   My favourite duck confit was at this little Parisian restaurant in a book store, but this place served a duck that tasted very similar. From a nice crispy skin to a perfectly cooked duck...Maison du Magret lives up to the name. Next time we are in Montreal we will have to visit this place again because the experience was almost perfect.

   Best restaurant I've been in the last years. Simple decor , very present staff (not invasive) and amazing food. Foie gras au torchon is the best I ever had !!!! Magret was perfectly cooked and served with foie gras sauce and french fries with veggies. Short but very good wine list. Deserts were very good as well : Apple tarte tatin and creme brulée. Even the coffee was excellent, fresh and strong. Overall , I'll give a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Owner would go around and talk with clients which you dont see anymore. Will certainly go back soon.

   Nous avons soupé à la Maison du magret le 14 octobre 2014. Service sympathique, une jeune fille à l'accent à la française qui connaît bien son menu et peut faire des suggestions. L'entrée de fois gras au torchon avec confiture de figues était tout simplement paradisiaque. Le magret ensuite, une cuisson à la perfection, sauce au fois gras servie à part, assiette service avec des frites. Un repas pas spécialement diététique (!!), mais une fois n'est pas coutume. À recommander.

   I have never seen so many ways to prepare duck. The place stayed busy thoughout our visit. The two waiters were a bit overwhelmed. Our four versions of duck were mall unique. The portions are on the larger size. The tastes varied. Over half of our group loved their meals.

   If you like Foei Gras, Food from Sud-Ouest in France, go there. Foie gras is very nice and all dishes too. Take a glass of Jurancon with it.

   Both my wife and I are fans of Sud Quest cuisine, especially duck. There were no disappointments here. Portions were generous and the magret was just right.

   This restaurant is great, my wife and I love it. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is very romantic. They specialize in duck (hence the title) so most things on the menu will have some form of duck in them. But if you want to experience all the delicious ways you can have duck, definitely try this place.

   Good food, but very limited menu. If you are not a duck meat eater, then this is not for you.

   The food was so good from start to finish. They use every part of the duck and have all the famous french duck dishes. Very friendly service with a simple yet succulent and affordable menu! Our waiter was great! As soon as they add duck filled dumplings (ravioli) with duck sauce or poutine (one with either roasted duck, one au foie gras and one just plain with their yummy sauce and their amazing all you can eat french fries) and a foie gras creme brule, we're back!

    Well préparéd and quick... A little issue with the foie gras ( over cooked). But no argument for exchanging it. All and all great experience!
