La Nouvelle is the next story in our culinary journey by Michael Lugo. This opportunity to bring French Nouveau cuisine to our city has us so excited. Bringing to the helm Matthieu Landillon from the coastal city of Marseille, La Nouvelle allows us to explore classic French Bistro fare with an elevated edge. We had a lovely evening. The food was superb, the service was very attentive. The chef is from France so everything was so authentic. We really loved La Nouvelle! We cannot wait to go back!

We booked La Nouvelle for our anniversary dinner based on the number of positive reviews and we were so delighted with our experience that we’ve already booked an encore visit. We started with marinated nicoise olives (will definitely order again) and a tasty pâté trio, followed by an excellent dirty French Caesar salad and a delicious cup of lobster bisque. For our entrees we ordered an off menu special of coquilles st. jacques—outstanding—and a tasty plate of merguez sausage with pommes aligot and haricots verts. We shared a pot de creme as a sweet finale. Jessie provided outstanding service and everyone was so welcoming from the moment we arrived until we departed that we are looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing food with excellent service The steak and duck were so good. I also recommend the caramelized onion tartin! Dessert we had the pot de crepe which was delicious!

If you like French cuisine, this is the place for you. Our dishes were excellent. Dessert was a solid good. Bring a sweater if you are sitting inside, it’s quite chilly in a dress.

We tried the first time La Nouvelle for a Birthday dinner and we’re not disappointed with the choice. The food was excellent, the staff friendly and attentive, and the wine list extensive and reasonably priced. My wife’s Duck Confit was cooked to perfection and tasted great. The asparagus appetizer was delicious and one we will get again. The food and wine had a pleasing French focus as expected and we were very happy with it. Already planning a future return.

This may have been the best French food we have ever had! Everything was cooked to perfection and presented well. We lived in Upstate New York for decades and we were looking for a good French restaurant here, what we found was an EXCELLENT one! This is a delightful setting and the staff is incredible. If you try this restaurant, you will NOT be sorry. Thank you, to La Nouvelle, for the wonderful meal and excellent service. You made the evening special.
