La Pecora Bianca - Midtown

We ordered 3 simple dishes, all pasta, and it took over an hour for our food to arrive. They sent a gelato for us to share to apologize, but they clearly just forgot to put in the order. Groups that arrived after us ate, paid and left before we got our dinner. It was ridiculous. The food was good when it did arrive. Hopefully it was an isolated issue
Everything was amazing! I would recommend this place!
Great food, beautiful location, very loud
Food was good. My pasta was lukewarm instead of hot. Jennifer the manager was nice abourt replacing it with a hotter one.
This was first time I was disappointed with my meal. I ordered penne with spicy arrabiata sauce. The sauce was laced with thinly sliced carmelized onions. The sauce was made too sweet by these onions. Someone decided to add their personal touch to a very easy and traditional dish which is what I wanted. I’m guessing the cook was or is not classically trained to cook true Italian food. The meatballs were good and that sauce was tastier and better. I hope you can train your cooks to stick to traditional Italian cooking otherwise it’s more of a fusion restaurant which can be good just not with some pasta dishes.
Service was poor. Portions were very small and camoflouged by cheaper ingredients
First time here. Really liked it. Will come back and recommend to others.
Food was fresh, and tasty. Service was superb.
Food was incredible! Maybe the tastiest pasta dish I have had. Food came to our table quickly.
Service was inattentive. Waiter gave us very little attention because we weren’t big spenders. Restaurant was loud. We spent more time waiting for the check than we did eating.
Visit for amazing food, but be prepared for poor service.
Neighborhood gem - also good for business meetings.
Very disappointing brunch. Poor service and food. Very hot in the restaurant and the waitress hated serving our children who were seated on a different table.
Food, service and menu was excellent. It was very very hot despite the A/C functioning.
Everything was excellent except for the noise level. They need to do something about soundproofing the ceiling so you can hear yourself speak, But other than that, it was excellent.
Great food and cocktails. Kid friendly and not too loud. We were running late and there was no issue accommodating.
Awesome iced cocoa and iced cappuccino! Fresh, home made spaghetti were to die for!
Inside very loud. Moved outside good mive
Service spotty but friendly. Pasta oversalted but tasty. Wine by glass expensive. Would try again.
Tasty reasonably priced food for NYC. The papardelle with lamb was delicious as was the tagiatelle with mushrooms.
Service was great. Wine was tasty & pasta was delicious
It was pretty loud - lots of kids. Service was kind of disappointing. Never asked us if we wanted another drinks, didn't bring us bread basket, didn't ask us if we wanted anything after our meal. Food was good, just overall disappointed with service.
Great food and service
Ordered brunch - steak and eggs - steak was fatty and over cooked... 2 tries still could not eat most of the steak, all fat. Rest of the food was very good across 3 other entrees and appetizer. Overall good place, just one bad entree. However, service is inconsistent... slow to respond to issues
Very hot in the restaurant
The pasta dishes are really tasty! Appetizers are also recommended.
Food was just average. Good enough but nothing special
The AC could have been stronger. Food was good and unfussy
The front door staff could have been more friendly. The waiter was lovely.
Delicious! Cute lunch spot . The cacio e Pepe is out of this world.
Amazing food, service and drinks. Staff does not rush you after your meal is finished.
Would definitely go back and recommend to all.
While I would recommend the restaurant I would only recommend to go during “off hours”- do an early lunch or super late dinner- the noise level is so high we had to shout across the table- to pay such prices and to not be able to converse comfortably with your seat mates ( at a small table of four!!) is tough to swallow.
Delicious food, beautiful experience, will return again and again!
Good food, good service, noise level too high, sometimes it is difficult to talk
La Pecora Bianca offers an excellent value with a hip atmosphere in Midtown Manhattan. We enjoyed an unrushed late lunch. The salad was fresh and tasty and the salmon was perfect. The lattes and espresso were very good, as was the friendly and attentive service.
Food was very good and table service was good, however, kitchen service was extremely poor. As an aside, it would be nice if Open Table had voting sections for Table and Kitchen Service rather than role this up into Service. If they did I would give Kitchen Service a 1 and if lower numbers were allowed I would give it a -5. Our server kept telling us "Your food is coming, Your food is coming" - so is Christmas! No excuse for such an exorbitant delay when The Smith, which is close by, handles a lot more customers and provides very good food and Table Service and the Kitchen always gets the food our promptly. Although we have been to La Pecora Bianca a number of times this was our last. Will never return!
Over-all fabulous- from the food to the service to the ambiance! Thank you for a wonderful night!
Was wonderful as usual! A great neighborhood restaurant with fabulous food. Never disappoints! Everything on the menu is so good. And a great wine selection too, reasonably priced. And the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Love this restaurant!!
Great service and food. But really really noisy.
Great service, ambiance and food! Really enjoyed it.
Excellent pasta dishes. Friendly waitress & VG support staffers.
Outdoor seating, nice restaurant-brand rose, outstanding pasta, including a special, reasonably priced, friendly knowledgeable service...we'll...be...BACK!
Very bad service. Food was cold.
