Great for brunch!
I was looking for a nice place with great Italian food on a Friday night with friends. We loved our server and he was knowledgeable for our food request. I would go back and recommend to others. Enjoy
The food was excellent. Portions were slightly small for the price, but otherwise I was completely happy with the experience.
Best place for business and fun lunches. Delicious food, friendly service and light atmosphere.
It’s very nice at lunchtime. Not as crowded as dinner time. The food was delicious. Looking forward to a return visit.
Good food and great service. Downside was one dish our party of 4 had (Gramigna) which was on the bland side and the pasta was overdone. Every other dish was outstanding. Personally, while the atmosphere is very energetic, I found it too noisy to have a decent conversation and was pleased the restaurant started to empty at about 9:30 (it was a Monday night).
Everything was great!
Friend get together
We were here for my father's 60th birthday and arrived early to put a birthday cake in the fridge for desert. After our meal the waiter gave us the check, seeming as if he wasn't informed that we had a birthday cake.
My father's birthday surprise was ruined because we had to ask for our cake, after he already paid for the meal. To make things worse, we waited 15 minutes for the cake to be served AND the manager snuck a $35 cake cutting fee into the new bill despite the whole surprise / mood being ruined.
I didn't make a stink about it at the restaurant because it was my father's birthday, but that was a very low class move. If this is the kind of treatment to be expected for special occasions, I'll take my family out to eat elsewhere
Always a better place than the next doorbfactory called Smith. This is a beautiful resto with more refined menu and patrons and nicely decked out and better service. Brussel sprout is the best ever, though other brunch dishes are always reliable.
We had an awesome waitress! Food was great!
The food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was perfect. This restaurant is one of my favorites on the upper east side. I would highly recommend it; you won’t be disappointed.
This was a great dining experience from the time we spent waiting at the bar got the rest of our party until the time we walked out the door. The food was delicious, the drinks were generous and the service was beyond outstanding. I can’t wait to return.
Completely fine restaurant. The food and service is pretty mediocre, but the prices are reasonable
Lovely little spot in Midtown for delicious homemade pasta. The service was exceptionally attentive and patient, even when it took us a long time to decide what to order. I love the cozy booths for a group of 5-6. I ordered the mushroom pasta (don't remember the name) and we got broccolini and brussel sprouts to share for the table. I eat mostly vegetarian and there were tons of good options. I think about half the menu was vegetarian or pescatarian! The desserts were delicious so make sure to save room!
Waiter was amazing; I would return more so for the service than the food.
Delicious. Liked it much better than their other location.
We got there early because we were seeing a show. Very uninformed about the wine list. There were five Barolo wines and when I asked the difference between (except for price) the server said the more expensive one was more “full-bodied” (at three times the price). I order the 2nd least expensive and it was great. Food was good. Decent value for New York but service was average. It makes a huge difference.
Smart restaurant , good food and service.
Been here twice during my stay in NYC
On Saturday evening a bit noisy but acceptable
The service in accurate and the waiters friendly
I recommend it
Didn’t love the $5 per slice cutting fee for a cake. The cutting fee was more than the cake. Just rude and annoying
Food was a amazing! Waitress was great! Waited about 20 min even with a reservation, I think they overbook which sucks because the place and food is good!
Hostess isn’t the friendliest but overall it’s a good place, I would recommend it!
Definitely need a reservation.
The service was incredible.
Good food in a pleasant location
The service is fast and accurate
You can choose between meat or fish and delicious soups
Overall great experience! Amazing food, great service and awesome vibe
My friend said it’s the best gluten free pasta she’s ever had, and she was diagnosed with celiac over a decade ago (and was a major pasta lover before that). At one point felt a little pressured / judged for not ordering more wine and apps/sides (it was a quick pre-theater dinner on a slow night…), but overall a positive experience.
Came here for a New Years Brunch and the food was excellent - portions weren't huge but were filling and delicious.
Loved the authenticity of the Italian fare
The food is always fabulous (I’m partial to the whipped ricotta with truffle honey and the spaghetti and marinara), and the atmosphere is outstanding. Service was pretty good!
The food is always good here but it is a little noisy and the service is hit or miss. The meat balls are excellent and steak and eggs were delicious
The food is superb and the service is warm and genuinely friendly. I have been to La Pecora Bianca several times in the past year and every time it is delicious!
Pre fixe menu was extremely overpriced for what you get
We dined here on New Year’s Eve, so it wasn’t their usual menu. But it was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Cocktails were fabulous and the service was friendly and efficient. Will return.
Great spot for afternoon brunch. Easily accomodated our larger party . Very attentive service
It was great
Love their pasta! Our favorite Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. Great ambiance, great service, and delicious food!
Definitely one of our favorite restaurants for all occasions! We had holiday dinners there and even during an extremely busy time, with large parties and small - the service and food is wonderful!
We LOVED everything! We started with the whipped ricotta and zucchini fries - highly recommend. Then the arugula salad - divine! We each had a different pasta dish all outstanding!! Doesn’t matter what pasta you order ALL are equally yummy! Enjoy!!!
We were staying at a hotel around the corner and picked La Pecora Bianca because it was close by and looked nice, but also like a place you could wear jeans and bring kids. All of these impressions turned out to be accurate, but it was so much better than we were expecting. The food was excellent -- possibly the best brussels sprouts we've ever had, and even a simple dish like the bucatini was delicious. Everything we ordered was wonderful. Our kids loved it too. The staff was very friendly and warm. The restaurant was busy and a little tight space-wise, but I would say it was only moderately noisy. Noisy enough that when a young child at a nearby table started crying no one turned a head, but we could still all still hear each other talk without shouting. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.
Christmas Eve diver. Food was not as great as it is usually. Wish they had more of the favorite dishes. Pasta was super oily and that’s what we come for. Steak and potatoes were good and apps weren’t good but disappointed in the pasta. Next time we will not come on a holiday.
