for. My only complaint is that two times in a row, I found the hostess to be unfriendly and off-putting.
We absolutely love La Pergoletta (so much that this was the third weekend in a row that we've been). Our waiter might have been having an off night so we always take a one-off with a grain of salt. As an FYI - when given the choice between Sparking or Still, I believe there is good reason to think that many people assume still is filtered, tap water; howver, the biggest suggestion is to make sure to specify TAP WATER if that is what you want. We had three bottles of still water that we had not planned on added to the bill. That was a bummer. But THIS PLACE ROCKS!!!
Fantastic experience. Food was excellent. Had a reservation and got seated immediately.
Food was amazing! We had great wine. The polenta appetizer was great. And the entrees were terrific! The restaurant itself is nice. The service was very slow. Very nice people working but I think they were either short staffed or just moved super slow. I would still go back because the food is really good.
Parents were in town. My mom is Italian and she loved it.
What a terrific find! Very unassuming place that surprises. Delicious food. Fantastic pasta! Loved the cioppino!
The maitre d’ was rude. After seating us at an inconvenient table for 2 in the center of a busy room, she rebuffed several later requests to find us a better table, claiming that other customers had requested those tables. All excuses in my book. There are other Italian restaurants in the neighborhood. I won’t be back here for awhile. Go ahead and tell the restaurant.
Had a lovely time.
As always the food was fantastic, favorite neighborhood restaurant.
Tables were so close together. Difficult to get in and out without bumping your neighboring table. Host could use some customer service skills. Blasting Mexican Banda music while trying to enjoy an intimate Italian dinner doesn’t fare well with the ambiance either.
We have gone to Pergoletta since its opening and have NEVER had a bad experience!!! The food has always been the BEST in LA Italian eateries and we would NEVER go to any other Italian restaurants! The setvice is excellent and the menu varied. The owner & his wife are charming and sincerely concerned about one’s dining pleasure!! The sauces fabulous!!! LOVE IT!!!❤️
The food is amazing! 3 of us got a few pastas to share and they were so so good. We had the filled gnocchi with mushroom sauce, the rigatoni with bolognese sauce and the fettuccini with the bolognese cream sauce. ( can’t remember what the sauce is called but it has mushrooms in it) all of the pastas were divine. Some of the best I’ve ever had. The wine was good and the dessert equally as heavenly- we had the Panna cotta with berries and the tiramisu. The atmosphere is old school Italian and is very endearing. Lighting was nice with candles at every table I would definitely go again. Can’t wait to go back!
The pasta dishes did not disappoint . The food was really good. I am planing to visit again and to bring my family.
Dinner at La Pergoletta with my love I found a) romantic and b) the food and atmosphere were outstanding. I had spaghetti with garlic and chili peppers, spicy and perfect. She had Penne Bolognese -- also perfect. There is energy in that room, but I could hear my companion, so it worked out. Get the scoop of vanilla ice cream in a small bath of espresso coffee. Wow!
This was my second time here and literally every bite is absolutely amazing! Every single dish from start to finish was beyond expectations! So many options and all so tasty! Total gem!
We only recently discovered this neighborhood Italian restaurant, but it's already become a favorite. Though they have a few special "secondi" entrees, pasta (home made and diverse) is where it excels. For something simple and inexpensive, their angel hair (capellini) with a light olive oil, basil and garlic sauce is superb.
I was a little disappointed this time. I have come to this restaurant in the past and really enjoyed it. This time the food was mediocre, service wasn’t great. They were under staffed and the server seemed in a hurry the whole time barely taking our order. The only good part was the desert that was delicious. The last part of our night we were rushed out because they were seating someone else that had a reservation at 8:45. Too bad like I said I really liked this restaurant before but this time not so much.
La Pergoletta’s main draw is the outstanding food. Service was slow and the old timey ambiance is not exactly cutting edge, but the food is great and the prices were reasonable especially for this level of quality. We don’t live close but we’d make the drive again.
This is a lovely restaurant with good food - this was my second time and the food was a little too oily. I might ask for light oil insofar as that is possible next time. Both times I've come there's been some confusion with the reservation and I think the hostess could be a little more efficient, but she is kind and everyone there is nice. A nice spot.
