Great place and outstanding food! Lovely place. The pasta was great and they offer us a Proseco for their first year celebration.
The surfaces of this restaurant are all HARD and it's incredibly noisy - the service is ridiculous, disorganized and unprofessional. Food is mediocre - good for the area if it was served professionally. The lack of organization is seriously concerning. I will never go back
I was disappointed by the midtown location -- the food was not as good as the NoMad location. The A/C was also out in the restaurant on Wednesday night so we sat outside which was fine, but unpleasant for those sitting inside.
The Hostess was very kind in accomodating with a last minute changes on the reservation. She also helped our group a lot since our server was a bit all over the place.
Food is a solid 4 out of 5, I wish they just turn up the AC a little bit higher to make us comfortable eating.
The service was rushed. We sat at 6:30pm. Ordered food by 6:45pm (after first ordering drinks and taking our time reviewing the menu.)
Our shared appetizer (meatballs) arrived 5 minutes at 6:50pm. They were delicious as was the sauce they were in. The bus boy came over exactly 5 minutes later, while food was still on our plates and asked if we were done. We were not. In fact we asked for more bread to dip in the sauce because it was so delicious. He came back with the bread and told us that our entrées were ready and asked if he could bring them out. yet. It was now 7:00pm. We literally had ordered only 15 prior and our main courses were being pushed out.
We told him we were not ready for our main courses and to please hold them. He didn’t listen. They made room on the table for our main courses (2 pasta dishes.)
My friend’s dish (tagliatelle with shrimp) was luke warm at best. The air conditioning vent vent above our table quickly made both dishes cold, despite us repeatedly asking them to turn it down. We were told it was the n a timer they couldn’t control.
Food was good but very overpriced, rushed and the service was horrible.
Excellent meal. Excellent service.
Will definitely be back again.
Always love this place. The lunch price fixe is generous and the service is always exceptional. The olive oil cake is a must
I always wanted to try this place and finally did and I’m glad I did. Very testy food and they carry one of my childhood drink, gazzosa. I had the garganelli with wild mushrooms, it was creamy and testy. I will go back to try out some of the other dishes.
My friends birthday lunch.
We enjoyed our first visit so much that we went back a second time. Staff are friendly and efficient and food tasty.
I wanted to eat here after having had a great meal at the downtown location. We ate outside and it was a lovely ambiance. The food cam quickly and was well-prepared. We continually received food for other tables and one person received the wrong entree. The service component needs work
Good came out cold. Twice.
Very good new restaurant on 2 nd Avenue. Lively crowd.
We loved their perfectly cooked aldente pasta. Good quality food and cheerful environment.
The food was good and the service was excellent but it was incredibly noisy and overpriced for a plate of pasta, half a salad and a glass of wine...
Excellent food and ambience. Can’t wait to return.
We have been going to this location since it opened and we love it. The food is consistently good. Service is friendly. This time we we took family with us and went as a group of 6. Everything was fantastic. If I have to pick highlights, the farro salad and the arancini are my favorite appetizers. And the garganelli pasta is amazing. Every dish was delicious. Our server was wonderful. We are so happy to have La Picora Bianca in our neighborhood.
love LPB so much!!
We were at La Pecora Bianca for breakfast and were very pleased. I'd love to go back for other meals as well. The atmosphere is very nice - clean, fresh, and modern.
The food is very good, but the noise level & general tumult are punishing. Also, the prices are too high, given the amateur service.
Friend back in town
The food was delicious and our server was amazing!
Great food and nice ambiance but avoid it at dinner time if you are looking to carry a conversation.
Out family casual get together was powered by a complimentary slice of the ever outstanding Olive Oil cake!
A total surprise! We had a great time!
Good food. Pretty pricey.
Food was just servicable. My appetizer was grilled peaches and stracchino -- my favorite cheese. They seemed to have re-heated the peaches on top of the cheese, which yielded a mushy, curdled mess. The service was friendly and attentive.
The maître d' welcomed us warmly and immediately assisted us to our table. We had a lovely, spacious booth in the corner where we enjoyed great food and great company.
Great food, great service. I really enjoyed my time here!
Great food! Service was fantastic!!!
Liked the restaurant, the food was good with healthy portions. The one thing I did not like was that my waiter would tell us about a dish or wine and then immediately tell us the price of it. I know how to read a menu and know how to read prices, it definitely made me a bit weirded out.
Service was just a bit lacking - we had a bottle of white wine which was not on our table. had to flag the waiter down to get refills.
Plates left too long after finishing. It was very busy that night.
Very Good place for a business meal to talk with s colleague. it was day time and indoors wss bright. Grest fixed price menu. I had arancini bolognese (a meal by itself!) and a pollo panini (i took half home for later.) washed down with a spritz and some pellegrino and finished with a dopio espresso. seevice was perfect! I'll be back next week!
Food was delicious! Some of the best spaghetti I ever had. My dad thoroughly enjoyed his swordfish. The ambiance was lovely and the staff was very friendly and attentive.
Delightful interiors, superb food, attentive service. What’s not to love! Great for a family meal, a get together with friends yet intimate enough for ‘date night’. A fabulous addition to the neighbourhood. Highly recommended.
The accompaniments came out when we were done eating our main course.
Our waiter Jimmy was the absolute best. He had an extensive knowledge of the entire food and drink menu and made our Birthday celebration amazing simply with his personality and vibe. Go eat here. Get Jimmy as a waiter. You shan’t be disappointed!
Wonderful evening starting with a terrific Negoni cocktail followed by Heirloom caprese and a fabulous tagliatelle and ending with gelato/sorbet and cappuccino . Service was exceptional. Can’t wait until the next time
Love. Love. Love
Good atmosphere but noisy. We enjoyed a reunion of old friends for lunch on a Saturday at 1pm. The food was good-especially the Orcata and the Mista appetizer. Wine seemed overpriced but it is NYC. Would definitely visit again.
