   Went for the Mother’s Day lunch event. The lunch buffet experience did not meet the expectations of returning customers who have been there for their excellent dinner service. All of the means were overdone and frankly not delicious. We were highly disappointed with the quality of the menu and the lack of kids menu on Mother’s Day lunch. Even after indicating to the serving staff, that the quality of the means were not acceptable nothing was done to make the situation better. If this was my first experience, I’d probably would never come back to this restaurant however we know that they do an excellent job at dinner and we will probably be back to ensure that the quality hasn’t dropped significantly overall.

   Be aware of ordering mineral water. Their restaurant does a really good job of pushing the customer for more and more water they cost per bottle as of May 3 is $27 per bottle. In our party of four we were not aware of the prize and ended up adding $81 to the final bill. This is just a bit much. In addition, we were seated in a corner table and pretty much forgotten about. We had two twice stand up and look to make contact with our waiter.

   Service was terrible we ordered 4 dishes and only got 3. After the first dish no one came to check on us. We wanted to order more drinks and eventually dessert but that was not possible. Since we were presented with the check (without being asked if we wanted anything else) we let the server know that we never got one of our dishes and that we never got the opportunity to order other items. Also since you expect customers to pay a premium, you should offer real seats instead of ottomans. Overall I would not recommend La Mar Bellevue to anyone. I will keep recommending La Mar Miami and La Mar Lima

   As usual the overall great experience, great service and welcome atmosphere. We have been going to La Mar pretty often, this time tried number of new dishes and most were fantastic (tacos, scallop with parmesan foam and more), however was disappointed with seabass dish. Black rice was done in seafood broth and tasted very strange and was soggy, while fish was mostly dry. Will definitely come back again, but will stick to meat and duck dishes for the main course.

   High quality food with great taste, great presentation and great service. Price was very reasonable for what they are serving.
