Making the reservation was easy but trying to talk to someone on the phone about moving the time was alittle hard to reach but they did get ahold of me and we figured it out. Now I wish they would say in the reservation that after a certain time you will be asked to moved if you can fulfill the table drink $$$ minimum for the nightlife of the place. I wasn’t a fan of that. But the space is beautiful but we got moved to the patioish area and well it was definitely not the night life I was thinking I was going to experience. It’s not part of the restaurant and you can just hear the music being played inside in the space.

There food menu is very limited there’s not a lot of options. Took a long time to get drinks taken, food everything. Our server was nice but that’s the only good thing I can say about our experience.

Went there for dinner and it was empty. We found out that this is really more of a night club place with dancing later in the evening. Server was very sweet. Food was ok, but menu options were very limited. Salsa was good and beans were good. Tacos were small and unimpressive. Ambience is cool and it would be fun to come back later to see what the dance scene is like. This is really more of a bar with food rather than a place to go for a sit down dinner.

Food is not worth the price. The bartenders are amazing. The host and waiters not much. Took forever to get the food & drinks. I recommend this place to go to dance and have drinks only but not to dine in. Food selection is wack and the price is crazy high for the portion of the food.

The food choices are minimal and ordinary. I also asked for no sugar in my drink and it was sooo sweet. Just had to keep adding water to my drink.

This was such an odd experience. We had an 8:45pm reservation, though it was not needed. There were only 2 other parties. The nightclub atmosphere had already started. The music was so loud there was no way to even converse at the table without literally yelling over the very profane (think WAP) music. Although there were 2 girls working the bar, and two servers, we waited for about 20 minutes for anyone to even speak to us. When she did, she seemed annoyed that we were there, then told us that the kitchen closes at 9. I told her we had 8:45 reservations and have been waiting and she told me she would have to go check in with the kitchen to see if they would still cook our food. Crazy. The menu is extremely limited and there were a few things they didn't have. When we eventually got our food, we were underwhelmed. I'm sad. We have been here a couple of years ago and it was wonderful. We will not be back.

I recently visited and had a thoroughly disappointing experience. Despite being excited to try this place for a while, it did not live up to our expectations at all. Firstly, the service was incredibly slow. It took about 30 minutes just to get drinks on the table and place our food orders. When our waitress finally showed up, she had an attitude towards the end of our interaction which was quite off-putting. When the food eventually arrived, the orders were incorrect. Moreover, the food itself was bland and lacked both flavor and presentation. It was clear that little effort was put into making the dishes appealing. Throughout our meal, the table was never cleaned, and our waters were only refilled after I specifically asked. This level of inattentiveness is unacceptable in any dining establishment. Overall, La Mina seems to have a good concept, but the execution is severely lacking. Unfortunately, this visit was a letdown, and I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience.
