La Laguna - Fairmont Ratings and Reviews
Great local mexican food
A really good way to start a vacation! Freash and local ingredients put together by the Chefs to create a fun and creative mexican menu! Loved it! The service is great, the staff is courteous and attentive to details. Thank you La Laguna team for this great dining experience :)
In contrast to most of the Fairmont resort, which has a native Caribbean (almost Polynesian) decor theme, La Laguna had a wide open, tall dining room with more of a Florida feeling (think of the Grand Floridian hotel at Disney World). Food was good: relatively traditional Mexican dishes with some creative additions. Service was lackluster by any standard, and seemed poor compared to what we experienced elsewhere in Mayakoba.
