At La Marchande, Chef John Fraser revitalizes the French chophouse, spotlighting seasonal ingredients and a fresh approach to steakhouse dining. The café-inspired dining room and casual bar setting provide unique environments for both formal meals and relaxed drinks.

Chef John presents innovative dishes like "French Onion Dumplings" and seared "Bone Marrow," served in a freshly baked baguette. The menu features a variety of simply prepared proteins, including "Aged Long Island Duck" and "Broiled Prawns" with bouillabaisse maître d butter. The website makes this place look elegant. It is not. It's a mediocre restaurant with old brown tables and uncomfortable chairs and no ambiance. The mother's day brunch buffet offered boring stuff. The entrees that came with the buffet (omelet, waffle) were disappointing. I was so looking forward to a thick and delicious Bloody Mary on my special day. It was thin, tasted like a grocery store mix, and limited to one garnish (olive, celery, bacon). Definitely not worth $100 per plus $20 drink. I will not be returning.

We waited a long time to have our dishes but except this it was EXCEPTIONAL!! The food was soooo good!! I will definitely come back

My wife and I were celebrating a wedding anniversary and I indicated this on the Open Table app. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was wished “happy anniversary” by the greeter and waiter. My wife and I were seated in a special, semi-private booth just off the main dining room floor in a place of honor. Everything we ordered was quite delicious and well priced and the waiter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us with food choices and wine pairings. The staff thoughtfully put a candle in our dessert to mark our celebration and informed us at the end of meal that dessert was their gift to us. The whole experience was classy and made for an amazing memory.
