Food was outstanding, ambiance and decor are amazing, service is very attentive, and prices are decent by nyc standards! One of my favorite nyc restaurants now - I will definit you be back!
La Pecora Bianca is one of my favorite restaurants to go to for an outstanding Italian meal. From the focaccia, to the melt in your mouth burrata salad, to, well all of the pastas and so much more, there just has not been one mediocre dish. And wait, the Brunch is out of this world, with ricotta lemon pancakes, in forno baked eggs and roasted potatoes. I can't forget to mention the friendly and courteous staff. One waiter in particular, Yerry, who has worked there since inception, is absolutely the most pleasant I have ever had the pleasure to encounter. I highly recommend this wonderfully, delightful, delicious treasure.
Had been searching for simple authentic italian food following spending time there. The tagliatelle is the closest imitation to the dishes I had in Emilia-Romagna. Would love to come back.
Fab on all levels!
It was Restaurant week ordered from that menu plus added extra apps from regular menu. Every single item phenomenal and we know food as travel to Italy often. They have the food and service down to a science. Want to know who the chef is. Impressive!
The best new (ish) restaurant I have been to in years. And we eat out 3-4 timed per week.
Love ❤️ such a gem 💎 I would go back and back and back, but I live a bit far away. It’s such a great addition to the neighborhood and the menu is sophisticated but not intimidating.
Enjoyed this restaurant but the noise level interferes with enjoyment.
Service is good but almost too fast. We did not experience a sense of relaxed dining.
Excelente sitio para cenar, todo exquisito y un tremendo servicio.
Very slow service. Charged for an extra dessert.
Amazing food creations that were delectable!
Delicious! And so pretty! We loved it all...apps, wine, entree, dessert!
Great neighborhood spot! Nice decor, wonderful food and service, upbeat atmosphere!
We got seated at a table in the middle of heavy traffic but they were nice enough to move us elsewhere (and the table we had did not get assigned for the 2 hours we were there). Noise level is something else but I get this is New York style. Great food and service however not a place to have a nice romantic discussion with your spouse.
Nice addition to mid town east. Good ambience although when the restaurant is full it is very noisy. Great home made Pasta and sauces .
I was told that they do not serve restaurant week.
However, the opentable says they do serve.
The server is terrible. I go to the restroom and he took all my beverage stuff away and leave me an empty table. The next desk guest just put his stick onto my seat.
The food is just fair. Some bacon and cheese with the noodles. A bit too salty.
We were greeted with a warm welcome, and seated right away. The service and food was stellar.
Good for midtown location.
Excellent food and excellent service. Will definitely return.
I have enjoyed dining there on several occasions, brunch, lunch and dinner. The one thing that I am not fond of is the noise level. It's hard to have a conversation without 'speaking up' to your dinner partner(s). Lunch and brunch is not so hectic.
Table wasn't ready for 35mins after our reservation time.
It was great
Delicious food, fantastic service and gorgeous setting. Our only complaint was the noise. Tables are very close together and it was noisy and hard to hear each other.
This was my first time at this restaurant that opened in my neighborhood a few months ago. A friend and I had lunch there and were very pleased with the quality and preparation of the food. Our server was very pleasant and the meal was well timed. I will return soon for dinner and hopefully an evening meal that exceeds the very good lunch I enjoyed. I definitely recommend La Pechora Bianca!
We had a great lunch/brunch! They were a little slow on refills of the bottomless drinks, but one of our servers made up for it! I was disappointed with my frittata...very dry and no cheese to be tasted. But my friends ordered pasta dishes which were great!
Great food; great staff. We were late but they quickly accommodated us. Apparently the man who packed our food to go spilled my pasta; they gave me an entirely new meal to go. ( not necessary but the pasta was even better the next day!)
Food en service were very good. But huge spoiler was the overwhelming noise. No conversation possible. Do something about the acoustics.
Excellent food. Very crowded. Recomend to make reservations.
Food and service are always spot-on. It was a welcome addition to the area and has quickly become our favorite go-to neighborhood restaurant.
Food was awesome.
Loved the space. Loved the food. And even loved some of the attentive service. Where it falls short is when it takes FOREVER to get drinks. Is that a Manhattan thing? Cause at home we pour drinks REALLY quickly. Hmmmm. We WILL return (second chances are always appropriate). And we’d recommend for shur... Just be prepped. More to come La Pecoria.
La Pecora Bianca was such a nice Italian restaurant for a date night. Well-priced and amazingly delicious, we had the best time here!
This was unexpectedly disappointing in a very big way. The service was awful and actually they rotated three servers over our 2 hour dining time. One of the reasons for my surprise is at the Broadway location is far superior both food and service-wise.
I would never come back here !
Overpriced for what you’re getting- our waitress presented us a pasta dish special of the day (sounded delicious) the other pasta dishes on the menu were between $20-$28 so we didn’t even think it ask the price of this one. This particular special (no meat) ended up being $45 when we got the bill!!! I found it really terrible that a waitress wouldn’t mention the price of a special if it’s more than 2X as much as a similar dish on the menu.
I really wouldn’t even go here for just drinks...they are charging more than a typical overpriced NYC restaurant. You’re better off spending the money at a true UES staple JoJo, EastPole or Bella Blu.
Staff was extremely attentive and the food was amazing. Definitely a must try.
While appetizers were ok, all 4 main dishes were quite disappointing.
Too noisy, service was poor the ambience is ok but too nosy if you want to talk..... good this time not as good as when they opened..... would like to have choice of half orders on the pasta.
The food and service was fantastic!! Definitely going back!!
Delicious food - great service!
