Lovely experience.. felt like I was back in a cafe in Paris.
It was fabulous!! We all loved our meals! Bronzino was superb as well as the sea bass!
Service was amazing and the food was delicious
If it’s more about the people and place rather then the food you will love this restaurant. Dishes were very good but not outstanding as the price would have you believe. Service is efficient and attentive but the overall ambiance is just basic bistro. Things get loud especially if your seating is relegated to the bar area.
It’s Palm Beach and all you would expect in that but we have eaten in many other places far and wide in the world and there is better for sure. With my wife being French my guess is this will not make our list of favorites any time soon.
Service and food were impeccable. Everything prepared to perfection.
Only complaint was that dessert not up to rest of meal. Crepes Suzette bland and unattractive.
Expensive but very satisfying meal.
Certainly I’ll return.
Loved the food and the ambiance. Our waiter was excellent and we had a great experience.
First time diner. Food and wine were excellent! Service from the barman to our waiter, John F, was superb.
Very enjoyable evening. We will be back.
Outstanding food, atmosphere & service.
Super fun!!! Great food and energy!!
Love this restaurant.
The food was outstanding. The prices might seem a bit high, however the value is there. The menu is inventive and fun. Our waiter, Stefan, was just terrific. The sea bass, tournedos, cheese soufflé were insane. Don't you all stampede there, leave a spot for us! Shout out to the back of the house, they are killing it, too.
Fabulous! Best treat for Mother’s Day
Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Great place for authentic french food.
It was Mother's day. They were not prepared. $500 later, food was really disappointing.
This restaurant is way too loud for enjoyable conversation! This is a problem with many new installations, as all the surfaces are hard. They did try placing sound reducing material in the ceilings; but it needs a lot more!
Another great meal, this time for Mother’s Day.
A perfect dining experience - loved it!
Great food atmosphere and service……..most enjoyable
Exemplary service, delicious food. Our waiter was especially careful with corking an old bottle of wine we brought to celebrate our anniversary.
The staff were excellent.
I had the duck ala'orange; not a lot of meat, good taste but not outstanding. The wild rice was bad.
My guests thought the food was good, not outstanding; but the price was high so not a good value.
Veloute d’artichauds was very good. Escargots ok. The filet de bar was fine but on way too much potatoe and other unrelated stuff. Roasted cauliflower good. Branzino en croute very good but sauce too salty, fennel not properly cleaned (Strunks left) and rice overcooked and not well harmonizing with the dish. Overall good but disappointing.
Scallops were described as three large. They were very small and mediocre. Disappointing and I would not order them again. Additionally we had to keep looking for our server to order more wine. Not very attentive.
I live nearby but won’t be there anytime soon. Overpriced and disappointing.
If you want to be immediately transported to France, this is the place.
Delicious and cannot wait to become a regular.
A favorite, but staff isn’t what it used to be
Delicious and delightful
Great experience! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable!!! The doors were open and allowed a nice refreshing street view and weather was beautiful! Overall great, price was pretty high but it was so worth it!
Loved La Goulue!
The ambience is lovely...classic French Brasserie. Our waiter was charming and gracious when we made special request for child. The cocktails were
excellent... the smokey old fashioned was the best I’ve had locally.
The food however was another matter. There was no seasoning in every dish we ordered. The chef seems to have an aversion to salt or he’s disinterested. A sign of a skilled kitchen is correct use of salt and balanced seasoning to bring out flavor in each dish. The escargot did not taste fresh and lacked garlic. Tuna Tartare was bland. The croutons in the Salad Lyonnaise were stale (premade) and the lardons were chewy/dry to point of inedible.
The lemon tart was a mousse with no pucker and the other desserts were lack luster.
The bread and butter were excellent.
A waiter, not our charming server, came up to the table towards end of meal with a broom and dustpan and started sweeping under it while we were still sitting there?
Everyone at the table aside from the child was a luxury food professional and we rarely complain but this was very poor quality for the price $300 for 3 (brunch). It’s a pity because a little salt, interest and freshly prepared ingredients (croutons and lardons take seconds) could turn this into a local favorite.
Wouldn’t return until we hear improvements are made.
Poor and inattentive service; muscles were not prepared or cooked well with many just a sliver open and the sauce level was shallow to the point only an eighth of them had a hint of flavour.
Usually a fan, hopefully was just an off day.
Service was excellent. Food was good, but for the prices I expect outstanding. Will try again in the summer should they decide to run a summer menu.
We were rushed from the minute we sat down until we paid. It was awful. The hamburger was disappointing. Bun soggy. Extremely messy. The Chilean sea bass meal came cold. We will never go back.
Fabulous food. Little loud inside. Had to wait a while for one of the appetizers in our group. Overall enjoyed the dining experience and will certainly return.
No AC we were boiling
Amazing, as always!
The ambiance, service and quality of food was wonderful.
Love the wonderful warm staff , great food and ambiance!
All around great experience.
Perhaps La Goulue is resting on it’s pre Covid reputation. I let the server know that my mussels were not cooked and yet no offer to rectify. The potatoe gratin and green beans were tasteless, the waiter rude. Rude waiters are fine if you are in France where the food is divine. Here the food is expensive, ill prepared and tasteless. I would like to add that it was supposed to be a special dinner out and The meal came out in five minutes.
Terrible experience overall.
