About La Panetiere
Owner Jacques Loupiac presents a taste of Provence at La Panetiere. The cuisine is contemporary french, and the dishes change with the season reflecting upon products purchased from market-gardeners, fishermen, free-range poultry farmers, and other purveyors who deserve the respect of their authentic products.

La Panetiere Ratings and Reviews
Very disappointing. Service was terrible. Had to get maître 'd attention to take order, they forgot our coffee - came after dessert - and it tasted awful. No one asked if everything was "Ok". Had to ask for check - long wait. Price for glass of standard Chardonnay wine -which only filled glass less than half full was way over-priced ($14).
The best thing was the soup, the entrée just Ok - wouldn't go back.
Extremely aggravating - they marked me as no-show to Open Table
For a recent birthday dinner the staff couldn’t have made it more enjoyable. Not just the “candle stuck in the dessert” routine, but other lovely birthday reminders. We were there during Restaurant Week and had that menu which was imaginative, well cooked and beautifully presented. Will go back for their regular menu. A well established traditional restaurant with a pretty French country ambience.
As always, a wonderful dining experience at La Panetiere. We celebrated my husband's birthday and the evening was above and beyond expectations. I had forgotten to order a birthday cake and of course, a beautiful one was served with dessert. It's a very special restaurant run by very special people.
This is a nice French restaurant in the neighborhood. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The ambience is elegant. The food is well presented, albeit the portion is relatively smaller. Overall it’s a very good venue for a quiet, intimate dinner or for special occasion.
Went for restaurant week. Pretty space. Food was good but my plate was hotter then my pork chop. the waiter did not explain the choice of desert to be offered. The cake that was included contained coffee and my wife is not a fan of coffee. would have been nice if she was notified in advance. Otherwise servers were attentive.
Enjoyed a lovely lunch during Restaurant Week. Outstanding service and menu options. Our group tried the duck, the salmon and I tried the pork chop. All delicious, beautifully presented and generous portions. The first course soup and salads were fantastic, but best of all was the dessert....an array of 'tasting' sizes of four different desserts.
We will be back for sure!
A perfect place. The restaurant was not full and they left an empty table between diners to keep the noise level low. Service was exceptional and the plating looked out of the finest magazine. I was sorry I did not take pictures. Three of us ordered from the Restaurant Week Menu and the last person ordered from the regular menu. Everyone was pleased. We find it as the best restaurant in Westchester.
We absolutely love this place and dine there whenever we have a Groupon. It is pricey so the Groupon ($85 for the Sunday-Friday) special menu is a very good value. The staff makes you feel as if you are part of the family and the food is always delicious and beautifully served. Our reservation was for an early dinner on Sunday so the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived but full by the time we left at approximately 7:30 (this isn't the place for a quick meal). When full the noise level is moderate. A place worth a visit for a special meal anytime or for a special occasion. (There was a group celebrating a birthday at the table next to us)
Mature d was not welcoming.
Lobster dish. Fried Zucchini flower was hard as a rock. not freshly made. One of the 3 lobster claws had cartilage still inside. Sloppy prep in fish Dept.
Souffle was under cooked. Overall good taste to this lobster dish. Lobster was cooked perfectly. Great sauce.
Overall a good experience. We arrived at 7:30 pm on a Saturday night and within a very short time the place filled up. This temporarily overwhelmed the waiters and so there was an overly long delay from being seated to taking our drink order. However they soon regained their tempo and service was good for the remainder of the evening. Both meals were excellent.
We have dined at La Panetiere for over 25 years. Since we have moved from NY, we still come back when we are in the area. The food and service is extraordinary as is the extensive wine list. We had the scallop and beet appetizers as well as the branzino and veal medallions entrees. All were plated nicely and were excellent.
WE HADN'T BEEN TO AN UPSCALE FRENCH RESTAURANT IN YEARS, SAW IT IN WESTCHESTER MAGAZINE. ONE COMPLAINT, WE HAD DISTINCTLY ASKED THE VERY POLITE, FRIENDLY MANAGER(?), THAT WE WEREN'T IN ANY RUSH...BUT THE MAIN COURSE CAME RIGHT AFTER THE APPETIZER PLATES WERE REMOVED FROM THE TABLE. NEXT TIME MY WIFE WILL LISTEN TO ME AS WE HAD DONE IN THE PAST WHEN WE ARE DINING, DO NOT ORDER THE MAIN COURSE TILL WE FINISH THE APPETIZERS. OTHERWISE IT WAS GOOD, WE WILL RETURN.
