We came in for a late lunch and were so impressed at the thoughtful changes La Jolla Groves has made from gloves the staff wore to using disposable menus and having hand sanitizer available. Our food was fantastic. I tried the tenderloin medallions and asked for mashed potatoes on the side which they happily accommodated. Our waitress was so helpful and we enjoyed our meal thoroughly.

Have been to this restaurant one previous time and enjoyed it so we decided to return for a birthday celebration. Loved the menu selections. The bruschetta is absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the beef medallions and pot roast meals and shared a piece of lemon cake for dessert. Entrées were cooked to order. Green beans served with the beef medallions were slightly overcooked but still delicious. Pot roast was out of this world. Lemon cake was also good but a little too extreme on the decorations – could’ve done without the meringue drops, less is more. Our party of two were seated a bit too close to a large party of 12 and we actually moved our table further away from the other diners so that we could talk at a comfortable level.
We celebrated my husbands 60th Birthday! We had a great time and loved the food! The staff was very fun and patient with our table!

Fantastic. La Jolla is the best! The service was amazing, the servers were very attentive and respectful. The food was absolutely amazing as well.
Waiter was awesome and accommodating. Steaks were perfectly cooked. I had a fillet cooked medium and it was so tender and not bloody at all. The truffle fries were so yummy too!

We enjoyed dinner and dessert under the lemon trees with great service and excellent food. My salmon salad was delicious as always and we loved the chocolate mousse and lemon cake to top off the evening.
From when we were seated to when we left, we had a fantastic experience. From the hostess to the waiter, everyone was very nice and friendly and we even just chatted with our waiter, Quinn for a couple minutes. I love that! Well done all around and I will definitely come back again.
We had reservations yet it still took 15 minutes to seat us. Immediate service was good, and since they didn’t have the soup we ordered, they offered other options of soup complimentary. Then we sat for more than an hour to get our simple entrees. The restaurant was less than half filled. The food was delicious as always, however!
I was dissapointed in our experience.We brought someone from out of town for a business dinner and we waited almost an hour and a half for the main course.Two of us got the filet it was a little over cooked.The third person got the pot luck and it didnt come out until 15 minuted later and it tasted like it had been sitting under the heat lamps.
We are willing to try it again in the future hoping to have a better experience
Such a great place. We have been here a couple times and we have loved everything we have had. We always go back to the salmon because it is amazing. Their infused lemonades are the perfect balance of sweet and tart and their staff is AMAZING. Super professional and so nice and attentive.

Based off of this experience, no. Based off of previous experiences, yes. I held you to a much higher standard, and was very disappointed. To the point I don't know that I'll be back.

The only flaw was that even with reservation we have to wait over 1hr to be seated, my reservation was made for 8:30pm and they was seating people with 9:15pm reservation before us.
We were told that we had a reservation, but when we arrived, they told us that we would have to wait 45 minutes extra. It was Valentine's day, freezing outside, and it was clear that they had purposefully overbooked due to the large number of people also waiting. After our wait, my date and I were seated in an overflow banquet hall that has all the ambiance of a mid range hotel lobby. When we finally received the menu, it revealed that they had boosted the price of everything, and they only had a limited menu. This practice isn't uncommon for Valentine's day, but the problem is that they didn't make any of this information public. I probably won't come back, and I will recommend other locations.
They were very busy, being Valentine’s Day, but the food was phenomenal.
Not even worth one star. We made a reservation and they told us it was a 45 minute wait for a RESERVATION. The food was not worth the price and it was crowded and loud.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Utah Valley. I come often with friends, family, and just on a date with my husband. We made a reservation for Valentine's Day, and we arrived 15 minutes early. We were told it would be a 45-minute wait! It was already 7:45 PM. We shopped in the rare bookstore nearby until we were texted that our table was available. The service was a little slow, but the place was packed. We had the most darling and attentive and kind and understanding server named Kip. Kip made our experience wonderful. I received a yellow rose and a coupon for 15% off our next visit. Even though the place was packed, the food was excellent.
This place was amazing
Came for Valentine’s Day and had reserved a table. Came 15 minutes early to our reservation. They had over booked and said “sorry people are not leaving their tables” we waited an HOUR with a newborn baby! It was so packed there wasn’t even room to wait inside. So we had to wait outside in the cold. By the time we were finally seated it has the worst table in the corner smashed against a wall by the kitchen. I had no room I had to shimmy in to my seat between two walls and the table, we weren’t even under the lemon trees :(. We immediately ordered. It TOOK ANOTHER HOUR for our food to come out. By that point our tiny baby was starving and I didn’t even have enough room to feed her a bottle without putting her on the table because of how cramped in the corner our table was, she barely could fit on my lap. Once the food finally came we just asked to have it boxed to go, we didn’t want to be there any longer it was such a horrible experience I am sick about it. Waste of $100 and a ruined Valentine’s Day. Worst part was La Jolla groves is where my husband proposed 4 years ago and he hadn’t been back since. We were so excited to be back at this “special place” and I feel last nights experience ruined La Jolla for us.
Had a reservation at 7pm. Got there at 6:55. Waited half an hour, even though we had a reservation. Some people waited 45min with a reservation. The food was decent but not worth our $80 check.
This was probably our fourth Valentine’s Day dinner at La Jolla Groves in the last 6 years. First off, the food was fantastic and the service was friendly. However, we arrived for our 6:45 reservation, were seated at 7:15, and it was past 8 when we received our food. We left our table at 8:50. I understand it was an extremely busy holiday but everything was so slow that it detracted from the enjoyment. We will come back but probably not on a holiday again.

I was so looking forward to this experience...for Valentines.
First disappointment was -though I had a reservation to sit in “the grove” we were seated in a side room with no ambience. (Why not put lemon trees and lanterns in every room?). Then there was a limited menu which was overpriced. Then , we brought our grand daughter to celebrate with us...and they would not accommodate by providing anything for her to eat ( we requested noodles with just butter- since I was ordering carbonara noodles) - we were told they could not assist us in any way. (awe made due with rolls and butter).
How I wanted this to be an extraordinary experience but the only extraordinary things we came away with was a gratitude for accommodating service in other restaurants and the high priced bill - which I would have been more than happy to pay- if we had had the chance to eat in “the grove” as we had hoped, and if they could have done ANYTHING for any price,(which we mentioned) to help our grand daughter celebrate with us.
Food was perfect! Elegant and simply delicious. Nick was a wonderful waiter and we love coming here! It’s our favorite restaurant in Utah County!

Nick took great care of my grandparents and I! They loved sharing the burger and the blackberry lemonade was a bit, too! Everyone should give the Lemon cake a try, it converted my chocoholic grandmother! Thanks for yet another amazing experience with our favorite restaurant in Utah!
My sister and I loved our meal and all the friendly staff! Savannah was very attentive and friendly, will definitely request her again! Highly recommend the blackened salmon salad and any of the lemonades, peach and blackberry are my favorites! Thank you for an amazing meal even during such a busy night!
From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a lovely young woman who was quite polite and took us to our table where our waiter joined us and we were very pleased with the food, service and the ambiance.
We enjoyed our lunch thoroughly from the delicious food to the friendly and helpful service of our waiter Kipp. We ordered our favorite dishes and saved room for the limited edition cranberry apple tart for dessert. I look forward to having it again in the fall.

We had a wonderful meal at La Jolla Groves with great service from Kade! Our food was delicious and we enjoyed lunch thoroughly. The salmon salad and burger were our old standby favorites, and we branched out and tried a couple new dishes this trip. The chicken was amazing and the risotto appetizer was great too!
The food was exceptional. The service? Was not. Although we were helped quickly upon arrival, as the restaurant became busier the quality of service we received declined dramatically. We were even ignored completely by staff on numerous passes, while attempting to ask for refills. We didn't get a spoon (or any other kind of utensil), to eat the first dessert item, for about 10 minutes. It took more than 30 minutes to get ice cream & then my drink (which was ordered to go with dessert) was brought out another 10 minutes after the ice cream. Our server didn't offer to box up our left overs and only boxed the items I specifically requested/ordered to go & then didn't bag all the boxes. When we WERE offered a bag, as we were walking out, one of the desserts we had ordered to go was dropped on its side on the floor by the staff. The staff member did apologized though as we left. And I left it at that because I wasn't willing to wait yet another 30 minutes (or more) attempting to get it replaced for my son. Our server's repeated attempts at "teasing jokes" about not letting me see a dessert menu until I ate all of my dinner & my dad needing to have served longer than 30 years in the military & have been a certain rank, to qualify for a military discount, came off as more passive aggressive remark than joke. And finally, I'm not sure why there was an option on the reservation to check if you were there for a special occasion (i.e. my birthday), since no mention was made of it by staff. I can only assume the reason the service we recovered didn't measure up to the service received by the other guests (all in & out much faster than us with the same large orders but far better service) was at least due in part to our clothing or appearance. I hope, in the future, your staff don't base their attentiveness on whether a patron is wearing expensive clothing or not.
