Delicious - we love it there
My wife and I love this cozy French restaurant in Rye. We've had many anniversary dinners here. The food is terrific and the service is perfect.
Birthday celebration. Very attentive staff. Excellent food.
We are very much looking forward to going there again. I thought the food was delicious from the bottom of my heart. It was a very good birthday memory for me.
I reserved a table for two more than 2 weeks ago. This was a very special anniversary dinner. When we arrived last night, the hostess who didn’t seem at all happy in her job, wasn’t sure she had a table anywhere. She said so twice. She checked and there was a table in the very nice but very cold upstairs room. We were right next to a VERY noisy birthday party of 12. Nothing to be done by us but shouldn’t you give a group that size an event room? Our two appetizers came quickly. Our fish course arrived on time. We then waited well more than 30 minutes for the tenderloin course. As did other diners who arrived just minutes before we did. We listened to the accordion. We watched people dance. Finally, the tenderloin was served by a server and the manager (who we asked to speak to) who offered a free glass of wine. We don’t drink. As we left, our main server very thoughtfully explained that the kitchen was very short handed, only two cooks for more than 150 people. I know it was a busy night, but more than 30 minutes between courses? No good, no good at at all. I will say that the staff could not have been nicer throughout what turned out for us to be an ordeal.
Great value, outstanding food. Highly recommend La Panetiere
Cozy and good food under as what my expectations with most of the feedback and others recommended… service ok….
Very friendly staff, food was really good. Wrong dish was brought to us but they quickly fixed it.
Service wonderful. Greatly appreciate that they have a vegetarian menu! My husband loved his Dover sole
Dishes wonderfully prepared. Service is attentive to every detail. Result is an outstanding experience
Dinner and service were excellent except for the fig tart dessert which did not look or taste like a tart at all. The white, meringue-like center and bottom crust were tasteless. The figs placed on the top were very good. Overall, the dessert was disappointing, especially with the price of $20.00. The small complimentary desserts were excellent, which is usually the case at La Panetiere.
absolutely fantastic- food and service were awesome
Absolutely a lovely romantic restaurant with French perfection. I loved the attention to detail. Food is amazing. My husband is a chef, I expect a certain level of quality and La Panetiere delivered
Very good food outdoors on the terrace. Everything as it should be at a restaurant of this quality.
From the moment you walk in you feel like your in France. The food and the service is incredible. We did a tasting menu. Escargot, foie gra , Massachusetts skate. Duck, cheese course and soufflé for dessert. Wine parring with each course. Just all around a fantastic culinary experience.
Another wonderful dinner at this cozy French restaurant. Perfectly cooked scallops, beautiful presentation and peeress service mark this gem. Go! We'll be back soon.
Ambiance and service as outstanding as always. The meal was disappointing however. One entrée was not up to standard and was returned to the kitchen.
Beautiful setting. Service was excellent. Staff was very friendly and the food presentation was done very nicely. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they made sure we had a good celebration.
The best Father's Day gift for a foodie who hadn't been to a restaurant in a year. The special menu was as tempting as the regular menu, and as delicious. Our standbys--the escargot, the filet, the grand marnier souffle--all perfect. The little tastings included cheese straws to start, a beet salad with creme fraiche, and a lovely gazpacho. Wine list is extensive and we found a reasonable and delicious chardonnay. The coffee is absolutely wonderful--as was my herbal tea.
From the service to the food and the environment, it was spectacular. They just forgot to bring us the coffee. Right at the end of our meal the restaurant got busier and it was forgotten. It was still a beautiful meal and lovely evening. We will be back!
We haven't been back to this longstanding fine dining restaurant in a long time. We were so happy that it was as wonderful as always. The service was attentive and friendly, the food was wonderful. Two of us were celebrating birthdays and they made the meal feel very special. We sat on the outdoor patio on the second floor. It was lovely.
We always have an outstanding meal and experience here.
Wonderful brunch choices. Food was excellent on all counts. Wonderful service.
Excellent food and service in a very beautiful setting.
Having heard about La Panetiere for years, I thought it was about time to finally try it. It was my wife's and my 10th anniversary and we both could not have been more pleased with EVERYTHING. The service was perfect, ambiance (we were upstairs) great and the food ranked right up there with the best French we have ever had, including fine restaurants elsewhere in Westchester, as well as in Fairfield County and Manhattan. It was special - for a special occasion!
We were pleased to see that La Panatiere has returned to its pre-pandemic excellence. We have visited from time to time over two decades and are always enormously pleased.
Everything was perfect from start to finish. We mentioned going in it was our anniversary and waiting for us at our table was an anniversary card from the restaurant. We chose the tasting menu. Every course was delicious, perfectly and creatively presented. The service was excellent, we were not hurried, each course was timed beautifully. The wait staff was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The ambience lends itself to the diner having a romantic dinner for a special occasion or just a casual meal with their ala carte menu. We would rate it an A+ in every respect.
it was good to be back at La Panetiere. As usual, a treat. Food and level of service are pretty unmatched. We'll be back again... and again!
One of my favorite Westchester restaurants never disappoints! The Brunch is just fabulous and this time was no exception
The moment you walk through the door you feel truly welcomed! The food is just superb and the prosecco served at the Brunch was the best prosecco I have ever had at a prix fixed meal!
From start to finish you are sure to have a wonderful meal!
Best restaurant we know
We ate on the terrace: beautiful experience, as close to the south of France as you can get in. Westchester County. Delicious food and outstanding service. Well. worth it.
Carlos our server was phenomenal, and brunch was delicious.
La Panatiere in Rye is simply he most consistent, best food and service in Westchester County. The staff is outstanding, the presentation excellent, and all courses at the Brunch Service were outstanding.
My Wife’s birthday
Celebrated wedding anniversary, sitting on the beautiful outside deck. Nicely distanced. Great attention to service, we were served by four different people. When I asked to add a scoop of sorbet to my dessert lemon meringue pie they accommodated my request and didn’t even charge for the scoop of sorbet. We were not rushed and in fact remained for almost three hours enjoying the sunset and evening breeze, the bees pollinating the nearby tree, but not bothering us, and some cross chat with a table near ours. Not an inexpensive outing, but well worth the cost.
First rate dinner Four on a Saturday. From appetizer through desert could not have been better. Number of reasonably priced wines. Entrees at table were snapper, sole and sweetbreads (best preparation ever).
Every dish is made to perfection! I enjoyed the dover sole and my husband was delighted with the filet mignon. Our appetizers of split pea soup and fettucine were a big hit! And of course..the chocolate souffle is magnificent!
A lovely evening of dining!
Had the tasting menu with wine pairing. It was very enjoyable.
I particularly liked the salad at the beginning.
Sat indoors but the outdoor seating looked quite nice
Probably the best in Westchester. Every detail is perfect. They don’t miss a beat .
Everyone was professional, friendly, polite and made our experience top rate - and my mother's birthday celebration special. The food was delicious and beautifully plated.
