Waited at entrance for 5 minutes before associate noticed us and told an associate to wait on us. This lady was chatting with hotel staff at front desk and continued to do so for another 5 minutes so we left.
Was not really impressed. Food was not really eye popping but was good. Service was not that good, the only one who seemed to be attentive to my granddaughter and I was an attendant who kept our water glass full. Was there a few years ago and had heard it had improved it didn't. See you in a few more years.
As always, we enjoyed our lunch prior to seeing a show at the Fisher. Food and drinks were great. Our server, Marc'Dez, welcomed us with a smile and took very good care of us. She was efficient and professional.
They did a great job with our cocktails and ensured we were served quickly in order to be in time for a play at the Fisher. Super convenient if you’re going to the Fisher! Very friendly staff!
Small menu, mediocre food, tired and dated atmosphere, ok service. Something really wonderful could happen here in this area with new ownership!
We had a lovely time. Food and service was excellent!!
Ordered drinks. They never came. Dinner took an hour. Still no drinks. Two very large parties and only one waiter for the entire rest of the restaurant. Ended up taking 50% off our bill. Wouldn’t rush back.
We had a nice lunch at this restaurant before the Fisher. We enjoyed our food and our cocktails. Our server, Marc'Dez was great. She was welcoming and attentive to our needs. She appreciated the fact that we were attending a show, so she got us what we needed in a timely fashion without rushing us. This restaurant is fortunate to have her on their team.
I’m giving it a bad review because I made a reservation and the place was closed because they decided to only open for brunch that day. There was no connection between the open table reservation and the restaurant hours. I was left with no place to eat a family dinner on Mother’s Day
Our reservations were at 6:15pm and there wasn't any hostess there ever, we only ordered salads and it took 45 minutes to get those. Thank goodness the show was at 8pm because we didn't get out of there until 7:30pm
The restaurant was absolutely empty. No other guests came in the entire time we were there. We wanted dessert, and there was only ONE choice: cheesecake. It was fine, but we would have liked more variety. Our waiter, Alfonse, was fantastic.
Great for eating before the theater. Small menu...would love more choices. We all had the catfish sandwich (yummy!) and the gumbo (so good!). Our server, Alfonz, was outstanding and went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. Beers were a little small for the price...would love a pint glass.
Our server was excellent. I’m sorry I don’t recall her name. The restaurant wasn’t very busy but she still took more time with us than she had to.
My friend and I have eaten at La Musique before a Fisher show in the past. This time we were with our
daughters for lunch before Hamilton. We had a lovely time; was very special. Our favorite, waitress/bartender took care of us. As always, Holly, was welcoming, knowledgeable, efficient and professional. You are lucky to have her on your team.
Nice dinner extremely close to the Fisher Theatre. The small menu allowed for quicker service but the good was most definitely not fast food. Husband and I will definitely consider again for our next show at the Fisher.
Food was good - calamari as an appetizer; seared salmon for dinner. Our server was very good, especially considering there was no one staffing the bar! She was very good - very positive attitude!
Thank you for your review. It is greatly appreciated.
Pretty good place especially to bring your children quiet it’s a map and is right next to the Fisher theater so if you got any events going on there
A wonderful place nestled in the historic St. Regis. The location and attentive staff compliment a night out at the Fisher Theater. Food was excellent - chilean sea bass was cooked to perfection. For an appetizer we chose their calamari. Perfectly flashed with delicious remoulade. We tried both the french onion and the gumbo. Both soups were outstanding. Beautiful location, and a quick walk to the Fisher Theater. Our service was attentive, caring, and extremely efficient. We'll be there again, I'm sure.
Thank you for the wonderful 5 star review!! We really appreciate the comments and feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the selections for our Hamilton Menu. Please visit us again on your next theater excursion as we have specials prepared for these events.
Uncomfortable experience. Very expensive for the quality. We inquired about dessert and were told our choices were either chocolate or lemon cake and shortly after we finished a table next to us had cheesecake. When we asked our server she said sorry she had no idea cheesecake was an option. When the bill came we were overcharged for our wine, when I inquired I was told that’s how it rang up (even though the menu had a lower amount printed.) Mediocre food, long wait for server, brought out our salads and entree at the same time -then was told they would take it back and keep it warm under the lights. AWFUL!
I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. It will be addressed from our management team to assure that this will not happen again. Thank you for your feedback.
The restaurant was wonderful location wise to the Fisher - but overall, not very impressive. The staff were courteous - but the food ordinary diner food. The hamburger had a store bought soggy bun - the handcut fries were good, but a few were still raw. Not a large selection of food, which is fine, but not what you expect with the location.
We appreciate the feedback you have given us and we will let our kitchen management team aware of the information provided.
We attended a performance of “Hamilton” and then walked one block to La Musique, which was convenient. We had an attentive and efficient waitress, Felicia. We ordered sandwiches. They were adequate. The restaurant needs updating. It seemed tired. Needs some sparkle.
We are glad you have enjoyed your experience with us. Thank you for recognizing Felicia! We will let her know about your review.
It was okay. We went before Hamilton and they were out of many of the menu items. They only had three happy hour appetizers and were out of one. Food was ok, service was good.
Had to find someone to seat us
Sat for 15 minutes and had to find someone to wait on us
La Musique was very good, had a great time. Limited menu, but each of us had something different and they were all very good! I would go back!
Thank you for your 4 star review. We shall see you soon!
Dinner before attending the rheater
Thank you for the 5 star review. It is greatly appreciated!
It was a wonderful dinner and perfect venue for going to the Fisher Theatre! We will definitely go there the next time we get tickets to the Fisher.
Thank you for your 5 star review!! I'm glad you enjoyed your experience and we can't wait to serve you again.
This restaurant was not what we expected. There was no host or hostess on duty that evening. Food was subpar. The service was really inattentive and very slow and we had even put on our reservation that we are attending the theater afterwords. This was not the quality restaurant I would have expected at all. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone and will never return. Restroom was filthy and several stalls not functioning.
We apologize for the experience you had on your current visit. We have escalated your concerns to our management team to correct them. We appreciate you giving us the time for your feedback.
Musique was a great find. Fun bar and great food with valet parking and a inside bridge to the Fisher theatre.
The gumbo was the real deal. A nice spice level some may find hot. The salad with apple and walnuts was fresh with a delicious home made dressing
We are glad you enjoyed our signature gumbo! It is our pride and joy!! Hope to see you back again!
This was my second time dining at La Musique before heading to a show at the Fischer Theater. The first time, service was quick, the food was delicious, and it was a very relaxing way to get dinner before a show. Because of this, I went there a second time, again before a show. This time however, the service was horrible. It took over 25 minutes for our waitress to take our food order. We told her we were going to an 8pm show at Fischer, but we didn't receive our food until over an hour after we were seated. She barely came by our table at all, but we could see her throughout the restaurant attending to all her other clients before us. When she finally brought our food, we asked for the bill so that we could make it to the show (it was already 7:20pm, we had a 6:15pm reservation). Her response was to say, "It's only an 8 minute walk to the Theater so you will be fine", as if we didn't know how to get there or only wanted to walk straight to our seats with no line at the door. We were seeing Hamilton, so big lines were expected and we wanted to leave enough time for that - our waitress seemed not to care. It was another 10 minutes before we got the bill. Instead of a relaxing evening, we were stressed about having enough time to eat the food we paid for and still make it to our seats before curtain. The food was delicious as it was before, but I will definitely think twice before going here again on a Friday night.
I'm very sorry that your second visit did not live up to your first visit. We thrive to provide the utmost service daily and may fall to some challenges. Please forgive us for not exceeding your expectations. We will share your comments to our team so we can serve each guest the ultimate experience.
The food was great. Only issue was with the server not coming back very frequent we wanted dessert and took 20 min for her to come around.
The food was great. I had the crab cake. Our waiter was very pleasant, Alfonz, but it looked like he was all on his own with several tables. He said he’d be back with bread and never brought it until our food was ready.
He mentioned they are planning a large renovation of the place soon.
It was a perfect spot for before Hamilton at the Fisher. We walked inside over to theater and valet parking was only $10. Worked out great as it was rainy and snowy that evening.
We had dinner after attending the afternoon Hamilton show and dinner was fantastic. While the menu was limited, the food was fantastic and the service excellent. It also happened to be the 12th birthday for the daughter. In addition to a candle on her deseret, she was treated to a beautiful rendition of happy birthday from one of the waiters; Alfonz. It was a great dinner after a great show. The daughter was even able to get a selfie with the actor who had played George Washington in the show as he stopped by the restaurant to grab something after the show.
Wow!! What a wonderful review and experience you had! Alphonse goes the extra mile to make our guests feel more welcome and entertained.
Experience was fine but nothing special. Waiter was nice but not attentive to our table. Needed to track him down on 3 occasions: for a drink, for some butter to accompany our previously delivered rolls (delivered warm but eaten cold due to butter delay), and for steak sauce. Ended up getting steak sauce from a different waiter. Salad was good. Close proximity to theatre was a plus as was parking at venue and walking to theatre rather than parking in the theatre's structure and dealing with traffic at end of show. Not sorry we went her just wish it was better. Would give a qualified referral to a friend.
We were there for Hamilton at the Fisher so we chose from the limited menu. Both had the whitefish which was very good, and shared cheesecake which was a little disappointing. Seemed it had been thawed out unevenly. Highlight was the service. This was the second time we had Irma as our server and she was fantastic. There when you needed her but not hovering like so many seem to do these days. We'll ask for her again.
Thank you for your review and feedback. We appreciate the recognition given to Irma. We will look into the cheesecake and inform our chef.
Selected this restaurant because of the close proximity to the Fisher Theater. There were mixed reviews but We wanted to give the restaurant a chance. The table was ready upon our arrival and we were shown our table immediately. The service we received by the staff was impeccable. We ordered our appetizers (crab cakes) not only were the delicious but a sizable portion. The steaks and salads were equally impressive and topped off with a wonderful cheesecake. I would highly recommend this venue for a wonderful dining experience.
We appreciate the outstanding 5 star review. The team has worked very hard to deliver great service and product. We are continuing to grow and to stay focused on service and great food!
Visited before a show at the a Fisher Theater next door. Service was inconsistent, but our waitress (Erma) was also tending bar. She made the best out of a difficult situation. We were able to order, eat and get to the show in plenty of time. Limited menu was disappointing. The food served was not what we ordered, but the kitchen quickly fixed the issue. Food quality was good, portion sizes were more than adequate, but price was disproportionate. Gumbo, crab cakes and chicken salad are recommended. Ambiance was o.k., but could use some more intimate lighting in dining room other than just pot lights. Comfortable seating at the tables, but too many tables made the space around see very crowded.
We apologize that we did not meet your expectations. We will be taking your feedback into account and discuss it with the team to assure we can correct our shortcomings and continue to strive for better service.
The menu isn't huge but there is a good variety. Our meal was very good and our server, Alfonse, was excellent!
Thank you for recognizing Alphonse as providing you a great experience. We appreciate the feedback.
food great. service not up to par not organized but the staff great. needs better organization so the staff can shine
Historic build, great for going to fisher building, but in dire need of updates. We went of lunch on a Saturday and food was pretty good. I had Po' boy sandwich and while it tasted good, it gave me heart burn about an hour later. Wife had Adult mac n cheese with shrimp ($30 for the meal). It was great, but not sure if it was worth the cost. Our server was great, but there was others that were loud, talking about how much money they were making, and generally being unprofessional. Not what I expect for that type of atmosphere and cost point. We may try dinner before a show sometime, as their valet is great, but it is not on high on our lists of must go again.
We apologize that we have not met your expectations. We appreciate the feedback you have given and address it as a team to serve our guests better.
