   We had a Groupon so we went for an anniversary celebration. The food - as usual - was outstanding. Service was pretty good, but the waitress' attitude was a bit irritating. We will definitely be back again!

   Had an early dinner on a weeknight; therefore, the bar was empty and few tables eating dinner. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Would definitely dine there again.

   A lovely setting and excellent service but I'd guess whoever buys the food is driven by price not quality. I'd suggest firing the seafood supplier, hiring a pastry chef, and losing the frozen vegetables. What could have been a wonderful dining experience marred by mediocre food.

   Food was average, room was nice, live music very good. Once waiter found out we had a Groupon he never came back until he gave us the check.

   visit on valentines day and it was amazing staff was very friendly and family oriented. food was very good and the drinks was very good AS WELL WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK !!

   The food was pretty good but the service was so bad that it ruined the entire evening. Our waiter rushed us through the order then did not return once until dessert was over! No drink refills no table checking, not once. We had to flag a busboy down to order dessert and ask for the check 3 times and wait 20 minutes for the check! Horrible service.

   The place was packed but they still were so accomodating. Cold antipasti, shrimp scampi, fettuccini bolognese, yum. Flowing wine. This is my go to place for comfort. Thank you.

    La Grotta is one of our all time local favorites, dating back to when it was on Midland Ave. Food is always good, excellent value. It is authentic Italian food cooked by authentic Italian chef/owner. They are especially accommodating to children, and open to cooking things your way if you have a special request. We love their pastas and fish. The best calamari fritti out there. They often have music , like music from the 60's and 70's, bring your parents! Its a festive sing along atmosphere. Service depends on who you get and how busy it is. This past Friday night there were several large parties so service slipped in our eyes. We waited quite a bit for our food, waiter never came back to check on us, entrée was served without the sides. We know this is not the norm there , we typically aim for slower nights when service is top notch
