Thoughtt it was a brunch, not just lunch. Four Seasons needs to stop working as COVID agents for Gov of Hawaii.
Great service, setting, and food. We will be back.
Beautiful ambiance. Food was good, but overpriced for lunch menu. Server was very nice, but forgot many items and we had to flag her down to get foods that were forgotten. Was never asked about dessert at the end or provided with the fish of the day. Other than that it’s a beautiful place to have lunch and soak in the view.
Received excellent service from our waitress Kailen. Food was great!
Service was okay not excellent as other reviewers had indicates
Daughter & grandson visiting from Pasadena, CA
Ashton was an incredible server. Thank you so much for all of your recommendations and patience with us. It took a little time for three rest of my party to show but Ashton was still very attentive and then when the rest of my party arrived she was took our order right away. It was my first time there and I can’t wait to go back and visit. Thank you again Ashton.
Enjoyed the weekend brunch here.. The only thing negative is the wait time between the courses being served. Waited nearly 45 minutes between the seafood platter and main dish. 😫
This is a difficult review to write. The brunch was a price fixed menu, not a buffet as you would normally expect, ue to Covid restriction. The food was very good to excellent, although not everything was something that I would normally get for brunch, and when I told the waiter of my seafood alergy, he did not offer anything to substitute for the oyseter on the menu, just deleted that item.
Still, I would have been more than happy, excpt for the fact that the meal was VERY expensive - $80 - for what we got. For that price, I would expect at least a single glass of chanpaign or a mimosa, but all of that was extra,
Great meal, pathetic value
The lunch service was outstanding - our waiter was patient, knowledgeable about the menu, and cheerful. The food was excellent, fresh, well-prepared and served right out of the kitchen. The atmosphere was very relaxed, as befitting the restaurant right on the beach. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will come back!
It was very pleasure to eat and enjoy with familys
nice area and good service
The service was excellent, truly filled with Aloha. Brunch was exemplary with each course simply delicious. My favorite was the seafood appetizer.
All around very enjoyable!
Great meal with a broad selection on the brunch menu.
Delicious gourmet food! Great service. Great view!
We had burger, curry sword fish with rice & Ahi Poke plus a Tropical drink. The drink was delicious but was disappointed with its presentation with only a cherry in the drink, no Hawaii like … Sword Fish with curry & rice was just ok , curry sauce was on very light & watery, wasn’t special at all. My daughter enjoyed her Ahi Poke. My husband’s burger was ok. The total bill came up &120+ before tips which we felt it was over priced based on its value, presentation & taste , my expectation from the four season kitchen is higher. However the service was good , table was next to the pool not direct to the ocean view. One good side is the restaurant validate 3 hours free valet parking. So after the meal, guests could tour the hotel, beach by the lagoon . The beach was very crowded since it connects to the Disney resort next to it , the hotel is beautiful - Four Season
Great. We ordered chips it cones with refills. The staff and ambiance was amazing
Very average experience and just right food. I was expecting somewhat better food quality.
Fantastic spot for lunch
To be honest, I was skeptical that a prix fixe brunch would be able to rival the famed buffet brunch from pre-pandemic times (I had not experienced the buffet but had heard incredible rave reviews from friends). I'm 6'2" and enjoy eating, so I was also skeptical this would fill me up. I was wrong! I was in a food coma by the dessert course! and the choices for each course were amazing especially the poke, sashimi, prime rib, truffled fried rice, lobster tail, jumbo shrimp, and a particularly impressive and unique version of eggs benedict! also included were fresh-squeezed tropical juices (my favorite is guava). We opted to order drinks separately rather than choose the wine pairing option (~3 oz per pairing). My wife ended up having 2 orders of prosecco, and I had 1 glass of chardonnay in addition to my 3 fills of guava juice, and we were wonderfully satisfied.
The former brunch buffet at La Hiki Kitchen pre-covid was the most fabulous on the island. Now, the buffet is gone and the prix fixe brunch served leaves A LOT to be desired.
The food quality is very good, and the service is also up to par, but how do they manage to INCREASE THE PRICE of the brunch and give you 1/10th the amount of food? And no alcohol included like it was before.
For $79, the prix frixe brunch is not worth the drive from town. Now we'll have to wait and see when the buffet gets reinstated, will it be $100/pp?
Outstanding service; great fun. Can't wait for true buffet to come back.
Wonderful location in beautiful hotel. Great food and service
The food was delicious, great service. The location of the restaurant was not the best ambience in comparison to the restaurant in Big Island.
Everything was so delicious! Only thing that bummed us out is we were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us mochi with ice cream and one of them was old and even crumbled. 😔 while the other one was perfect. Everything was amazing.
Outstanding service provided from check-in to check out! Staff were phenomenal! Food was fantastic! Five star experience for sure! Would definitely recommend this place to others.
I would highly recommend La Hiki Kitchen to anyone and everyone! From the time we arrived, the hostess and our server were friendly. The pre-fixed, four course brunch was delicious and worth the price. Seating is outdoor but it was a nice and breezy day. Will definitely be back!
Spacious, not overly crowded outdoor dining with the family. Consistently great food with vegetarian options. Will be back!
In consideration of Covid restrictions, the brunch was a pre-fixe menu. The food was delicious and well presented. However, it could not compare with the brunch buffet of pre-covid times. Nonetheless, I appreciate such a pleasant brunch experience.
Food was great, I would definitely go back. The staff were friendly and attentive and we would definitely go back.
I love this place (usually give 5-stars), but this was the first time that it was completely off. Appetizers arrived after lunch was delivered to table. Food wasn’t as tasty as usual. However, in true Four Seasons fashion, they comped our drinks for their mis-steps. Will be back!
Excellent brunch and well worth the price. Excellent service provided by Russell our server and wonderful local entertainment
Outstanding dinning experience. Setting and service were superb. The food was great tasting and presented well. All was beyond expectations. So full had to roll me out of the place.do it if you get the chance.
We were seated poolside but it was still quite relaxing. Though we do miss the pre-pandemic buffet, the 4 course plated dishes were fantastic. I am a seafood lover, so I loved the chilled seafood plate with sashimi, poke, oysters, and shrimp. They also catered to my toddler with his request for a grilled cheese sandwich, which was not on the kids menu. And the apple juice they gave him was freshly squeezed apple juice, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, food and service were excellent!
We went to LA HIKI to celebrate our anniversary and they did not disappoint in any phase of service. They followed all safety guidelines and procedures for a comfortable dining experience. While it is not the buffet, the 4 courses are more than enough to fill hearty appetites. The food and service was at it's finest and a well trained staff kept operations smooth.
Such an amazing experience! We went there to celebrate an occasion, and the food was delicious, and the customer service was amazing.
Poke was delicious; fish of the day was dry; ahi Bahn mi was too much bread and very little filling, onion rings were not served hot. Menu was very overpriced
Beautiful venue but other than the Maui chips the food was unremarkable.
Very nice service. Food was good. Music a bit loud making it difficult yo have a conversation.
