Food and drinks were great, but it took a long time for cocktails to be delivered.
It was a Saturday night and the restaurant only had a few tables filled. It was surprising that service was slow with so few customers. The calamari appetizer had good flavor but it was very tough and rubbery. My friend and I ordered a linguini dish with muscles, clams, shrimp and calamari in a marinara sauce that was fair. My wife ordered sea bass which I also tasted and we both thought was very good. Another person ordered chicken oreganato which I did not taste, but was told it was just ok. I was disappointed because the reviews I read on the restaurant were rated high, and with my experience, I was a bit disappointed. Maybe caught them on a bad night.
Great neighborhood family owned spot. Food was great. Very attentive service but not overload. You have to appreciate the city life as the train passes by across the street regularly. Great Place! Will def be back.
It was a great night food was excellent
Great Bartender, Very Good food, Weird waiter. Recommended us leaving a CASH tip. Awkward. He wasn't very friendly or great on service. Food and Ambiance were great though. WE may try the Oak Park location next time.
We chose to have outdoor seating because the weather was great. The only disadvantage is the train noise. But I would definitely come here again.
did not live up to my expectations.food was not as posted on the menu and not up to par at all..It's been a while since we went there and we will not go back.
Had an early dinner, before a show. Noise level very low, but there were few tables seated early on a weekday. Food was fantastic and at a reasonable price. I would definitely dine here again
This was for a graduation. I don't usually leave check moments but for this I have too. The food was tasteless, the coke tasted plasticly my kids just drank water because of this, and I ordered an Old fashion that came looking pink in color.
Had a great meal - food was a little slower coming out of the kitchen than we would have liked but when it arrived, it was great. Easy access and plenty of parking around the restaurant.
Always pleasure coming to this location. Pretty good Italian menu. Clams when in season and available a must to get. Wine recommendation from our server an excellent choice
I really like the food at La Notte, but this is the second time we left with a sour taste from our experience. The restaurant puts prices on its menu, but it decides to increase the prices around holidays. We knew the exact same items were the normal price on saturday and increased on Mother's Day menu so we went on Saturday instead. When we received the bill, they decided to charge us the holiday pricing. When I asked the waitress, she said we have the right to increase the prices when we want to, "it's always higher on the weekends." I just do not understand how they think this is a good way to do business. If you fluctuate things that much, put market price so you can ask. Don't go for the gotcha moment when you get the bill, and we've been upcharged an additional $20 because you felt like it. I've given them chances, but they have officially lost my business.
Great food, great night out and great service. Really a good location for almost any type of dining outing. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.
My husband and I had a rare date night, and we decided to try La Notte. It always smells decious from the outside, so we decided to give it a try. We felt welcomed immediately upon entering through the door! With a warm greeting we were escorted to our seat. The restaurant was cozy and comfortable and even romantic. The menu was large, with a note that they also make many other dishes not on the menu, just ask. We were encouraged to try the specials, and we both did. My pasta was cooked perfectly. The ingredients were fresh, the sauce was great. My husband had a seafood dish and it was fresh and tasty. The service was excellent, quick, efficient, and friendly. We enjoyed our experience so much we have already gone back with the kids.
