Located in NoMad and Midtown, La Pecora Bianca, which means "the white sheep" in Italian, offers a relaxed, all-day dining experience and vibrant Italian fare in a beautiful setting. We take Italian food back to its roots as an inherently local and seasonal cuisine with an approachable menu emphasizing vegetables and house-made pastas. True to Italian tradition, we source food from our local bounty whenever we can and let the ingredients shine in every dish. Our pastas, including our signature gramigna with sausage and broccolini and tagliatelle with beef and pork bolognese, are all made with local, organic grains. Our produce and meats are often sourced from the Hudson Valley & surrounding farm areas. Our extensive selection of spritzes and negronis are made with Italian amari, inspired by the tradition of aperitivi. La Pecora Bianca is open for breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner, so we've designed our restaurants to allow for the seamless transition from day to night.

Taste of food was perfect. Crowd made up of young professionals. Music is quite loud, but the ambience requires it. Service was great and quick.

I really like Pecora Bianca. The food is really good. The staff is really nice. They are tolerant of strollers. It's a great, fresh looking and tasty spot.

Restaurant chic looking. Thought would be terrific addition to neighborhood. BUT IT IS VERY NOISY! Nothing to absorb sound (obviously owners want it that way) and we wouldn't
return if we want to have a good conversation. Had Pasta which was excellent but portion SMALL and WINE EXPENSIVE. Waiter asked when taking order if we wanted glass and 1/2. Without asking price, my husband said OK. Charge was $24 per glass and 1/2 which we thought was very high. Was so looking forward to bright new restaurant in neighborhood...we need something inviting in Turtle Bay area...Pecora Bianca could be that special place if sound absorbers were added, pasta portions increased, a few lower priced wines added to list and wait staff directed to be more informative.

Our diner at La Pecora Bianca was amazing !! The house made pastas are delicious. Our favorite was the gramigna and the gnudi. Staff is attentive and nice. The ambiance from the design to the playlist is a 5 stars too. We will be back !

Called ahead to let them know we were running late, and got voice message, so they gave our seats away. We sat at a row of seats by the bar and it is so noisy you cannot have a conversation. So if you want to go there and just stare at your partner it is good for that. We ordered a 2nd beer and it took nearly 20 minutes for it to show. This is the 2nd time I visited and both times the waiters were too busy to follow through.

A good option in midtown, the pasta was very yummy but not hot enough.

The pricing of their wine in a tiny decanter is absurd at $26. Said it is a glass and a half. Barely a glass. Their pricing of a small plate of pasta bolognese way overpriced. Fish tiny piece is overpriced. I could go on but not worth my time.

First time at this restaurant. Service was slow; wait person had many tables. Place was very noisy. People next to us were very loud. Food was excellent. Would have liked to have been told about the menu as pasta dishes are truly a small serving.

The ambiance and food at La Pecora Bianca is fantastic! I'm thrilled that this location has opened up near my apartment. The hostess was wonderful, even when I realized I had made the reservation for 5 instead of 6- she was incredibly accommodating and helpful! Though, our waiter (a tall man with curly brown hair), was absolutely terrible- despite the restaurant being relatively quiet. He couldn't answer most of our questions, or just didn't respond at all. He neglected to bring us napkins when asked- our table had none when we sat down and we were left to take them off of other tables. When asked for lemon, he ignored us, and when asked again never brought it. I was left going up to the bar to get it myself (the bar staff is fantastic, by the way). In the end, he did not bring all of our receipts as we were splitting the check, I couldn't get his attention, even yelling across the restaurant at one point and running to try to grab him before he disappeared into the back. Another lovely waitress helped us. All this being said, I do love La Pecora Bianca!

Nice, airy, sunny dining room. Food was not bad but many other places just as good/better. Service was very disorganized. Took quite awhile for first contact & throughout the meal we had different servers and various items were messed up / forgotten. When I tried to find out who was "our" server I was told "we use a team". Like all else in life, when there's not someone specific to be accountable, things just don't go well

This is my new favorite restaurant. I come from Chicago and dream for the day they open here. I came here the second night I was in New York with my friend and the the food came out fast and was incredible. My appetizer, the butternut squash carpaccio, just topped my list of best things I’ve eaten in my life. My friend’s burrata was amazing and she ordered the roast chicken both times because it was so juicy and well seasoned. The first night I had a pasta dish with sausage and broccolini which was amazing, and the kale salad I had the second time we went (it was so good we had to go back on our last night) was amazingly simply and delicious. I was blown away by the incredible service and speed of the service as well. Our waiter, Abigail, was simply amazing and probably the best waiter I’ve ever had. Lastly, the rosé is amazing. Definitely the best I’ve ever had and as it is specific to the restaurant, must be enjoyed while you are there. The desserts we had both nights were also amazing. PLEASE GO HERE, you will not be dissapointed.

Hostess was terrible. Waiter was very very good. The food was almost very good. I say almost because in one of our appetizers, the hen of the woods, the mushroom itself (the star ingredient) was kind of bland. The only thing that saved it was that it was sitting on a bed of something yellow that was delicious; and one of the main entrees, the house made pappardelle pasta, tasted really good but was way too salty and that’s coming from someone who likes salt.

I was served the wrong dish and one of friends requested her pasta be "non al dente"; it remade exactly the same way. Non traditional Italian food - no Calamari or normal Antipasti, mainly vegatables, meats and cheese.

Small portions of pasta with microscopic ingredients sound better on the menu than they taste.
Interesting appetizers.
Wines by the glass and bottle are more expensive than the noisy, bistro atmosphere warrants.
Uncomfortable chairs do not encourage lingering.

The waiter serving our table bumped into my chair a quote a few times despite the fact that i was sitting in a spacious place. He could have at least apologized. He is as clumsy as it gets. Spilled cheese on my jeans. Nothing special to regarding service. The food was good but at the end of the day I was there with my friends to have a good time and it was not comfortable at all.

In a city with lot's of noise on the streets, restaurants should be a haven.
A lot are noisy because of a full room. This one of the nosiest restaurants we ever ate in.
Could not hear a single word of anyone's conversation.
Also a outrageous wine list. Maybe it could fit into a fine top rated restaurant, but not here.
Food is second rate.
Maybe good for breakfast or lunch when not crowded.
Pretty room. Too bad

Appetizers were excellent. However, the pasta special recommended by the server was almost inedible due to the heavy butter sauce.

A great place for lunch and dinner with great service and excellent food. The interior of the restaurant is very nice, friendly and fresh. The have a good selection of food, drinks and deserts with prices that are reasonable and gives a lot of value for money. I can really recommend this place for business and pleasure.

The restaurant is loud..... like, very loud. The service is pretty good. Our waiter was fantastic! I had the gramigna which was delicious and the aperol spritz was refreshing and bubbly.

I had wanted to surprise my husband with a little note on our dessert which I had made a note of in my reservation... but that never happened.

All in all a good night and I would go back

The food was pretty good. Apps and salad were great. Brussels Sprouts and sides on the swordfish were VERT GREASY though. The waiter never asked how the food was though, so I wasn’t able to tell him that. I mean... it’s good enough to go to but don’t expect anything fantastic on a busy weekend. A little overpriced but fine

Was recommended by friends who really like it and La Pecora Bianca was all they said it would be, plus more. Very friendly and professional service with good knowledge of the food and wine. Our waiter patiently answered all of our questions and listened carefully, resulting in wonderful suggestions. Nice vibe without the tables being on top of each other.

This restaurant is a great addition to our neighborhood, the food is delicious, the décor is beautiful but they must improve on service. Wait time for a dish is at least a half hour, not enough staff to handle how busy the restaurant is.
