Amazing experience. The wait staff was very attentive and kind. Food was exceptional, we truly enjoyed the Blackberry Flatbread it was a perfect mix of sweet and savory. Next time we come back to Utah we will definitely be back.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Only thing to note is that the service seemed slow and slower than those sitting around us. I am also not sure if staff were aware that it was our anniversary despite sharing that when making the reservation.

We had a small lunch group (4), we made a reservation the week before. Looks like they were running a party in the other room and only had a couple of servers, so it was a bit slow. Food was tasty and servers were great and personable, even with the heavy workload. Our lunch took about 2 hours from seating to leaving, which was longer than we had planned for. Accommodating. Great atmosphere.

Ben was the best server!! Food was an anticipated. Was there a change in the roll recipe because it seemed different on this visit. It was great we were not rushed and could visit. Ben never pressured us and continued to check on us.

Honestly very very impressed with this restaurant! Took my husband there for his birthday and absolutely loved it. The ambiance is romantic and relaxing. The service was outstanding! Some of the best service we’ve ever had! Shout out to our amazing waitress summer! The food was very good and you can tell the put in a lot of detail to make it an experience! The bruschetta was so good! Definitely get it!

We were travelling from Canada on our way to AZ and stopped in Provo overnight. Open Table found us this restaurant, but we didn’t arrive until 8:30 pm. and it was closing at 9:00 pm. The staff was very accommodating and hospitable. The food was excellent, mushroom bisque, French Onion soup and medallions. The ambience was beautiful. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The atmosphere was great not to loud we were 2 of the 8 people that were in the restaurant at the time are sever was nice food came out quick but was not good my wife got the shrimp pasta and the shrimp was raw it took a while for the server to come check on us. When we told them that it was raw they didn’t act surprised that it was. Like it has happens before or frequently. They didn’t discount it off are bill or even offer to take it off. The amuse was a pitiful excuse of one and lacked imagination. This was my second time and both experiences were awesome I won’t be going back anytime soon

Excellent in every way. The menu has quite a bit of variety and all of our food was very well prepared. The service was professional and friendly with those extra little touches that make a good dinner a special experience. The kitchen adapted meals to make them gluten free. We will definitely be back!!!

We had a party of 7 for a birthday celebration, took forever to get food and when we finally did steak was overcooked and cold, one chicken meal was undercooked and cold, other chicken meal was cold. Then we were told it would take another 20-30 minutes to get the food replaced and if we wanted they could just put it to-go and we could microwave it (and still pay for it) so three out of the seven didn’t get any dinner. They didn’t comp us anything not even appetizers or deserts. The manager didn’t come to speak with us until we asked. This place has been my go to for celebrating and have been there many times. Will probably not go back.

We typically come here for lunch (it’s been about 9 months since we’ve been here) but came for dinner with a group of 8. Three of us ordered the chicken tortellini which was hardly edible because the pasta was so undercooked. We didn’t have time for them to cook more because we had an event to go to. Even if the pasta was cooked correctly, the sauce was marginal. It was loaded with an inordinate amount of onions which over powered the flavor of the sauce. Another person in our party ordered the shrimp scampi which was marginal. The shrimp were cold and the sauce wasn’t a typical white wine or light garlic base, but tasted like a stew with a red base. Again, tons of onions with that dish as well. The Portobello mushroom entree had so many flavors going on that it was just so-so. The two dishes that were good was the salmon and the carbonara pasta that was ordered without meat. Gratefully the manager at least took off the tortellini dishes from our bill. Won’t be going back for dinner anytime soon. Nervous to come back for lunch as well. Pluses are the quiet ambiance and our server was good.

We have loved coming to this restaurant over the years. But this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. There were six of us and my son’s steak did not come in till 15 minutes after everybody else’s food came. When it did come, it was cold. They took it back and either reheated it for re-cooked another but it’s still did not taste very good. And I felt they did not feel bad about the situation at all. They gave us a free dessert. But that’s nothing compared to the $45 I wasted on a steak. I spent almost $200 and was so disappointed. We will not be returning to La Jolla Groves

This was for my sister’s birthday and I was hoping they’d ask about a special occasion but the service felt rushed and minimal. The food wasn’t terrible, but for what we paid I felt really disappointed. Wouldn’t go again and probably wouldn’t recomend. Kind people, but the experience wasn’t as great as I was hoping for.

Every time I go to La Jolla for lunch, it's like a 2 hour lunch. The service is always extremely slow. Business people don't have 2 hours to sit at a table waiting for food, etc. I don't see why the service is so slow when there are generally just a few tables at the restaurant and usually a 1:1 waiter and table ratio. It took almost 20 minutes just to get our drinks form the time we ordered them. The food and atmosphere is amazing, but I can see why this restaurant is so slow at lunch. Not many have time to just sit around all afternoon waiting for their food. Even after we were done eating, it took forever to get attention of staff to get to-go boxes and a check, delaying our lunch even longer. I am actually going to avoid taking clients here for lunch from now on because they get frustrated with how long the lunch takes, as do I. It throws off our afternoon and makes us late to other meetings. Would recommend to a friend for dinner, but not lunch. Would warn about time.

We had a terrific time celebrating my wife’s 1/2 marathon finish and job promotion. The appetizer was a fantastic blend of meats and cheeses along with berries and nuts. My wife had the blackened salmon salad and I’ve never seen her make that face on a first bite. I had the Shrimp Carbonara. It was perfect. Our server was perfect. We will be back.

Presentation was mediocre; beef was overcooked, vegetables were cold yet potatoes were hot. Waitress was great and apologetic for the mess up. Food runner had no idea about anything to do with service. Did not know the details of what was on the plate (sauces, temperature etc.) Overall a disappointing experience for the price. Finally, the menu was all sticky and stained.
