Located in NoMad and Midtown, La Pecora Bianca, which means "the white sheep" in Italian, offers a relaxed, all-day dining experience and vibrant Italian fare in a beautiful setting. We take Italian food back to its roots as an inherently local and seasonal cuisine with an approachable menu emphasizing vegetables and house-made pastas. True to Italian tradition, we source food from our local bounty whenever we can and let the ingredients shine in every dish. Our pastas, including our signature gramigna with sausage and broccolini and tagliatelle with beef and pork bolognese, are all made with local, organic grains. Our produce and meats are often sourced from the Hudson Valley & surrounding farm areas. Our extensive selection of spritzes and negronis are made with Italian amari, inspired by the tradition of aperitivi. La Pecora Bianca is open for breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner, so we've designed our restaurants to allow for the seamless transition from day to night.

Great food and pretty place. Waiter visited only to drop the check. No water. Very disappointed in service.

Bright and open restaurant! Everything was great except we felt rushed. Was not told specials and the 2nd course was sent to the table before we completed our first. The food was delicious and I would definitely go back again.

Our server did not seem pleased to work our table but luckily food was wonderful and we had a lovely dinner after a long day of work.

There are so many great restaurants in NYC don’t see what the fuss is all about for this restaurant. Would certainly not recommend as a “must” restaurant to visit. Will skip on our next trip.

I love everything about this restaurant..... from the ambiance, service, wel trained respectful and accommodating staff to the limited but delicious food. Homemade pasta will be next on my list to try and you can mix and match add-ons to suit your palate. My friend and I had the shared both the kale salad and the scrumptious scallops-a definite to have!! There was a slip up with the way the wine option was presented and the waiter was immediately apologetic and offered to adjust the bill immediately!!!!

This restaurant is great for any occasion. They even have a small private room in the back that can seat approximately 15 people comfortably. I sat in there on Mother’s Day and it was really nice.

Children are welcomed, but I wouldn’t recommend it for everyone’s sake-it’s more upscale and when dining you want to do just that. We went on the early side so it was still quiet but noise level is good.

Sleek and classy look ...... a definite yes!!! I’m looking forward to frequenting this beautiful restaurant ❤️❤️👍👍👍M

The waiter was absolutely atrocious and the food was incredibly slow. They did not refill waters, did not offer bread nor did they apologize at all for the amount of time it took to bring our food. One member of our party did not receive their meal until roughly 10-15 minutes after everyone else had been served (this is after waiting a significant amount of time for our food to even come). The waiter then brought an unitemized bill. When we asked for an itemized bill we questioned why they were charging us for the persons meal that arrived at the end of our lunch. Without apology the waiter simply said “Yes, we are charging you”. This was an appalling experience and we will not be returning.

3rd visit. This time disappointed with the food and service. Restaurant was not full but service was slow for a business lunch.
Chicken milanese was small and dry.
Waiter not very attentive.

If in the neighborhood, this is a good option that's a nice fits nicely between bar-type places and super high end. Only concern is it felt very touristy. Space is open and airy and food was good, fairly priced. Would not venture here though if not already in the neighborhood

My husband and I love to experience new restaurants in our neighborhood. La Pecora Bianca has been on our radar since we watched it being constructed.
We were sat at a table for two that was just slightly smaller then your average table for two. It was obvious from there wine list that they were encouraging
Wine by the glass. If you want bread you have to request it, which isn’t necessarily a negative. Our bread was served in a paper bag. We watch other tables being served their bread on a plate. Hmmm very curious. We shared the octopus appetizer, it was excellent. For our main course we both ordered the sea scallops. The presentation was lovely, the flavors delicious, the count lame. There were three scallops hidden amongst cauliflower. I told my husband that there were only three scallops on my plate, he countered with “I have four on mine” which was quickly changed to “ never mind it’s a pice of cauliflower, I only have three also”
There is portion control and then there’s just down right out and out unexceptionable. Three sea scallops do not a dinner make. We did not stay for dessert, but stopped at our favorite pastry shop on our way home and enjoyed it on our balcony.

Unfortunately this restaurant is hit or miss. You could have a good experience or a mediocre experience depending on server and chef that night. Our experience last night Monday was the latter. Restaurant is really loud and some tables are much better than others. It will continue to be successful while there is nothing else similar in the neighborhood.

Excellent pasta. Excellent starters. Slow service. Very slow to get water, then drink orders another 5 min or more later. Drinks did not arrive until after we had finished starters. Later on, our waiter periodically looked towards our table and our empty drinks, and did not offer to replenish. Odd.

Went for a family dinner. Food was average and very pricey. Noise level is very high so it's extremely hard to hear each other without talking very loudly. Also they play music fairly loudly which makes it even harder get your conversation across.

There was only a prixe fixe menu because of mother's day - I wasn't there with my mom, and this was my oversight, but it was still a bummer that you couldn't order a la carte. That said, the food was great! Our waiter took a little while to get to us but once he did he was very attentive. Atmosphere is very family-friendly.
