   Once again, phenomenal food, service and ambience in the wine bar for brunch. Eggs Benedict was delicious, as was the French toast. Will be back!

   Had an excellent brunch on Easter Sunday. Both my fiancée and I ordered from the savory waffles and we were both blown away by how delicious and perfectly cooked they were. The portions were also perfect: we left full but not stuffed. The service was great, we were in and out in about 30 minutes. Will definitely be coming back on subsequent visits to Portsmouth.

   A small cafe visited during Portsmouth's Restaurant Week. The food was well prepared and serving size large enough to cause us to take home the dessert. Each of the selected dishes, served prix fixe, was delicious, although the risotto was under seasoned. The charcuterie board, priced separately, was the star of the meal with a wide variety of supplemental tastings in addition to the meats and cheeses ordered. Service was adequate if a bit remiss (utensils were cleared with the salad course but not replaced when the entree was presented) and slow due to the cafe being full. Overall, a somewhat exotic meal worth the asking price.

   We were the first table seated for dinner service. Unfortunately, they put us in a table next to the service area where we heard ice and other noises throughout the meal. For such a small dining area there was no reason to put us there when every other two-top was empty. The waiter was attentive. The food was limited choices due to it being Restaurant Week but we were aware of that. The savory madeleines tasted like cornbread and were nothing special. The beef bourguignon was not as flavorful as other renditions I've had of that dish. The deconstructed key lime tart was the best course of the meal. My companion had the strawberry rhubarb crumble and it was her best course too.

   There were two sections to the place - a sitdown and a takeout/cafe section. The food at the cafe was actually better than the sitdown.

   This is our second time dining at this restaurant and it doesn’t disappoint. Our only input is we wish there were a few more choices of appetizers as well as entrees… just two more would be lovely. Our server Eric was terrific and able to juggle all the tables needs with care.
