A fantastic night out as always when dining at La Peg! Ordered the pot roast for dinner and gingerbread cookie for dessert and both were phenomenal! Definitely will be back soon!
The food was amazing and the service and environment great. A little noise when the PATCO train was crossing the bridge as we were eating outside but really not big deal. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Dined in-door. I felt very comfortable. Our server was great and friendly. The food came out quickly and portions were big. I would definitely go again.
Nice place, a bit too loud from the bridge/ traffic/ train etc ... wish they had blankets, seats were quite cold. Parking was also a challenge.
Excellent as usual, first time we've eaten inside since the pandemic.
Was happy to be back after an unpleasant experience. Everything was excellent. Thanks for going above and beyond to rectify the situation.
Well it was a Monday night, it was 2 of us and another couple and that was all so service was great. Not much variety on the main menu. Manager came over to inquire was our service satisfactory , nice touch. I imagine more going on on weekends
Food was delicious and drinks were awesome. It's a limited drink and food menu but I found a couple of things I wanted to try. We will go back.
Not with standing the noise level outside, service and food were excellent
Extremely slow wait service, but good food
They were doing construction by the bridge. Our server said they were told it was going to stop an hour before our reservation time. I didn’t stop. We were offered indoors but not dining indoors during Covid. View was great. Noise was soo annoying.
Service was nice and our waitress was so kind -- appetizers were delicious, but the entrees were bland and WAY overcooked.
Every time I go they are always out of multiple dishes. On a Saturday night you would expect them to have the right things ordered to be prepared for customers
Great outdoor location with tasty drinks and yummy food. Service was excellent.
This is definitely somewhere you go for bar food. First thing the wait staff told us was that we had a set time limit to eat (believe it was 90 minutes) which is totally fine, but the service was incredibly slow. By the time we got our food we were already 75 minutes in. The steak was terrible... we asked for medium rare and got something well done. The waiter got the soup wrong and comped it. They also tried to comp us the steak but by that point we didn’t want to wait for it anymore and decided to leave.
The venue and ambience was cool but just wished the food and service was better.
The service was bomb like they were attentive and accommodating the food was a little pricey for the amount but it was okay
They don’t currently have their standard dinner menu which was a bummer because they had that posted on opentable but when we arrived they just had burgers and apps. The burger was delicious but the crab cake burger was very standard. I love this place and the ambiance though. I think covid just made it hard to maintain the standard dinner menu.
Wonderful time celebrating my birthday with friends and family...even during COVID precautions.
Drinks were great, service was average and food was a little too salty, but otherwise a good experience.
Great atmosphere, I ordered the chicken schnitzel while my husband got the pasta. Food was good, not as outstanding as I was hoping for. Noise from the street can be a bit much even though we were inside. Service was a bit slow at first. I'd come back for drinks and a show. Dinner itself I think I'll go somewhere else first.
Its was ok I had to send my steak back it was nasty they took cream of mushroom and just pour it over the steak and it was cold.i order a bottle of red wine it was hot had to asked for ice .
Outdoor seating under the bridge makes for a great view and good people watching. Our server was just the right mix of friendly and attentive ... joking with us without being overbearing while meeting all our service needs. We started with the beet salad (good) and mushroom toast (really good) followed by the seafood risotto (good) and the ribs (really good). We have eaten inside in the past and that also has a really good ambience and vibe. Great casual place to have fun and eat good food.
Great service and well spaced it patio atmosphere. Limited food menu that was average, but the atmosphere and service made up for it
Food was disappointing overall. Bland and meager portions. Extremely expensive, poor value.
Everything was perfect. Staff was very accommodating during these pandemic times, food came out not rushed or slow and the food was delicious
We went to LaPeg because of restaurant week, let me start there.
The menu was limited that was no problem because I expected that.
I ordered the pork belly appetizer, my husband ordered the arugula salad.
His salad was good, however my pork belly was very tough and nit very well seasoned. I question if it was even pork belly. It seemed more like a country pork chop.
We both ordered the 8oz. Strip Steak. There was a lot of discussion on how we wanted
it cooked, it was decided that medium would be the way to go. They both came way over cooked. So, it was disappointing. They were out of creme brulee so we ordered the flourless brownie and the lemon water ice. The brownie was good but the water ice was outstanding and they make it there. Very lemony, not too sweet and just the right amount of tart. I feel bad writing a somewhat bad review considering what has happened to the restaurant industry because of Covid but there definitely needs improvement. The waitstaff was very professional and so was management. I would recommend LaPeg because of ambience, it has a nice vibe. I think if you stick to more pub type of food it might be a better fit.
The drinks were good but the food was not that great. The steaks were bland and the sides were as well except for the mash potatoes. Wish the steaks had more flavor. The desserts were too much and were not made up to par.
It was just perfect! The food, host and waiters, and the ambiance! I honestly fell in love and will be back soon! I can’t express in words how satisfied I was!
Everything was perfect especially the water ice desert
Train riding by was a little noisy
Great customer service and view, will definitely come back!
Horrible just sums up the whole experience never again
The food was premade/frozen. The drinks are premade. Outdoor dining is not pleasant because of the noise from the highway and the train tracks.
Honestly, as was so excited to come eat here so I was highly disappointed with how my meal turned out. We came for resturant week and usually restaurants pull out some amazing things for these menus so that you will come back again. Apparently that was not the case here. Basically everything here was flavorless, except for the dessert. Ribs, mac and cheese, steak, truffle fries all were bland and made me actually hate my meal. I was forcing myself to eat as not to waste my money and struggling to get through the meal only thing my friend and I like was the pork belly. It tasted as if it came from a different restruant. Night and day from the rest of the food. Overall, would I ever come back... probably never...
Always fantastic, great food, great service!
Great time. Being on Columbus Blvd it was very noisy.
We sat outside next to a dumpster and it smelled so bad we had to leave.
The server was awesome and kind. The steak was not kind and tough.
The food was delicious, no complaints. We had went for restaurant week. There was a party of 4. 20% gratuity was tacked onto our bill. Didn’t think it was fair that it was based off the taxed price, and seems a little bit like a rip off. We left a tip that was essentially over a 30% tip. Not that we have a problem tipping, but that should be our choice. Especially since we only had a party of 4. Probably won’t be coming back.
Best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time! I will definitely be back. Feels good to spend money somewhere that’s worth every penny. No complaints.
Food was super slow
Waiter was great
Appetizer was delicious and came quickly but entrees did not come after 1 hour + so we left
