La Lucha

Connor was our waiter and he made excellent recommendations and provided outstanding service. We tried the shrimp deviled eggs, the grilled oysters, the oyster po-boy, the fried shrimp and chicken - all were amazing! Would definitely recommend and return!

Such a great place to spend Valentine’s Day. The oysters were incredible and our server was so helpful and knowledgeable.

Valentine’s Day brunch. Cocktails and a dozen raw oysters to start, followed by multiple small plates. George, the manager, sent over some roasted oysters while our fried chicken was prepared and they were fantastic! Omar did a great job serving us. We’ll be back.

First time coming to La Lucha. Everything was fantastic. Our server, Richard, was awesome. Definitely will be coming back!

Probably won’t return because was way too loud. We couldn’t talk across the table and had to almost shout to my wife sitting next to me.

We really liked the food, especially the red fish, and the oysters. others were also good, we tried the gumbo and chowder ; which was less surprising. We thought they were especially good at baking and roasting. Would visit again if we are in the area.

Always great service! great food! one of my favorite places to go and relax. the charcoal broil roasted Parmesan Garlic oysters are the BEST. love the steam dumplings too! And, the Hibiscus Mezcal Margarita is a must but request extra shot of Mezcal tequila.

Great venue. Had the happy hour oysters, fried chicken, brussel sprouts and corn chowder fries. Everything was excellent. The homemade sauces for oysters and chicken were fantastic!

Tables spaced well apart, and our server kept her mask on the whole time.

The food here is AMAZING. We just split a bunch of different plates and everything was mouth watering and delicious. Can not recommend the oysters enough!! The service was quick and amazing. She had so many good suggestions and helped us order. Felt very safe and comfortable with covid restrictions and cleanliness. We went for a girls night but this is also a great place for a date night!

The friend chicken and biscuits were great along with the appetizers we ordered. The only clunker were the Brussel sprouts. They were soggy and lack luster.

It was our first time eating inside a restaurant in a very long time! We totally enjoyed our evening. The food, service and ambiance was a treat. We had fried chicken, gumbo and shrimp remalaude. All delicious!!

The food menu was very limited when we went, more like tapas style portions as well- unless you get the burger. Omg, and my tacos had slices of cheese- not shredded cheese- major turn off. Drinks were good and service was excellent.

The food was phenomenal. Reasonably priced, large portions and came out in a timely manner. Outside could use a little more lighting but other then that it was outstanding!

Fried chicken was delicious. Loved the oysters. Our server was friendly, but he seemed very forgetful during service. Took awhile to get our drinks. After about 20min he came to our table asking if I was ready to order and then realized 5min later that he had already put the order in. But he was apologetic. All was good. Will certainly go back.

This was our first visit and we loved it!!! The service was excellent. Can’t wait to come back.

A very nice evening. Service impeccable. Ambiance nice. Drinks good. Food good, although different. Prices are high for amount of food.

Went with girlfriends to catch up & everything was great! I really love how they chill their red wine.

This place was really nice for dinner. The staff were very friendly and exhibit great customer service. Everything my wife and I ate was delicious. Our only change would be if the menu selection had more options. Other than that, this place was amazing!

Fried chicken is insanely good, oysters are incredible, crawfish bread is from another planet. If your from Louisiana don’t get the gumbo.

At the last moment we made a reservation for dinner and arrived early. The hostess was very polite and accommodating. We were sited right away! The food was delicious. Overall a very good dining experience

Always a great experience and this time didn’t disappoint! Food is perfectly cooked and well seasoned, service is attentive and friendly but not overbearing. The drinks are well balanced and the wine selection isn’t simply the standard California reds and white on every other menu. We felt safe with the occupancy level and how the tables were situated, all employees with masks on properly. We will be back!
