My food came out cold. I sent it back and it camer out cold again. They offered to send it back again. By then everyone else was done eating. All the pasta dishes tasted as if they were sitting aroung for an hour.
They were nice enough to offer something else on the house, but everything was tasteless. Mass produced food.
This Pecora Bianca location has a great, bright, airy, casual chic atmosphere. Dinner at the bar is just as fun as in the main dining area. The Farrow Salad and the Graminga pasta are both favorite dishes- both are simple but unique. Wish they had more exciting vegetarian options on the menu, but overall most people can find something they like. The hostess is sometimes not as nice as she could be. Oh well. Food is good, wine is dependable too.
Excellent food, wonderful service.
Amazing service, amazing food. Would highly recommend!!!
Was recommended by friends for an uptown restaurant with a downtown vibe. Couldn't agree more. Plus the food was spectacular and the service was great! If you're looking for a quiet spot, this is not the place, very loud. But it did not bother us in the least. We will definitely be going back.
The kale salad was delicious. All of the people were friendly and interested in me as a patron. The atmosphere is very pleasant.
The food was delicious and we like the atmosphere, however the service was very slow. It took a long time before we even saw a waitress and then she disappeared again. We have been before and that wasn't the case. Perhaps they were short staffed -- not sure
Both the hostess and the food were cold. Waitstaff were fine and the room is pleasant but the stone-faced hostess and the cold eggs benedict will make me think twice before returning (and we live literally across the street).
Food and service is always great. More expensive than other places, but nice for a birthday dinner!
My guests and I were delighted with the imaginative offerings on the menu and the high quality of the preparation and the service.
Loved my First visit to La Pecora Bianca. We were greeted nicely by the hostess. Had a great table, knowledgeable server and amazing food. Loved the octopus appetizer, linguine with clams and the swordfish. We will definitely be back.
Negroni is excellent. Arancini was very good but the grilled octopus was very hard (I have never had this hard in any restaurant.) I tried Pork Milanese this time but it wasn't like I had in Italy. I should have ordered Pasta which is always good here.
Went for lunch, pasta dish and sandwich. Everything was very good, no issues, would come back.
Our waiter was busy but lovely and the gemigna was amaaazing
A lively environment with very good food (large variety of choices) and very good service.
Our server was very good. She understood our special requests and solved for that creatively. However the hostess was very rude. I arrived on time while my friend was late. I indicated to the hostess that I wanted to be seated regardless. Instead of seating me, she dealt with people behind me in line and made me wait for no reason. Then the seater person tried taking me to less desirable tables indicating that the tables I wanted were requested by others. I had to insist on the table I wanted and ate eventually relented. It was unbelievable!
This is a regular mid-range restaurant yet hosting acts like this is the most desirable eatery in the city. I suggest coaching for better customer service.
The food was good, wine was ok.
Wow! What a great experience at La Pecora Bianca. To my surprise, I got engaged the day we had reservations. We are from Austin, TX and came to NYC to celebrate my now fiance's birthday. He had planned the surprise with both of our parents in attendance and the manager (Amy) changed the reservation from 2 people to 6 with out me ever finding out. Our waitress Suzana was so kind and paid attention to every detail. Including a few complimentary surprises to celebrate the engagement and she recommended the perfect amount of food for all of us to share. They also were able to accommodate a friend of ours who lives in Denver who wanted to surprise us with a round of Aperol Spritz! A night I will never forget for many reasons, but finishing the night with a delicious dinner at La Pecora Bianca was the perfect cherry on top! We will return every visit to NYC not only because this restaurant is now very special to us, but also because the food was delicious and the service was top notch. Thank you!
The grilled octopus appetizer and scallops entree were very good. Service was top notch, our orders were taken promptly, plates were cleared quickly and we were given time to relax. A little noisy, but I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
I liked the food and cuisine, a bit noisy but a good experience overall
Love the restaurant but the noise level is becoming unbearable. I frequent the restaurant and will have to go at an earlier time. I won’t not go because I love it.
Our server was amazing! He took such good care of us - I apologize that I don't know his name but he was so much fun and made our team dinner more lovely than it already was, as well as providing very solid food recommendations. I had only been to the one in Flatiron but it's great to know that both locations have the same standards and high quality. Thank you!
A delight from start to finish!
It was good food and nice service.
Nice space, welcoming staff and good simple Italian food.
The waiter was wonderful! We had the tuna tartare as a start, the rigatoni and tagliatelle, Brussels sprouts, wine, and budino. Everything was great!
Great service and good food, but a tad too noisy for my liking
Nice friendly restaurant, conveniently located. Although it was busy we were seated only a few minutes after the reservation time. The staff were really helpful and the food good. There is not a great choice for younger diners but that’s clearly not their target audience. The wine list was fairly extensive but expensive (no real surprise for midtown Manhattan). Bill for 4 (2 children) came to over $230 but we did have main course, dessert and a bottle of wine.
Food was mediocre at best. They charged us for a birthday cake.. who does that? Overpriced and not that great. Go across the street.
Excellent food, great ambiance, professional yet friendly service. Highly recommended!
We’ve been coming here a couple times a month since they opened and this was disappointing. Brunch wasn’t great and prosciutto was bad.
Mother/daughter long weekend! This place was listed as one of the best places to eat in Midtown! It did not disappoint! The service was excellent and the food was delicious! Will come back here for sure!
We searched plenty of midtown restaurants for date night and ended up coming here. I am so happy we did. The food was just amazing and our server Ash was even better than the food. He was very attentive, pleasant and just nice without being pushy. Perfect job! The menu looks standard Italien but the quality and tasted is not standard at all. One of the best pasta dishes I had for a while. They also make the pasta themselves in a pasta station visible to clients.
The only super small downsize is that the tiramisu is just offered for a table of ~5-6 people. We ended up joking with the two tables next to us to order one tiramisu and split it as both couples had similar feelings of wanting a tiramisu but just not a huge sized one.
We dined with a group of 8 of us. The Midtown location sat us at a large rounded booth that was perfect for allowing conversation amongst the group. Everything we ordered was outstanding, our server was amazing and knew pretty much everything about everything on the menu. He provided perfect detail and his recommendations were solid. Every one of us ate every bite of our pasta dishes. Everything was fresh and delicious. Would recommend to others.
We had a wonderful dinner! I had the ravioli with crispy prosciutto and salted, it was amazing! Perfect balance of richness and salty! My husband had the tagliotelle and he thoroughly enjoyed it as well! The olive oil cake and an affogato finished our meal perfectly. Michael was a wonderful server with great suggestions.
We came back the next day for lunch and Matthew was our server. He was a lot of fun to talk with and also had great suggestions. The prosciutto panini was very good and we enjoyed another great meal! Great neighborhood gem!
One of my favorite spots in Midtown. I always enjoy the food and ambiance. Highly recommended.
The food was very good and great location. The only thing we would recommend is that the eggs on the different Benedict’s be hot, they were cold when we got them. The ricotta lemon pancakes were delicious!!!
Absolutely gorgeous space with delicious food, but the noise level is so loud it’s impossible to have a conversation without feeling like you’re yelling.
Loved it! What a special breakfast place this is!
