La Goulue will be offering a la carte menu for the first seating between 6pm - 7pm. New Year's Eve Prix Fix Menu at $195.00 per guest from 8pm - 10:30pm. All reservations for the second seating require a nonrefundable pre-payment of $100 per guest which will be deducted from your final check. Should you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, we ask that you do so 72 hours prior. Any cancellations or no show made after will be charged $100 per guest. The chef's specials of the day were truly outstanding and the dessert soufflé was superb. The Bordeaux wine was excellent. We enjoyed our lunch at La Goulue and highly recommend it.

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving feast at La Goulue with my small family; even managed to score a wonderful corner table in the very back. It's the 2nd year we have dined there for Thanksgiving, and the food was plentiful and delicious. The ambiance is superb, especially when the room is dimmed and the candles are lit - it truly feels like you can be somewhere in Paris - and the music was smooth and tasteful. My one small complaint is that I feel the food could have been served hotter; I realize this is a very popular day at the restaurant, but the soup was lukewarm, along with all the turkey trimmings. That said, the turkey, stuffing, braised brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, gravy, etc. were excellent, as was the service. A giant thank you to the maitre d' who is always so warm and gracious. As lucky neighbors, we will - as always - return.

The entire staff is extremely attentive and they always make you feel like you’re their best customer. It is a rather simple approach and wished more restaurants would take notice. Treat others like you’d want to be treated! Food never disappoints either… Daoud the manager is a pro.

What really sets La Goulue apart is the attention paid to patrons by the staff. Stellar. Very French. Classic Upper East Side dining experience. The food, ambience and service do not disappoint. Curious about Omar’s entertainment venue in the back room. Will need to try that out next time!

This has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. I even remember the original on Madison Avenue. It's classic French - onion soup, souffles, entrecote, meringues. The setting is beautiful. And the staff are positively friendly.
