   We went for Mother’s Day brunch. I guess we had one of the last tables. They buffet was not fresh, soggy veggies (terrible asparagus), ran out of carbonara pasta so none for anyone in our party, the prime rib, they gave me precut pieces. I guess they didn’t want to refresh any of the food. The chicken was dry and had been sitting out forever. Deserts (crepes were all premade and sitting around, like old pancakes). I would have expected fresh food and an amazing experience for $80 a person on Mother’s Day. It was maybe worth $40. Great service though. Good atmosphere. They did give a few extra chocolates because we were the last party. Should have done pizza across the street for $120 vs $600.

   They were out filet Mignon steaks at 7 pm. The food was not seasoned well, the appetizer and soups were really good, but the entrées were an extreme disappointment.. The restaurant itself is phenomenal as far as decor and ambience, but the food leaves a lot to be desired for such an expensive restaurant.

   It's been almost 3 years since our last visit here, and my have things changed. The menu has been shrunk down to nothing. There was ONE pasta dish where there used to be several. There were 2 soups when there used to be 4 or 5. No specials. Everything had some level of heat. I have never had butternut squash risotto with heat before, just saying. It was phenomenally noisy. Admittedly, it was the local university's graduation so a lot of celebrations going on but dang it was loud. My husband's pomegranate salad had ONE pecan in it. Was the food overall pretty good? Yes. Was there a significant lack of selection? Absolutely. But for the price, there are a ton of other options out there.

   Reservation for two at 1:15 PM. We were on time. A long long wait for a sandwich and fries and a salmon salad. We didn’t leave until 2:50 PM. Appetizer and salad was good. Sandwich ok. Personally don’t care for fries. $92 for two people and I left hungry.

   Fantastic food and excellent atmosphere!! The service was quite slow. Even with a reservation it took some time to be seated. The place was mostly empty when we arrived (only a few tables with guests) yet we had been unable to get an earlier reservation as it showed the desired time as “sold out”. It wasn’t. When we did arrive at the appointed time, we waited and waited to be seated. Five waiters stood in the back corner chatting, empty tables throughout, and the two hosts simply asked us to wait with no reason given. They may have been new in their jobs or inexperienced. Excellent food!! Slow service.

   Could have been 5 stars besides the food just having too much salt in it, got a carbonara pasta it was good but very salty it was pretty overpowering, but overall the place had amazing customer service and good vibes just the food was lacking WAY TO MUCH SALT
