This one of the most beautiful restaurants in NYC. We sat in the atrium area, which is a sunlit escape in the middle of Manhattan. The food is also quite good: we had the charcuterie with cheeses and prosciutto to start and salads. We loved it and recommend it highly. It’s very Instagram-friendly!

Had something simple, Eggs Benedict - stingy on the hollandaise sauce and my eggs were super overdone. Out of our party of 4, can’t say anyone was too happy with their food. Service wasn’t great as well - too bad because pretty ambiance.

Ordered a steak medium rare. It arrived medium well. Not sure how the kitchen could have sent it out like that, considering it was sliced by someone in the kitchen. By the time my new steak arrived, my three friends had pretty much finished their meals. This place is convenient for a pre-theater meal but pricey considering the food quality and the service.

My girlfriends and I enjoyed a pre-theater lunch together. We chose to sit inside because it was too hot outside, and we were glad we did. Laura, our wonderful and attentive server, confirmed that our drink choice, La Vie en Rose, was an excellent option. We were thrilled with her recommendation. For our second drink, we each opted for a delightful sparkling rosé. As for the food, we each ordered a different omelet, which came with delicious potatoes. For dessert, we decided to share three profiteroles topped with whipped cream. The total bill, including the tip, was just under $300.00 for the three of us. We can't wait to return - a wonderful lunch with friends.

Food quality was disappointing, especially for the price point. The boeuf bourguignon was dry and underseasoned. The French onion soup was more of a stew with little broth and clumps of onions. Beyond that, the restaurant seems to have an unspoken policy of seating parties with children in the far back corner. We have older children and were still seated in the “kids section.” There is no kids menu, though, so you’ll still be paying full price for second class treatment. Would not recommend.

We love eating at the Grand Boucherie. It’s like you’re spending an afternoon in Paris. The food is delicious and our server was really outstanding. They make the best Croque Madam outside of France. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fantastique dining experience. And make sure to reserve a seat in the atrium. It’s got a great ambience.
